Each time I do my research I end up staying with Grande. Nobody can get close to the 400 Mbps speed, time warner is the fastest @ 50 and at&t brags about their "super fast" 12 Mbps! Grande like all of the other companies has low entry packages that begin to creep up after 6 months so you have to change plans every 6-12 months to keep getting the best deal. This is why they lose a star. Service is better than any I have seen, tech support is in Texas! Technicians give you specific time frames and call before they show up for installations. I am sticking with them but be warned grande, AT&T is putting fiber optic lines in my neighborhood so I will be reviewing my plan as soon as they roll out their new offers.....gotta love free market competition!

My account was fully paid off and up to date at the time of the call. Nearly a month later, I discovered I was still being charged. When I called back to investigate, a different representative claimed I was charged because I canceled in the middle of a billing cycle. This contradicts exactly what I was told during my initial cancellation. Astound needs to honor the original agreement made by their representative and refund these unauthorized charges.

We recently moved to Corpus Christi from N/W Indiana & my wife & I decided to switch our cell phone service to Spectrum. Our previous carrier was Comcast Xfinity, and they were a complete nightmare to deal with. I spent 3 1/2 hrs on the phone with Comcast the day before simply trying to unlock our phones, and was given a unlock code. After arriving at the Spectrum store, it turns out the phones were not unlocked & the codes didn't work. Frank Lopez and Monica Musella-Robledo worked with us for well over an hour, most of the time on hold with Comcast, and were finally able to get the job done. I really appreciate the patience of both of them. I strongly recommend anyone needing Cable/internet and cell phone service give Spectrum a try.

The owner used quality parts and was methodical in his repair work, to a top level of worth. With just that fine touch, all the local channels were coming in at five bars now. I further had him splice the run to serve a bedroom adjacent to the main den. He tied it in and made the older gear perform flawlessly. It is so nice to have a mom & pop operation that know what they are doing and provide Grade A work and do it highly affordably. I hope they are around for years to come in this business role.

They transfer you around to every person in India, and nothing gets accomplished. They keep billing every month even after you request disconnect. They say they have sent a retrieval box for the equipment but they dont. Then they keep billing for months after. I finally boxed up the equipment myself and paid to have it shipped back. Customer service refused to give me an address to do this. Finally got it from a local installer. I have spent close to 1k for services at an address I have not lived at for a year, shipping fees as well as lost time from work due to being placed on hold for hours. Stay as far away from these scammers as possible. Oh and they also add on special packages throughout the year and do not tell you. If you do not cancel in a week your bill goes up by hundreds of dollars.

I am currently a DirecTV customer. I am working to end that relationship very soon. In November…read more2021, I renegotiated my contract with DirecTV to maintain my same service for $100 per month. When I got my bill in January 2022, it was $120. I figured there were some renewal fees and thought nothing of it. However, when my February bill was also $120, I called DirecTV. I was informed that I was not on a contract. I informed the call-taker that we did indeed have a contract that started in November 2021. The call-taker informed me that there was no contract and that DirecTV had increased its prices in January 2022. I said that our agreement was for $100 not $120. The call-taker was adamant that the $120 was a legitimate rate. I informed her that DirecTV violated our contract which is illegal in all 51 jurisdictions in the U.S. There is probably nothing that will happen to DirecTV or it's parent company, AT&T, over this since I'm only one customer. I am cutting the satellite cord and informing others of my experience with this corporate Goliath. Be warned and cut the cable/satellite while you can.
