Sooo I normally don't write reviews. But I got a set last week and they did a great job on the shape and nail design. I like how nice my nail tech was. She spent time to really get the shape perfect.. which I really appreciate. I went back in because my nails were peeling and underneath was wet. So I went back in and the lady I think it was the owner. She fixed the nails. Great but the nail she didn't fully sand down is starting to peel again and seems to be a little wet still. I'm not sure if this normal for them to happen. I've never had this happen in the years I've had nails done. I love this place too. I'm just worried about going back and having my gel polish start peeling. I don't use the dip since I don't want to pay even more money. I'm kinda stuck I don't want to go get it fixed by them because if it peels again I'll be even more unpleased Im mainly writing this so they can look into the polish they use maybe it's cheap. I have no idea. So I just wanted to write this so they know what's up. Hope they can fix this and it doesn't happene to anyone else. Specially someone who would be a total Karen about it. read more

I am very frustrated as I recently got my toes painted with gel polish. I didn't even get a full pedicure with the water bath, just toes gel polished with acrylic nails on my big toes. I was charged $55 for this. The nails were thick and bumpy. After two days, one of my acrylic nails popped off, I went in, and had it just painted with gel. They were quick to fix it for me, which I was thankful for. They also gave me a $10 gift card. Anyways, it has officially been 6 days since I got my original pedicure, and the gel is peeling off my toes. I've had a million gel pedicures before and they typically stay on for at LEAST 2 weeks, but typically they last for a month or so. It's been 6 days and I'm already missing 4 toes of polish. I'm very frustrated as I got these done for New Years and they've been nothing but horrible. I shouldn't have to go in multiple times to get my nails repaired for a simple gel pedicure. I've also just had an overall unfavorable experience there. The owners are rude and rush. read more

I have been going to Luxury Nails for years and will now not go anywhere else, because they are never as good. I've gone in with issues, like my cuticles or the nails being brittle, and they are professional, educated about nails and nail care that they know exactly how to help and how to make my nails absolutely beautiful and tips for nail health. They also do eyebrows and I have also learned to not have anyone else touch my eyebrows. I have complete trust in them. A special shout out to Kimmy, who has done my nails the last several times and does an amazing job. Sometimes there is a wait if you don't call first or make an appt, but it's always worth it!! read more

I have been here before for a manicure but today I got a mani and a pedi. A man was cleaning the front of the building when I got there and opened the door for me and welcomed me. He sat me in a chair and ran the water for me. It was a perfect experience thus far! I informed the man, and eventually the woman, that I was going to help their Yelp score by writing a review! The place is nice and clean for the most part. The reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the nail technician, who I believe is the owner made 3 of my cuticles bleed! I've had dozens of manicures but this never happened. And on the pedicure she was digging into my nail so hard I yelped! (No pun intended) The funny part is I even told both employees that I was looking forward to writing a good review about them on Yelp! The cashier apologized over and over and put some blue liquid on the wounds. Lol. All and all I wanted to give Luxury Nails a good review but I just can't! There are other places much better in the Valley and they won't make you bleed! UPDATE: My nails hurt so much during the night that I could not sleep until I took pain medication! This is ridiculous! I will not be returning! I had my nails done a few times here and the techs did great.... There needs to be better organization. People with appointments should not have to wait almost 20 minutes before being acknowledged. I was there for 45 minutes and all I did was soak my hands in acetone. I was in a few weeks ago with my 13 year old daughter. She was getting a manicure and I was in the room next door getting a pedicure. Left clear instructions that she was getting a regular manicure with gel nail polish. 30 minutes later, I found out that they were putting acrylic nails on her despite my instructions. They said it would be best to keep them on and remove them when they stated to grow out. They said they would take them off for free when we were ready. Today we came in to have them removed and they made us pay for removal. So not only are her nails ruined because of their error, she didn't get the manicure she wanted and they charged us for fixing their mistake. read more

