I had a surprisingly nice experience with direct quality auto glass. I never really pictured myself leaving a review for an auto glass company, but my experience was so good... I have to leave a 5 star review. I got a small chip repaired and the cost was great at $65. They were very responsive via text to many of our back-and-forth messages. And very flexible about making an appointment and changing the appointment. Once I arrived at the shop, the lobby area was really nice. Super clean, with a nice little free coffee station, free, cookies, and even some free video games. Like other reviewers, I have to come in Carlos for how responsive and friendly he was. I've never had a chip prepared before, so I can't really comment on if the final product is the same or better than other companies. But they were very transparent and that they could repair it would still be a little visible. I would definitely go back if I needed a windshield or another repair. I was driving down the 91 and a rock hit my windshield. This is the third time this has happened to me on the 91 :( I knew I had to fix it ASAP so that the crack didn't elongate as it was already in a star shape. The first location i went to told me they wouldn't be able to fix it as it could possibly crack and they recommended i waited and get the windshield replaced. I was a little disappointed because i saw a similar crack on someone else's yelp review and assumed it would be fixed but i decided to give this place a try and see if i got the same resolution from them. Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion, you know? I believe it was Carlos (I'm horrible at remembering names) checked out the crack and said they could fix it. He did advise that it could possibly crack (standard procedure with most cracks) and if i wanted to take the risk they'd be willing to fix it. I obviously said yes because i was gonna have to get the windshield replaced either way. It took about an hour due to the weather conditions and they had a small waiting area for you. It was only $50 bucks which was A LOT cheaper than most places. I originally had gotten quoted ($50-65 depending on the crack here and $75-80 in other locations). I added some pictures of the crack and how it's fixed. It's obviously not perfect, as it's still a star shape and it is close to the edge of my windshield. But overall I'm satisfied that i can wait longer on having to replace my windshield! I wasn't looking for perfect just a temporary fix! Honestly give them a try!
