Dippin' dots is located by Mr.Cow in Waikele Outlet Mall. There is seating nearby in the shade. The prices are a little high but worth the price! You can choose up to a certain number of flavors depending on the size. I got a small with two flavors for $5.99 before tax. The ice cream is so good! The texture is the best part. Growing up, getting Dippin' Dots was a rare and special treat, so any time I get the chance to have it again, I go for it. I only recently discovered there's an actual Dippin' Dots store at the Waikele Outlets (probably because I don't go there too often), but I'm glad I stumbled upon it! I got a large cup with a mix of Rainbow, Cotton Candy, and Hawaiian Crumble, while my girlfriend kept it classic with Cookies and Cream. As soon as I took a bite, that nostalgic feeling hit me hard. There's really nothing else like Dippin' Dots. The tiny frozen beads are just so fun to eat, and the texture is super unique with that cold, melt in your mouth crunch. Out of the flavors I tried, the Hawaiian Crumble was easily my favorite. It had this pineapple crunch flavor that was both refreshing and tropical, perfect for a warm day. I thought it would've been actual flavored cookies and cream dippin' dots but it was more so vanilla flavor with cookie chunks. What's not to love about Dippin' Dots? If it's too expensive, don't buy it!? I used to patronize the now-closed Ala Moana location for years but it seems this is the only surviving store on Oahu. ATMOSPHERE: Located at the Waikele Premium Outlets, they share a space with a neighboring biz. No indoor seating, just communal outdoors, thankfully shaded. There were numerous flavors to choose from, so many that I simply asked if Banana Split was available, which it was! MENU: Ice cream, sundaes and floats. THE GOODS: Banana Split - $5.99 (small) This is the only flavor I've tried and order because it's that damn good! Tastes like the real thing too with no less than four different colors representing chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and banana. And, I've never seen a "banana split" flavor in supermarket freezers which makes this unique to DD. Being in scorching Waikele, the beads melt fast so you gotta pound it down quick which was a slight problem for me as people that know me, know that I take forever to eat as I savor every bite! Note that the prices start at 6.00 for a small and the flavors are limited. Considering that Dippin Dots is so hard to find I had to have it this one time. So, this is my first time visiting Dippin' Dots in waikele. I really love Dippin' Dots but the place I went to it wasn't to good. After a long day of shopping at the outlets I told my mom we NEEDED to end the day with Dippin Dots. Why? Because it's freaking DIPPIN DOTS and it made me think about all the times I begged my parents to take me there when I was a kid. While reminiscing I ordered the small banana split (which is what I always ordered when I was a kid) and my mom got half/half strawberry and vanilla. Prices are a bit steep at $4.25 for a small cup. Although even for a "small" size, I could probably have shared one with her. If you don't mind sharing you could probably get a medium and share since they allow you to get two flavors. Overall it was alright. I definitely liked it more when I was a kid and probably only semi enjoyed it because it brings back fun memories of being a kid. I enjoy Dippin' Dots. I think it's so fun to eat. This location is pretty convenient. I never favored Waikele Outlets, because I always seem to suffer from the heat. If I could leave zero stars I would. Went in and bought two cups for my daughters and a larger size for my mom and I to share. I had never had it before so I asked the sales clerk which flavor she suggested? She did not let us sample. She suggested birthday cake so I said ok. It was horrible. My mom and I each tried one bite of it and didnt like it. I went right back in and kindly asked if we could get a different flavor. The one my youngest got bc we both liked that one. The manager asked me if I had already taken a bite. I said yes. She says bc we both took a bite she can't exchange it. I say "So you mean if I would've said no you would dump it back in???" She says "we just can't bc you took a bite." And WALKS AWAY?! Who does that to a customer???