Do not recommend Luxury Nails!!! 5 of my white tip nails broke within four days after application. When I went back to get them fixed, I was given the 3rd degree and was treated very badly. After they agreed to fix the 5 nails, but left one with a huge crack. Then when I inquired about the fill for the other 5 nails, because they were no longer even with the fixed nails, I was accused of wanting free service. No, I wanted what I paid $45 for, a complete set of white tips with all my nails with even fill. Sloppy sloppy job! I went back to complain immediately after getting in my car and looking them over. They were lopsided and I had polish all over my fingers and hands. When I explained this, the girl that did them said she didn't know what I was talking about and was extremely rude. After the manager came over she then used the excuse that it was because of the type of polish I chose. This couldn't be because otherwise they would all be this way and they weren't. The girl then said she didn't know what to do to make me happy and walked away. The manager then tried to fix it as best she could without ruining the design I chose. The manager then gave me back some of my money and appologized but I will not be coming back. For the price, it was not worth the stress and time it took to deal with the girls rude behavior and crappy service. read more

Horrible service here. The man who did my toes was not very kind and very rough. He just got up and left after he finished. Didn't say a word. Didn't put my sandals on, so I tried myself. I messed up my big toe. He had to repaint it. He wasn't happy. He then put on the disposable "shoes" and sat me at the "drying table with no fan running. Was in a big hurry to get to the nex costumer. Will not be back here. read more

Yesterday I went to get a pedi and a mani done. We were a bit late but they were ready for us when we got there. During my pedi my nail technician was super nice. I'm younger so she explained everything to me. She did a great job and took her time. She was very gentle! During my mani I had the same girl (May) she was very kind and explained everything to me again. She was very gentle and checked to make sure I was okay very 5 minutes. She did a very good job and took her time! She hit my skin with the drill once but it was my fault, I was moving. She made sure I was okay! Overall this is a very good place and it's pretty clean! The service is also pretty good! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they are not alway on time but I would recommend going here! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here sat down for an acrylic set , asked the price, she said 45. After that she kept adding money onto my price for things like removing my cuticles and FOR SHAPING MY NAILS. SHE CHARGED ME MONEY FOR SHAPING MY NAILS!!! Another thing is I went to pay and my nail lady went up to the young man sitting there mumbled something in her native language, so the boy tapped the screen once looked at me and said "55 dollars. Terrible customer service. I had an appointment at 3:30 arrived at 3:20 and then sat and waited till 4. At 4 I was then put into a chair where I again waited 15min with no service until finally I left. Employees did not have one customer at a time but instead would do one task for example shaping the nail, then move and leave the customer half done and leave them to wait, until then another employee would come and paint the nail. The way there were doing it was like they were "mass producing" a product. I don't understand why if a customer had an appointment they would then have to wait 45min to be taken care of. the acrylics i get here are always lumpy and sideways. one girl was doing my nails awfully and another took over and restarted by SCRATCH. my nails were unbelievably thin and my pinky nail even ripped off a couple days later. read more

My daughter and I went to get our nails done here on a Friday night. The place in general could use a very good scrubbing. It just does not feel clean nor does it look clean. They do not have a very good selection of polish colors and stuff is kinda scattered about. They did our nails and then just left us sitting there and we had to ask someone else to get the girl that was helping us so that we could go and sit under the dryer. Under the dryer there is a dirty looking carpet and there is just various things piled up on the drying area, again not clean. The lady who did my daughters nail did not even take the time to get all of her old polish off and just went right over it so you could see the bumps underneath the new polish. A very disappointing experience in general. Then to top it off both of our polish was coming off by the next morning. read more

