*** Critics Review *** Awesome!! Definitely Go!!! This is the most quaint and fabulous place. So cool. Known for their hot chocolate and incredible yum-yum's (as I call them!). I'm totally hooked on their chocolate covered cherries!! My favorite. The chocolate blueberries are good too. There is definitely something there for every chocolate lover. Likely at a higher quality than you are used to. And you will find things you have never experienced before as well. Special shout out to their Manager, Claire. So nice to know. Definitely someone to say hi to. ENJOY!!!!! Score: 12/10

Small cute shop surrounded with abundance of local handcrafted chocolate. I chose a package of salted caramel chocolate that was mouthwatering while my partner chose dark chocolate turtle. There was street parking and the place had a few tables inside and also outside to sit and enjoy the chocolate. The cashier was very nice and let us have a sample of pieces of chocolate.

I didn't get any REAL chocolate but the hot chocolate is rich, filling, decadent, etc. A small cup will fill you up FAST.

Right in the heart of Littleton downtown on the Main Street; the exterior sign will grab your attention for sure!

What a lovely chocolatier to say the least! This cute little shop never disappoints. And this afternoon, I got together with my dear friends and spent some fun time pairing wines and chocolates. Can you think of a better way yo spend a Wednesday afternoon?? Really!!! The young lady upfront was so welcoming and informative about the pairing thing you can do (fyi - this is not a class.) You purchase a wine card that gets loaded with money and you use it as you go at the wine dispenser. There are three pour sizes from swirl to sip to savor. If you load your wine card, you should definitely load it at least $10 then the store will give you additional $5 free of charge. How generous!! The best ways to pair the chocolates with the wines are on the little digital screen at each wine spout so you should definitely follow that. Chocolate pieces can be chosen from 5 pieces up to 15. Each tier is reasonably priced. Currently the wines are Pinot Noir, Syrah Blend, (organic) Cabernet Sauvignon (my favorite) and Port. Excellent line up to entertain you with so many different chocolate options to choose from. We girls couldn't be happier and our stay got extended to beyond the store's business hours but they never rushed us to leave. They were extremely accommodating to our needs. Hence, the customer service here is top notch!! A local business like the Chocolate Therapist should be our top priority for support. As much as we do utilize big chains from time to time, we should pay more undue attention to businesses that exist in our close proximity. This quaint place deserves a lot of respect from us the Coloradans!! I mean WINE not, right??

Chocolate Mocha with Two Shots of Espresso

I'm a BIG chocolate lover, so I decided to swing on by this cute cozy little shop for some coffee. I've been trying to find a chocolate mocha that compared to another coffee shop in Breckenridge that I love as well. The staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The chocolate mocha was recommended to me which had two shots of espresso. I got my drink and it was good but overly sweet (dessert sweet based on comment made from staff). However, the chocolates there were really good, I enjoyed the chocolate bars. Overall The Chocolate Therapist is sweet treat of a place to stop by at when in the area.

Oh my goodness, I've died and gone to chocolate confection heaven!! Even with masks on, one can smell the sweet and delectable cocoa bean, roasting into beautiful concoctions that even Charlie and his Umpah Loopahs would be envious of. Chocolate covered apples, blueberries, raisins and the like and gifts that would be suitable for out of towners (there is a chocolate bar designed with the state flag). I grabbed a nice box of goodies for the girls to share on our upcoming weekend getaway. Stay a bit to learn about the process and sample a nib or two (or five).

So here I am to say how amazing this bakery is, despite not having pictures to post. Born2Bake is everything you want in a bakery and coffee shop. They are a locally owned small businesses making things from scratch and you can tell how much care went into your food every time you visit. The pastries are fresh, expertly made, and there is a lot of variety from croissants, to savory breakfast items to some really decadent cakes. It's located in downtown Littleton, and the inside ambiance is a cozy and welcoming environment to either stop in for a coffee and some pastries to go or sit down at one of their tables. The people who work there are always friendly and welcoming as well. It's just the sort of place we love to visit and support!

I guess I should have inquired about their "freshness" but didn't know I would have to as all other bakeries sell old cupcakes as "day old" with a reduced price. It is the transparent, smart thing to do. To inform your customers exactly what they're buying and not try to pass off the old cupcakes as fresh at full price. I was so disappointed that I have decided. I will no longer purchase any treats from this establishment and will drive to Centennial to cake heads. Be aware! Always ask about their freshness or you're throwing money in the trash and it's super unfortunate

And I'm happy to say that I enjoyed today's visit tremendously. What a large selection of chocolates they have! And everything is neatly placed and displayed. I simply had a hard time choosing as to what I'd get. Yup, you have to make at least several trips to get to know what the store sells but even after the several trips, you would only cover 30-40% (at the most) of their selection (is my assumption.) The lady at the counter was courteous and offered to assist me if needed; service is top-notch. I got me a bar of chocolate (thought I grabbed dark but ended up with milk; this was okay!); a few caramels; a few square truffles and a single square of some simple milk chocolate piece. The total came about $18 with some change. Not bad. Along with the cap I got from the next door coffee shop, I started to savor the two truffles in my car. Palisade Peach was phenomenal; Mango Chili was delicious, too but I liked the Palisade Peach better. And the decorative printing on top of the truffle pieces was simply a beautiful piece of art. At home, I had a few pieces of the milk chocolate bar (violet). The violet flavor was subtle and as such, I didn't taste it much but overall, this is a very delicious bar to say the least. I'd definitely try the rose flavor one next time (there was also blueberry lavender flavor one; there should be more I believe.) It's not just for yourself; it's a great place to buy some sweets as a gift! Great for holidays!

I thought maybe I got an old bag or something, but the "best by" date was like almost 2 months in the future (which means it probably wasn't old). It wasn't the worst kettle corn I ever had by any means, but it might be the worst if you make up a metric like goodness to cost ratio. They have a huge variety of flavors, so that's really neat. They also have plenty of samples of various flavors, so try before you buy. In a pinch or moment of uninspired indecision, I could see these popcorn products making it into a rotation of generic holiday or special occasion gifts. Perhaps somewhere in the line up between summer sausage set and assorted chocolate.
