Heart to Table Restaurant located in the heart of Waipahu. Locally owned and operated. It's a hidden gem of a restaurant. Tonight we finally got to try their Famous Alae Crusted Prime Rib (only available on Fridays). It was awesome. Perfectly prepared and delicious . It was seasoned perfect all the way through the roast. We also ordered the Bento that came with Hamburger Steak, Sweet and Sour Spareribs, Fried Chicken, Fried Noodles, and Macaroni Salad and we also ordered a plate of their equally famous Fried Noodles. Everything was perfect and delicious. We ordered ahead so everything was ready when we arrived. Highly recommended

Super nice people, open 6pm-11pm which is great for those who eat a little later. Parking lot is small and location is right next To K's Bento in Waipahu and below Sunny D's ukulele. Food is tasty and fish was fresh and moist.

HOLY MOLY POLY! This place is a hidden gem! Only open nighttime, but maaaaaan, everything we got here was a hit. We got a Heart To Table plate special, spicy bombs, and a pastele stew plate. When I say everything hit, I mean it. We were not disappointed at anything.

Second time trying Heart To Table in Waipahu. It's takeout only. Recommend calling ahead to avoid the wait, our food took 20-25 minutes. We ordered two of their poke specials: one with the creamy wasabi poke and adobo fried chicken, and the other with spicy ahi poke and honey garlic fried chicken. Both pokes were creamy, the spicy ahi was not too spicy and the wasabi subtitle and didn't clear out my sinuses. The adobo fried chicken had a stronger umami taste and honey garlic was on the sweeter side. Portions are generous and the prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety. The menu is kind of eclectic, which we loved--there's something for everyone (local plates, burgers with fries, açaí and sweet treats). They're open late from 6pm to 1am, which makes it a perfect go-to for a late dinner or midnight craving. Also worth mentioning: they do catering too, which is great to know if you're feeding a crowd.

Late night Takeout from Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii... Heart To Table is a small business with big flavor! It was a pleasant surprise on a dark night... Using my Yelp app and GPS, I saw the warm light from the window and open door. Heart to Table is a cozy, non-airconditioned establishment. Order from the pleasant gal at the counter, take a buzzer, and wait outside. In no time, I took my meal home. I had ordered "The Annointing" which includes honey garlic chicken, Inari, shrimp tempura, fried noodles, and macaroni salad on a bed of white rice. The container was PACKED! Everything tasted great! I'm looking forward to returning!

Food is really good. Their prices there is good. A Kalbi plate (pulehu short-ribs) $20. Fresh ahi poke love their food there. I also for the h2t Hawaiian plate the pork belly lau lau was good just that the pieces were really big.

Ordered take out and food was ready in 30min...as you can see from the pics, food is as advertised... Prime rib was medium rare and perfect amount of meat to fat ratio...complemented by the rice and Mac salad along with the horse radish and auju sauce is winna! Salmon and pasta was good, salmon was cooked perfectly and pasta was good and not overpowering to the salmon, complimented each other well. Hamburger steak is really good, get one unique flavor that I don't know what it is but goes well with da white gravy, rice and Mac salad! Steak, pasta and shrimp is good...steak was medium, shrimp was juicy and pasta completed all, even had piece garlic bread for add something extra. Overall food is a 5 star and would recommend to anyone!!!

Despite the long wait, food was delicious!!! - Fried noodles was salty. Couldn't figure out why my daughter refused to eat it until I finally tried it myself & yes, heavy on the sodium. - Poke special; SO delicious! I love the batter they used for the fried chicken. Crab salad, tempura, taegu, spicy ahi were all bomb! - I forgot which plate my husband got but he mopped it too except the Mac salad. Too peppery! Only other complaint is the rice was a bit tough... nonetheless we'll be back to try out more plates! Thank you Heart 2 Table.

Been eying out this place for quite some time now and I finally got to try it out. They've picked up popularity recently on social media and they were on the news so I figure they might be a little busier now then when I originally anticipated coming. The location is kind of a hole in a wall near Honolulu kitchen. There's several parking spots out front (maybe 6). You might be able to park a gross and walk over and maybe move your car later if a stall opens up only because they take awhile to make your food. There was already a line upon opening so it took awhile to order and then it took awhile for the food. I feel like In total it was maybe a hour there combined and I only ordered 2 items - prime rib and pork belly loco moco. I think both items were about $50 combined. The food itself was decent but it wasn't amazing. It's probably something I would go out of my way and drive out from town again. The prime rib was pretty standard, and the pork belly lacked taste. But out of the two - the prime rib was slightly better. The service was nice - there's also a stamp card. The person behind me said they came 3x in a row that week. So a stamp card would be perfect for them.

You can even make it a pre-Costco shopping delight stop. The menu is always changing but it feels like there's always something delicious to be had. My favorite is the Rocky Road where they actually add marshmallows on top and toast it for you. The Buttah Cakes has also been a recent gem that we've tried lately and it's absolutely delicious. Since it's freshly made, it's rich, creamy, and even a little scoop goes a long way. They even make waffle cones in store if you want to spruce things up for your dessert experience. The staff are friendly and handle rushes of customers well for the size of the shop. We're lucky to have a great shop like this in central Oahu so you don't have to drive all the way to town for a great ice cream fix.

I have been coming here since they were first open but I have not gotten around to reviewing them…read moreuntil now. I was craving ice cream. Let's just say this place changed A LOT over the past years. Service: 3/5 Waited about 5 minutes to get my order taken. There was a couple in front of me and the worker was chatting with them only. I was not aware of what she was doing until I realized I was waiting for a bit so I looked for myself and saw she was making a waffle cone. Would have appreciated if she told me "Be right with you!" She at least said thank you for waiting. Service used to be a bit more efficient from what I remembered in the past. While we were inside and eating our ice cream, 2 parties came in. They were waiting for about 3 minutes and I saw one of them looking around for the worker who went to the back. All we did was just shake our heads at this moment... Food: 3/5 Holy, these scoops though too. My sister and I paid $11 total for these tiny kid looking scoops. Ice cream tasted good but tastes mediocre now. I wanted a fruity flavor so I got the honeydew flavor that tasted like a melona without the stick. My sister's peanut butter and strawberry one was pretty good. However, I remember when they used to have flavors that I could not get elsewhere but it feels pretty basic nowadays. They give bigger single scoops at Baskin Robbin's for the same price or even a couple cents more. Ambiance: 5/5 I say there's ample enough seating and it feels clean and comfortable. I like sitting near the window but I just don't like that their one and only trash can is right next to that table. Verdict: I am not sure if I will be coming back. I noticed their flavors don't change as much as they used to. I remember being excited to see what's new but after today it seems like they been keeping things the same for awhile now. Between the size of the scoops, service, and the flavors I am not sure if I want to come back.
