It gives off the vibes of an old apothecary - featuring wood shelves to the ceiling filled with a canister filled with loose leaf tea that the baristas need a ladder to reach, SO many cozy nooks to read, work or catch up with friends. Half the store is a little shop selling unique tea goods old and new. ++ Staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu is massive and offers more than just drinks but alcohol cocktails, loose leave tea by the pound and more. The girl behind the counter helped us narrow down our interests and flavor profiles to help us choose drinks to order. ++ Pricing is on point and reasonable. I will say, the main negative for me was the tea was overall, just MEH to me. I ordered a Thai Tea with boba, and it was definitely not what I thought it would be. It tasted like watered down dirt - but the boba was fun. My husband thought his orange tea was average at best and could use some sweetener. Just some newbie tea drinkers, I guess. in-TEA is the cutest little tea shop in the heart of Historic Downtown Littleton, that features over 170 teas and blends, tea-infused cocktails, beer, wine, sake, locally produced baked goods, and all-natural organic sandwiches, salads, and paninis. They offer tea classes, flights, tastings, community events, open-mic poetry nights, private parties, and a knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly staff. I was amazed at the flavors and selection of tea blends that covers the back wall and they have a moving ladder to reach all of them. They had a menu of "tea cocktails" which I was intrigued and who says you can't enjoy a cocktail at 9:00 a.m. There were so many flavor options available that I was having trouble making up my mind and I was talking to the employee who helped me decide between the Wild Cherry tea or cordial cherry hot toddy. He provided advice about the best type of milk for the beverage. The service was very friendly and attentive and I was able to pay with Apple Pay. I ordered a "tea cocktail" the Cordial Cherry Hot Toddy with cherry almond tea, amaretto and cherry garnish. It was very flavorful and tasted like a balanced blend of cherries and almond. I also saw a variety of pastries all which were gluten free. I ordered the blueberry financier pastry, a small, moist French almond cake, traditionally rectangular to resemble a gold bar, made with almond flour, brown butter (beurre noisette), egg whites, and sugar, resulting in a crisp exterior and tender interior. It had a blueberry frosting and filling and was absolutely delightful. I was able to relax and enjoy my tea and pastry in the comfortable nook seating area. The shop was decorated with trinkets and holiday decor for a festive vibe. They also have a variety of merchandise for sale including tea sets. They offer an incredible variety of teas from all over the world -- literally floor-to-ceiling shelves of options! I love that they also have variety packs so you can try a bunch of different ones. Had such a nice time cowering here and the tea selection is so vast! As soon as you walk in and relieve yourself from the cold, there's a warm feeling inviting you in, with cubbies full of tea jars all the way to the ceiling behind the counter and a ladder on wheels to help the staff reach tea that's 12ft in the air. The tea is divided by type - green, black, etc. and the options are endless. Heidi helped us out and she was amazing, making recommendations and bringing down jars for us to smell before we order. I opted to start with the coconut vanilla and Heidi recommended i add in some condensed milk and I'm so glad i did. It was smooth and delicious, served with a cute kettle for a few refills. They have a good amount of seating in the main room with a second, quieter room in the back with larger tables and some comfy armchairs. We stayed for a few hours and ended up trying other teas as well, i had a boba with a rooibos and it was so yummy also. Love the area, took a little break and walked to a spice shop nearby, there's lots of businesses on this strip to meander through if you're in the area already. Thanks! Oh my Wow! Can I move into this place? So many amazing things. The ambience is lovely. A retreat from the real world right in downtown Littleton. Two cozy front nooks and a vast menu. I recommend your tea with one of their oatmeal raisin cookies procured from a local bakery. They even have tea cocktails if you're in for something a little extra. Bro this place is so freaking good. The smell alone is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Absolute favorite combo to get is spiced apple pie rooibos with condensed milk and toasted marshmallow syrup and tapioca boba. Would highly recommend that combo, I mainly get it iced but I'm gonna try it hot the next time I go. Plus they've got honey sticks! In like 8 flavors! The ones I can remember are watermelon, mango, orange, root beer, orange, clove, and lemon. They're $0.50 per or 10 for $4. I usually grab them in batches of 20 and just have them throughout the day. I think you're supposed to put them in your tea but I just like to crack them open with my teeth and have them raw. Anyways, sick tea spot, super cozy, and amazing service. Does get pretty crowded on weekends, but that's basically just them suffering from success. read more

This cozy tea shop in Littleton is a new -to-me favorite spot for meeting with friends. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful and the environment is fun but relaxed. My son is thrilled that they have an "Avatar" selection of drinks, plus boba. I like the little teapots and cups with which the tea is served, the huge selection, and the laid back atmosphere. If you are actually walking into this business, then you will get a good quality tea, one you asked for. BUYER BEWARE, though, if you order online. Early last year my husband and I came to this shop and bought the Jasmine Silver Needles loose tea. It was excellent. We've never paid so much for tea but my husband loved it. For Christmas all we asked our kids for (who live a few miles from In Tea) was a gift card for In Tea. We used it to call the store and order about $50 worth of Jasmine needles loose tea. When we got it, we opened it up and there was almost none of the Jasmine scent. When we made it, it tasted nothing like the tea we had bought earlier from them. I emailed the store - twice - telling them what we had experienced and asked them to please make it right and sent us a fresh batch of the tea. I offered to send them -at our expense- the batch we had received so they could see for themselves the tea wasn't right. No one in over a month has bothered to reply. They obviously are not interested in customer service unless the customer is face to face with them. Think twice before you order online from them. read more

I wish I could give lower than one star. The only redeeming part of this tea shop was that the atmosphere was nice and cozy. HOWEVER, the tea was clearly very watered down, I asked for an iced Chai and they gave me a hot Chai. At the register, the guy serving me asked if I wanted it iced TWICE, to which I replied "yes!" Now for the worst part of my experience - the man at the register was clearly on drugs, and could not stop talking AT me, while saying absolutely nothing at the same time. He described every movement he was going through, such as handing me back my card, putting in the price, and just being generally annoying as if he were on a plethora of stimulants. Furthermore, through his whilwind of unnecessary questions and statements, he still got my order wrong. I went here with high hopes, looking to find a new tea spot! I absolutely love this shop! They have so many different loose tea options and they all taste amazing. I've been shopping here a few years now and have gotten so many people hooked on it. The staff here are super nice as well and are very knowledgeable about their product. They also have several rotating flavors for the seasons and just like the other flavors they are phenomenal! They offer fresh brewed of their flavors as well as selling the loose leaf separately. This is one of my favorite places in Denver. I've become a tea nerd and this is tea nerd paradise. They are so knowledgeable and fastidious about preparing tea properly. I feel like I'm in a tea library when I'm there. My go to is decaf Earl grey iced. I buy absurd amounts of it loose leaf and also get their decaf black and add my own bergamot to it. It's 35 minutes from my house so it's an excursion for me, but I stock up for home tea and get an expertly brewed tea with boba for the trouble and hang out in the homey environment, and hopefully absorb some of the professor level tea wisdom up in here. read more
