After just a few weeks of owning a Porsche you notice the brand adds a few hundred dollars to every task, big or small. Raul and his associates did not do that to me. In fact he went above and beyond expectation. I removed my regulators myself to save some $ but when I tried to reinstall I came across some problems. I could tell Raul was very busy but he made time to help a cheap man like myself figure out what I was doing. He had no problem offering me some tools I did not own and kept me hydrated. Very reasonable price considering that my windshield had been replaced once before by previous car owner and the didn't seal correctly (wrong type of sealant). Horrible customer service. I called for a quote and it was raining that day so they would not be able to come and replace it which was fine. They guy I spoke to said that he would give me a call back on a day that had better weather. He took down my number and I never heard from him again. That was in December ( around Christmas). I called again by accident ( I did notice I called this auto glass place in December) because I really needed the window fix and the same guy answers the phone. He ask what kind of window I needed replaced and he said he would call me back once he got a quote. I am still waiting for a call. I will have it replaced by another company. read more

I took in my car to have the windshield replaced after an unfortunate accident at work. I had already gotten a windshield replacement less than a week ago elsewhere and I was informed here that the technicians there did not install it properly nor did they use the correct parts. Raul (I think) still fixed their mistake without extra charge, he even installed my replacement windshield wipers for me because he noticed one of mine was ripped. He was transparent about the cost since the very beginning which is great because the other place told me a price over the phone and when it was time to pay up he increased the price to include labor and sealant which should've been included in the price in the first place. My regulator was out on my 95 Ford Explorer, every other place I called was over a $100 to replace and install. One mobile mechanic told me 140, another shop in Riverside told me 175...I finally called Direct Quality Auto Glass for a quote, and he told me $80.00... I set the appointment up and was seen that day and repaired within 2 hours. I will be definitely going back to Direct Quality Auto Glass in the future. The mechanic was also nice enough to drill out 2 rivets in the from of my truck that was preventing me from putting the front license plate up. He did it without charge. I spent a couple of days calling around places trying to find someone who would just do a seal job on my windshield since I had a leak. I was getting discouraged with my results when I found Direct Quality Auto Glass on yelp. I gave them a call and Raul answered. I explained my situation and was hoping he could help before the rain started back up a few days from then. He was more than nice and very professional and told me he would be able to help me no problem, after everyone else I called gave me the run around, or gave me a 50/50 chance my glass would break, or just telling me they wouldn't do the work. He took the time to make my problem his problem. I went and saw him that day, he gave me an estimate and I made an appointment to come back since it was practically closing time when I called. He even went as far as explaining to me the problem he saw with the original seal job. Helping me understand, I thought that was a nice professional touch. I had a rock fly at my windshield on my Audi while on vacation, and when i got back into town i needed it to be fixed immedietly. Direct Auto Glass gave me an awesome quote and fixed the windshield the next. But upon fixing my windshield, they broke my rear view mirror. As if breaking my mirror wasnt enough, they tried to say it was already broken and i was the one who broke it. After calling them and getting accused of breaking my own mirror they finally agreed to replace it. After multiple phone calls over a period of a month, they still havent fixed it. 4 different times they were supposed to come to my house and resolve the issue but still havent. Excuse after excuse is all i got. Finally someone just now came to my house to fix it (after trying to get me to drive to their warehouse instead). He gets here an hour and half late just to tell me he has to take my mirror off and take it to his shop to make sure he has the right one. So here goes another day with the problem still not fixed. I had plans on recommending them to many of my friends and fellow business owners for their glass needs, but i wouldnt want to put anyone else through this kind of inconvenience. I got a great price on my windshield, and they were very prompt with it, but they fell apart when there was a situation at hand that needed to be resolved. Very dissapointed in this company, i had plans to work with them and have a strong relationship for business as i am custom laser engraver and media printer. But that went out the window after they flaked on my for the second out of 4 times. read more
