A few months ago our Internet speed went down from 100Mbps to 3Mbps. Yes, three. It took them about 3 weeks to get it fixed. In the process I have been in contact with mediocre customer service reps that are trained to copy/paste boiler plate responses. It doesn't matter whether they've given you an answer or ETA. They'd always ask, "Is there anything else that I can help you with?" so they can end it asap. This time around I had to move my service to a different address. The first rep that I talked to set up the install schedule. A day later I still didn't get any sort of confirmation. I contacted them again. Turns out that the schedule wasn't made at all. So I had to make another request. The rep that I chatted with this time was extremely slow and couldn't get a grip of the issue and task to be done. In the end, the install was scheduled. But wait... I ain't falling for this again. I immediately contacted them again to see if there was an install scheduled. Yes, there was, except that it was scheduled to be done at my OLD ADDRESS!! How can they mix this up?? Come on.. transfer of service to a new address that you were aware that was not in your system yet. Need any more clues on where to send the technician to? So, it took me the third time to get this simple job done.

    David at ABBA Systems is the real deal…read more I have a Sony XBR-75Z9F (75" Master Series) that suddenly went completely black. Multiple shops either told me it wasn't fixable, parts were impossible to get, or that it wasn't worth the effort because of how complex this TV is. David was the only one who stepped up and actually took the time to diagnose it properly. Instead of guessing or pushing a replacement, he identified the real issue and repaired it at the component level (T-Con / buffer board)--something most places won't even attempt. He had everything fixed and back to me in less than a week, and now the TV works perfectly again. Communication was excellent the entire time and quick responses, clear updates and he followed through exactly as promised. On top of that, he's just a genuinely nice, honest guy who clearly knows what he's doing, especially with high-end TVs. You can tell he takes pride in his work and doesn't cut corners. Hopefully I don't have another broken TV anytime soon, but if I do, there's no question I'm going straight back to David. If you're dealing with something other shops won't touch, or even something that is a regular job, this is your guy.

I called David and he was able to repair the faulty internal board for only around $375. And that cost was only because he had to take the tv apart and repair at his shop. If it had been a main board that was on the exterior it would have come out to much less. While here, I found out he also does VHS to DVD transfers. If you want to avoid having to buy a replacement tv...... I Highly Recommend!

I accepted one of them, and I also want to say that I genuinely apologized for my part in how things escalated. Just one business day later, Jon-Michael from Technical Support contacted me and scheduled a new installation date. Mike (hands down their best technician) came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and set up a new system that has been working flawlessly ever since. I can't say enough good things about Mike's expertise and professionalism. Logan also helped get the system configured and running smoothly from the virtual support side. I am now more than happy with Cityside Fiber -- both as an internet provider and as a company overall. If you're having any issues with Cityside Fiber, my strong advice is to escalate to one of the people mentioned here. Strider, Jon-Michael, Mike, and Logan are all true professionals who will do the right thing for you.

They never call back…read more You get placed on hold for a long time and then their automated service asks that you leave your number. Good luck in getting a call back when you do. The actual fiber service is fine and fast when it is working. It just keeps dropping regularly and of course at bad times like Teams calls or when watching the game. Perhaps because they are a new service in the area. I miss Cox, especially when I have to reach out to Cityside's customer service or "concierge." They are pretty bad. Again, the fiber service is ok but their concierge is horrible. They never answer and never call back.

Ive had internet issues at 3 am and have still gotten help! The stores are also conveniently located with welcomed walk ins. Ive been a customer for over 15 years starting when they used to be Time Warner and have been extremely happy with the service, and constant loyalty discounts and available promotions! You just dont get that sane reliability AND affordable pricing with Dish or Direct TV. Ive just recently upgraded away from the DVR to XUMO and let me tell you, I LOVE IT! No wiring everywhere, no headache to setup and activate, and the unit is small enough to fit in the palm of your hands. Its LOADED with avaliable sports channels and movie lineups, and it's intuitive! Whatever youre watching creates a que for more of the same type! If you love action, horror, rom com, or reality TV, you're suddenly in a rabbit hole everytime with LOTS AND LOTS of recommendations available! If you ever need new equipment, they will send it right out to you free of charge and most of the time you'll receive it the very next day with online instructions on how to activate it, and if youre still not sure all you need to do is call customer support and they will take time to walk you through the activation process step by step! Transferring your service to another location is a breeze too! There is no comparison!!! I could go on and on and on about how incredibly pleased with Spectrum, but Id be here all day.
