This business has been here for decades, local run and authentic. Great ice cream and great novelty candy to top off your nostalgic relaxing trip to Anna Maria island. It's on the main drag near eateries to visit for dessert or enjoy as a midday treat like we did today! Love the memory lane candy! Great owner and good people. Open late for a late night craving too. I would post a pic of the ice cream we ate but we ate it too fast!

Dips Ice Cream was a perfect stop for our bike ride around Anna Maria Island. They have an outside window for ice cream and a nice size patio with comfy chairs to rest and enjoy our ice cream. We had the pistachio ice cream and rum raisin. They were so good. I also tried the key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake and the ones we picked were perfect. Dips is attached on the side to the Anna Maria Island General Store so if you need anything, it's even more convenient. This is a perfect area for browsing around the stores. Best ice cream on the island! The workers were extremely friendly and encouraged us to sample some of their unique ice cream flavors. The ice cream tasted amazing and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. My family and I usually came at night after we had dinner and loved to see the neon lights all around the area and the benches were we could all eat together. There was even a time when we came close to closing time and the staff was still extremely kind and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good sweet treat!

$52.54 for a vanilla cone, vanilla dish, twist cone, and sugar bowl with melted vanilla soft serve and a dish of melted vanilla soft serve with sprinkles. The machine must've been broken or the employee must've just refilled the soft serve machine be use the first two vanilla orders were fine, but the last two came out partially melted.... $52 for that? Most amazing flavor, freshness, and variety with plenty of chocolate options!'The bikes and golf carts were lined up/ parked along the quiet street while the patio was quiet with folks enjoying their ice cream treats! Super cute beach ice cream shop! We ordered from the window even though you can go inside... FYI there's a convenience store and a DELI in the back should you need something! The ice cream is amazing! They had such unique flavors and the kids had a blast on the big deck out front. Love the sunshades of this little plaza! read more

My friends and I went by dips today to get some ice cream after a long day of shopping and bike-riding. I got the Mango Heather, and it was exactly what I needed. It's Mango gelato and Coconut ice cream. Definitely will be coming back for seconds later on this trip. My friends got the Blueberry Cheesecake and Moosetracks, which were both amazing. We ate outside it was a pretty nice vibe. I had a great experience overall. read more

We have been coming to AMI ever since I can remember and we have made it a tradition to always get us some DIPS ice cream. The best on the island in my opinion. A little pricey for ice cream but it's totally worth it. You can order both inside and outside. If you order inside they have a sports section in the store that's fun and they have a general market store to pick up everyday needs. The outside area is nice to sit and eat your ice cream. There is no indoor seating. If you need a spot for a good scoop of ice cream then give them a try! read more

Dip's Ice Cream -- my rating is 2.5 - 3 Stars. Had better -- had worse. The Ice Cream was way too sweet and had too much food coloring for my taste. The storefront sells a little bit of everything from chips and candy to hot dogs, coffees, and breakfast sandwiches. But the true attraction is the ice cream. I can't say whether it's homemade or outsourced (like Blue Bell). What I CAN say is that if it is, I HAVE to find it. The raspberry sorbet, coffee crunch, and Cookie Monster were all raved about, but it was my Pralines and Cream that shocked me as the best I've ever had. At the end of the day, Handels is still my front runner and will be difficult to beat as many have tried and come close. But Two Scoops has made its mark in our travels and couldn't recommend it more.

We ordered the local clam appetizer and mixed the garlic and marinara sauce as suggested. We also added linguine and it was like its own dish. We could have ordered 2 of those and called it a day. The sauce was so good we wanted to lick the plate. I ordered a fried grouper sandwich with coleslaw. The grouper fillet was HUGE, perfectly cooked and the breading was slightly and flavorful. We will definitely be back when we visit again. Totally worth the drive and wait!

We started with the coconut shrimp. It was good. I got the hogfish with polenta. The polenta was excellent. For me the hogfish was just okay. It was very thin and the fry didn't have much flavor. We also had the shrimp and grits which was fantastic! It was super rich I am glad that we split everything. It was so interesting to have one dish that lacked flavor and the other to be bursting with so much flavor. Overall, the experience was good a little pricey but that is to be expected on the beach. I would come back and try some different options.

My family and I went here 3 nights on our vacation and it never disappointed! The Paradise supreme was definitely one of the best ice cream flavors I have ever had. It was a mix of tangerine and mango ice swirled in with vanilla ice cream. It was so refreshing and full of flavor! I also really enjoyed their cookies and cream flavored ice cream!
