Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie ($7.75) - Creamy-crunchy kataifi pistachio filling, marshmallow exterior lacked chew & elasticity.

**** Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie **** Here for the *viral* trend in Korea? We went to Bay street on a whim so why not? Sadly, this rendition is not worth going out of your way for. At least to me. The Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie is only available Friday-Sunday and is $7.75 each. Good crispy-creamy texture (toasted kataifi and pistachio cream) but no stretchy pull, nor chewy bite...the marshmallow exterior was like dry, stale playdough. The cocoa powder was not bitter enough so it was hella sweet compared to the ones from Korean bakeries. Their candied apples looked great tho and ideal gift of nostalgia for your loved ones!

I love caramel apples and I can't find many places that sell them. I finally got to stop by dipped while I was doing some shopping at Bay Street. I ordered the milk chocolate almond apple and they were nice enough to cut it for me. I also got the peppermint white chocolate rice krispy. The apple was $11 and rice Kristy was $4.25. With tip I paid about $17 something. Will definitely be coming back.

I absolutely love this place! I try to go here whenever i'm in the area The inside is small, it is a quick grab and go place. I love their caramel apples especially the milk chocolate w white chocolate drizzle! I love that they cut the apples for you as well. I tried their dubai chocolate strawberries and the new dubai chewy cookie as well ‍ Note: the dubai cookie is better heated up! Need to come back asap!

I made my way into Dipped 10 minutes before closing on a late Saturday night. No wait but when walking by earlier it was definitely busy! Dipped is such a fun and delicious spot for anyone with a sweet tooth! I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake dipped apple and it was incredible the perfect mix of creamy, fruity, and crunchy. The customer service was excellent! the staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome. As far as the ambiance it was clean with bold red walls and a playful mural. The space feels clean, modern, and inviting. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors!

Why not try a box of assorted dipped Oreos and assorted cheesecake cups? The matcha dipped Oreo. It was creamy and subtle and the color was very pretty. I'm glad they dipped it with enough chocolate-to-cookie ratio. The strawberry cheesecake was soft and perfection in a 3-bite size.

If you need a little treat on Bay Street - Dipped is definitely the way to go! I went a few times while staying nearby on a work trip and tried the "viral strawberries" and some cheesecake bites. The strawberries were delicious - fresh, sweet and cute. I watched another customer order them and then asked for half of the chocolate, only because it was an overwhelming amount! The chocolate begins to harden immediately, but it was such a tasty, indulgent treat. The cheesecake bites were fine - but I will try their chocolate covered rice krispy or a caramel apple next time!

This place is small and simple, plenty of treats available in the display case on a late Saturday afternoon. They were sold out of strawberry cups and trays, but they still had various dipped flavors of large strawberries (milk chocolate, cookies n cream, fruity cereal, and strawberry shortcake)... I kept it simple with the milk chocolate dip, and was not disappointed, it tasted fresh and made with quality and care (the chocolate shell didn't fall apart easily like some other cheaper versions of dipped strawberries). We also tried the chocolate covered pretzels (milk chocolate, milk chocolate toffee, and dark chocolate), the toffee and dark chocolate preferred. Service was patient, helpful, and instant, two workers behind the counter ready to help. We enjoyed our goodies at the bay break dining terrace seating upstairs while enjoying live music at Bay Street Emeryville. A bit pricey, but a good experience overall at Dipped.

When I saw that there was a store that offered dipped goods, I knew I had to try it out. The store is nestled amongst other stores in Bay Street. I ended up getting the cookies & cream cheesecake bite ($4), the dubai chocolate cheesecake bite ($6), and a cookies & cream dipped oreo ($3.25). The strawberries also looked good but I was already super full after lunch. I think all 3 treats were good but my favorite was the cookies & cream cheesecake bite (I am biased though since it's my favorite). I thought the dubai chocolate cheesecake bite was tasty, though I never tried the actual chocolate. The cookies & cream dipped oreo is probably the sweetest treat out of the 3, even for myself with the sweet tooth. However, it was expected, especially since all 3 are rich. The coating isn't too thick though. Definitely a treat yourself type of shop but there is likely something for everyone who is a sweets lover!

    Excited to try this

I definitely enjoyed my dipped strawberries. They were not too sweet, just right! They were delicious! I guess the best I've had. I'd definitely be back if they weren't so expensive. $14 for 6 dipped strawberries is more than I'd like to pay, like damn! Who made these princess Diana? Haha They had other goodies like dipped Oreos, dipped marshmallows, & mini cheesecake bites. If things were cheaper I would've tried almost everything. Anyways the customer service was great and the place is small, there were no tables to sit at, just in & out type of transaction. The end.

