Needing a quick sweet treat while on Anna Maria Island, we were led to Two Scoops, a cool little spot across the street from a coastal area. The storefront sells a little bit of everything from chips and candy to hot dogs, coffees, and breakfast sandwiches. But the true attraction is the ice cream. I can't say whether it's homemade or outsourced (like Blue Bell). What I CAN say is that if it is, I HAVE to find it. The raspberry sorbet, coffee crunch, and Cookie Monster were all raved about, but it was my Pralines and Cream that shocked me as the best I've ever had. At the end of the day, Handels is still my front runner and will be difficult to beat as many have tried and come close. But Two Scoops has made its mark in our travels and couldn't recommend it more.