Very dirty. He reused the pumice stone from multiple other people and rinsed it off to reuse again in my dirty water, rinsed the tools he used with water and put them back, and never washed out either mine or my moms tub at all. This is just asking to spread all sorts of funguses and folliculitis!!! Not to mention he watched the game on tv the whole time and wasn't even watching what he was doing. I went here today for a toe polish change. The sign says $5-10 plus $5 for design. So technically yes they could charge me the $15, but do they not take variables into consideration? My toes were pretty chipped and was not much work to take off, and I brought my own polish! He didn't even file or anything extra, did a simple dot design on ONE toe, and charged me the full $15! I asked why and they gave no explanation and did not adjust price. What a RIPOFF! I would give zero stars if I could. I will never go back here and will be telling everyone about it. read more

As a Bride to be I went to get a manicure and pedicure for my wedding. My pedicure was done is such a manner that you can see unpainted nail all the way around the nail border; which is a common issue I experience at nail salons. This is not overly concerning to me, because my toes are less visible. When I do my own nails I cover the whole nail, not sure why they never do. My main concern is the awful experience I went through for my manicure. The guy used a mechanical sander to get ride of the cuticles; instead of the soak and cut treatment. While doing this he was frequently hitting my skin and making the skin around most of my nails burn and become very sensitive. Then he hand sanded and polished and continued to do the same thing. My fingers had a sharp burning sensation when I was instructed to place them in water prior to sanded the tips to smooth even edges. Since it is my wedding day I looked up a picture of a design to show them for my french manicure. My nails are not very long, but the picture was of a girl that had fake nails on to add length. I told them that I wanted thin french tips with this design on the ring finger; which they needed to located another worker to perform a simple flower design since not every worker was able to do designs (apparently). Of course there is the awkward language barrier and I don't get my nails done often; I can actually count the number of times on one hand, so I am unsure of the processes when doing nails. The guy would tap or shove my hand away and seem frustrated that I didn't know what I was doing. When he said "ok" and shoved my hand away and down to the UV light to cure my nails; this was the only times he would said "ok". I was instructed to repeatedly put my nails back in as he worked on my other hand; sometimes 4x for one hand and 1x for the other, which my home one recommended no less than 3x. I left the Luxury Nails very concerned about how they turned out; and still tiped to be polite. The french manicure had the white portion halfway down my nail, which is not tips and looked terrible. As a bride that will be getting pictures of close up on my hands for capturing out rings and more, this was very concerning for me. We immediately turned around and went back in to show them and see what they could do to possibly fix my nails. They said "all people get their nails like that and it was exactly the same length as in the picture". So what they were telling me is they took the same length of white on the 1/3" or more fake nail picture that and put that same length of white on my short nails. I was never asked if my nails looked good while he was working on them. Luckily the guest sitting beside me, and was a frequent customer, stood up for me. She agreed that they looked terrible and the white was far too low on the nails. Told them they needed to fix them. They refused to fix them and kept trying to talk me out of it; but this kind other guest convinced them. So they started with the mechanical and hand sander to take of nail polish; again repeatedly hitting my skin, this time to the point of some blood, which stung in the nail polish remover that I had to repeatedly soak in. He didn't even get all of the white off my nails, so I can see it on the edges along my nail. He also put the layers on thicker this time and less drying time. Hours later I was touch gifts that I needed to wrap and my nails were getting stained due to the thick layer not being able to dry normal. Six of my nails had the clear coat above my nail onto the skin above and past my nail holding my nail to my skin, which is uncomfortable and looks bad; had to pry them open and now be careful so they don't catch on anything and peal off. The whole time while working on my nails they would talk in their own language. Some things were about me and cruel; grown of dissatisfaction as he worked, "baby, baby, baby" when they told him to fix it, speaking their language and "ok" with gesture towards me which appeared to be him telling them he'd asked me again and again if nails were "ok", when I went to wash my hands as instructed I could see them talking about me and gesturing to me in the reflection of the mirror, etc. I will never be returning here. Worst experience ever. Never felt a need to write a review before, but I thought I should share the experience of people that didn't care about how they treated their customer. read more
