Some of the best coffee in Denver! Love this newer location, because it has a bit more room (and parking) than their other location. Love their seasonal lattes, and the earl grey loaf!

Congrats to Lavender Coffee for adding a new location!! When Caribou Coffee closed, I was sad. The spot had been vacant for quite some time but just this morning, I received a text message from Lavender Coffee about their newest location. When I checked it to see where it was, I was shocked to find out that it's the very ex-Caribou location. I got excited so I wasted no time to rush to it. This new location (like the Pearl St location) has so much chicness to it. Very modern. And it's almost like an art gallery at a glance. All those framed art decorations are nicely displayed in one spot on the wall; its interior design is that of a museum. Baked goods are plenty; both sweet and savory kinds. I asked the lady upfront which ones were which. I decided to go with the Turkey kind. For a drink I boringly decided to go with my usual: doppio. I need to be a bit more adventurous to try out something I have never tried before. It's okay; I can always go back to it in a few weeks. By then, I am pretty sure that their exterior signage will be a permanent one. As of this writing, I have not tried my coffee or the pastry so there is more to come in this review. Yet I have no doubt that both of them will be as delicious and wonderful as the ones I had purchased at their Pearl St location. Well, this new location might become my go-to coffee shop moving forward. People/readers, you got to check it out soon!! P.S. Now that I am home, I am adding this little piece of information after I consumed the turkey pastry and doppio. As I had anticipated earlier, the quality of the pastry and coffee was top notch. The turkey chunk inside the croissant was dense/thick. The doppio was something I was able to enjoy with the half and half from my fridge. Tasted very clean indeed. I didn't know this until today; Lavender Coffee is a Denver-roasted coffee company that their coffee is low acid. And they are also equipped with certified mold free certification. Not only that, their approach is wellness-minded. What's not to love a place like Lavender Coffee, right??

So excited to have a new lavender right down the street!! We love the quality of their drinks and that did not change at their second location. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful. Make sure to get their seasonal maple latte while it's still there!

This location just opened! There is plenty of parking in the lot and seating inside. Seating for conversation and seating to work on laptops with outlets. They make all of the syrups in house and they are delicious! The chai is incredible. All of the staff were super friendly especially Magnolia!

BUT OH MY GOODNESS - I THINK THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM PLACE IN DENVER. I bought 2 pints and they were so delicious. Perfectly creamy ice cream with a TON of mix-ins if you like that. I think getting the pint is the best way to experience their ice cream, especially if you love mix-ins and toppings. Street parking but it's not impossible to find a spot within 2-3 blocks. So some of our group started with their ice cream while we waited. There was only one person cooking and one running the front - and I do mean running. She didn't even have time to take a breath! Their ice cream is definitely their star. The flavors are creative and delicious and the toppings craveworthy. I've had their burgers before at a pop up and they were wonderful. That wasn't the case today. I'm betting that was due to there only being one cook and a large crowd. I'm not sure why they were so understaffed on a warm weekend day but it definitely effected the food quality. All of our burgers were way overcooked and greasy. I had to wipe the grease off the top of my bun before I ate some. The fries were pretty good but cold. They only have 4 small tables outside for seating and all the tables were pretty dirty. There was also a lot of trash on the ground. So I bumped my rating to 4 stars because of the ice cream and the front of house staff person. I don't think I'd order food there again though.

You really can't go wrong. The mini sulbing is good for an individual, the regular size is great for sharing! The fish buns are also highly recommended. It's a bit impersonal in that you don't have to interact with anyone at all - order at the kiosk and when your order is ready, your order number will appear on the board - ready to pick up your tray for dine-in or bag for a to-go order. It would even be a good place to study/work since it's pretty quiet. inside.

I wanted something different from cookies or donuts and thought Beard Papa's was the perfect opportunity for the office to try something new. The 24 minis (original flavor) for $30 was a good compromise and figured it would give each office personnel a little taste of these cream puffs. The filing options are: strawberry, vanilla, green tea, and chocolate. Yum! The associate was nice, it was clean inside and plenty of parking in the shopping complex. There are stairs to consider if you visit the store. Beard Papa's also offers catering! Go check them out if you need a sweet treat for yourself or an office. The staff weren't especially welcoming, but honestly, that was okay. We were there for cupcakes, not a red carpet rollout. The icing was definitely the highlight - good, but nothing extraordinary. The real letdown was the cake itself, which was dry across the board. The minis were especially dry, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. On top of that, the flavors just didn't stand out. Nothing really wowed us or left a lasting impression.
