Are You Flipping Serious. 5 stars.....let me tell ya a few factors about whom your calling buddy. Oh yea, one BadAss bike. Didn't even make it home. 1- asked if it was safe, the amount of play in handle bars. Oh yea, you'll be ok. Bolt sheared off holding bars study after 20 mins. Didn't even make it home. 2- fender cutting into side wall of tire. No one bothered to roll ,or cut lip protruding inward. 3- bought a tail light n tag placement combo that says stop on lens. No stop on lens or placement for tag. 4-paid for metallic blue paint job; and got simply dark navy blue. A-you give this guy 5 stars knowing the hassle n broken deadlines. And B- after the bullshit n scams you pulled. .you got the nerve to call me like we're buddies and ask how the ride home went. WTF......Now I've got the bike, $3500 later, and can't even ride it....till I make the proper adjustments. . read more

With so few places to pick bike parts from. It's either very expensive new Harley accessories from Adamec or parts off the internet you're really not sure if it's gonna fit your bike. I met Jeff in 2012 and bought a '80 sporty from him before the shop even opened. Great guy. This bike was all of what I was looking for to start my custom build. A couple of years go by and I'm still looking for parts around town, when low and behold. Dirtbag Choppers opened. Originally on Mayport rd. Has moved a few times, but has always had the best selection of unique chopper parts to your hearts content. Just bring your bike and imagination. And if your a true grease monkey, you can have yourself some repurposed parts for your own chopper build. Harley or not. Having the parts in your hand and a price you can clearly see. I compare it to a motorcycle swap meet. One time I needed some carb gaskets and a timing cup for the ignition and he just gave them to me. You'll never know what you'll find unless you bring your bike to see if it'll fit. No judgement man. If you have a chopper project, I highly recommend coming to see the the place. This shop lives up to its name. I bought a Sportster in May 2019 and still don't have a title that I can register. The owner ignores my calls and emails and leaves me no choice but to seek legal help. Beware, they DO NOT have a dealer's license. Hopefully the Florida Attorney General's Office can help me. Called "Butcher Brothers" across Jacksonville. My husband put his '76 Shovelhead in the shop after being told it could be rebuilt in a timely manner. The bike had some used and new parts in a box that needed put properly on the bike. My husband hollowed it out and was rebuilding. However, after 1 year of Jeff working on it, it is completely destroyed. We now have to sell his dad's bike (who passed away few years ago). Originally Brad was working on it, but after telling us "it's just another bike. I need to do quick jobs for money", we switched to Jeff working on it. He was consistently incorrect with time needed to fix and using "used parts" without asking us. After getting the bike back 3-4 times, each time something dangerous happened driving it from the shop: clutch lever bolt popped off, chain tensioner bolt popped off, front axel bolt popped off, head gasket leaked 2 different times, front cylinder leak, rear cylinder leak in jug (purchased brand new one), exhaust bolt threading came out of casing, oil pan was not mounted in (only head by primary casing), a quart of oil in primary casing on a dry clutch, headlight disconnected, no air filter in carbonator, clutch pack redone but still slipped, screw in front sprocket causing to knock against the back side of primary causing scratch grooves into primary and pulling main shaft loose, no L key locking in spline to front primary, and small other things overlooked when they put together. Driving the bike not even a mile these things happened and almost caused serious damage to my husband and myself. We spent a couple thousand to have rebuilt after owner agreed he could fix it in a timely manner (he told us a few weeks). If you need your bike worked on go to Black Gold (in Daytona) and One at a Time (Jacksonville). They are honest mechanics who will give you and your bike respect. Since we are young, Dirtbag thought my husband did not know anything about his bike (he's worked at a Harley shop for over a year) and talked to us as so. My husband would've worked on it if we had the tools and didn't move to Florida from a different state. It is such a shame to have so much damage, time, and money into a bike that means a lot to us. We paid everything up front and were respectful. When asked for invoices and time of completion, it took several calls before we would receive one. If you have to take your bike here, don't just sell it. I know of another Shovelhead owner that had their bike there for 3 years who made payments! Their reputation is shot in Jacksonville so just don't go there. read more