My 1st visit to Dipped & was enticed bc I saw the Candy Apple signage. There was a lot of other items like cheesecakes, dipped & decorated Oreo cookies that looked too beautiful to eat. My heart was leaning towards the Peanut covered Candy Apple so I brought that home to enjoy. My first bite was a nice crunchy peanut layer but there was no sweetness to the apple & it was a little smaller than what I've bought at other places. Thanks Dipped for the fond memories I have of eating a Candy Apple.

I've now been to this newly opened dipped location on Bay St. twice. It is conveniently located near one of the entrances to the apartments just above the Bay St. shopping area so I pass it very frequently. Parking in the area can be tricky - if you're lucky, you may find a spot on Bay St ; meters are $3/hour. Alternatively, you can park in the Bay St. garage, prices vary depending on length of stay but for reference 3 hours is $4.50. There are free electric vehicle chargers randomly throughout the garage as well. The employees at Dipped are nice and helpful. The dipped fruit looks yummy and is decorated/presented well. I got the same exact thing on both trips but the price seems to been slightly different the second time around (perhaps they increased price by - small amount?). Each trip I got two chocolate covered strawberries and a milk chocolate carmel apple with almonds. The staff will happily slice your apple for you but beware that the container won't close entirely due to the stick in the apple. Unfortunately on the second trip the strawberries were a bit mushy. The apples were good each time but did brown immediately upon being cut; tasted great tho. I would definitely return but likely just for the apples.

For those who don't know what the Dubai chocolates are, they are milk chocolates filled with shredded phyllo dough and pistachio cream. My first impression was whether or not I had walked into an art gallery or a confectionary shop. Uh...turns out both! According to their website, the owner and her partner were originally artists prior to becoming chocolatiers. This place just screams creativity and their chocolates are ethically-sourced and almost too pretty to eat. They even have a backroom gallery to showcase local artists' confectionary-inspired works. We couldn't find the Dubai chocolates, but one of the employees approached us and asked if we needed any assistance. Turns out they were in the back and they had just received a shipment! The Dubai chocolates were nutty, crunchy, flaky, and velvety all in one! Pricey, but worth trying. Also, might I just take a moment to say I absolutely adore the shop's name! It almost looks like "XO Chocolate" as in kisses and hugs, bu also reminded me of the language of the ancient Latin American civilizations and - fun fact - Xocolatl (you see the play on words?) means chocolate (literally means "bitter water") back when they would mix purely cocoa and water as a drink. If I'm not mistaken, this business is Latina-owned, so perhaps that was intention? So clever and, either way, kudos to them!

I was surprised that no one spoke of business specifics in their reviews. There is a limit to how many can come in; and you are not allowed to touch anything when inside. There are also no prices listed anywhere. We thought this was odd. Our order: * Personal Peach Cobbler * Walnut Brownie * Banana Pudding For these 3 items, our total was over $25. The service was friendly but a bit awkward. You are only able to see cases of dessert options, it is more of a pick-up point, not so much a bakery location you can browse. I wouldn't suggest coming as a large group, there is no where to sit to enjoy your baked goods and parking is very difficult. While the cobbler and banana pudding were good, I wasn't a fan of the brownie. My partner enjoyed the cobbler a lot, but when we did the calculations, the prices were astronomical. I'm not sure what gourmet difference the items contained, but we likely would not come back to this bakery considering prices and parking. The location is cute, in theory, but with no actual location or displays, or price lists- what you pay for doesn't balance out. The lack of transparency for prices was very sus to us. I'm sure the business will continue on especially with how much they charged. I can't imagine the bakery location and building rent costing a lot as far as operating costs; as it is small, and not expansive at all. The price of the baked goods doesn't even go towards branded packaging. Which could be understandable. The only beverages available that I seen was Nesquik. Steep prices with no justification - especially when you have other bakeries in the area, in addition to Nation's for Pies, very affordable and classic as well. E&J's has a great banana pudding and cobbler as well for $6- they are also a Black-owned business and family operated. Absolutely no bad intent, just wanting to share transparency in my review so Yelpers know that prices are not listed, which means they are subject to fluctuation- in this economy that is not a fair way of doing business. One star per item we liked, for this review. As much signage is visible upon entry regarding rules and limited persons for entry at a time- not one area provided prices; only signs that tell you not to touch. It's required by law for prices at every establishment to be listed, according to SB 478 for general consumer goods and services in California.
