During a pedicure, the technician used a foot rasp (the "cheese grater" tool) on the TOPS of my toes. Despite me explaining that my skin is very sensitive and tender, she continued until I was left with bloody scrapes and blisters. Using this tool on the tops of toes is not standard practice and was incredibly painful. When I called to share my concerns and sent photos, the response was defensive and unprofessional. Instead of listening, a man spoke to me using "legal mumbo jumbo" as if I were threatening a lawsuit. He even tried to shift the blame onto me for not disclosing a medical condition, despite the fact that this tool should never be used on the tops of anyone's feet. It took months of follow-up and sending photo updates of my scarring before I was finally heard. All I wanted was an acknowledgement of the mistake and a promise to retrain the staff, but the salon turned a simple safety concern into a hostile confrontation. Proceed with caution.

She spent time to really get the shape perfect.. which I really appreciate. I went back in because my nails were peeling and underneath was wet. So I went back in and the lady I think it was the owner. She fixed the nails. Great but the nail she didn't fully sand down is starting to peel again and seems to be a little wet still. I'm not sure if this normal for them to happen. I've never had this happen in the years I've had nails done. I love this place too. I'm just worried about going back and having my gel polish start peeling. I don't use the dip since I don't want to pay even more money. I'm kinda stuck I don't want to go get it fixed by them because if it peels again I'll be even more unpleased Im mainly writing this so they can look into the polish they use maybe it's cheap. I have no idea. So I just wanted to write this so they know what's up. Hope they can fix this and it doesn't happene to anyone else. Specially someone who would be a total Karen about it.
