This is a nice neighborhood joint that's popular among the locals. They offer a wonderful of daily flavors besides the usual chocolate and vanilla frozen custard flavors. Their menu offerings including individual scoops, concrete, Sundays, floats, etc. Their pricing is reasonable. The frozen custard is pretty decent in taste and texture. It's a counter service place where you walk up to a window to place your order and do pick up at another window. They also have a drive-thru. The sitting area is on the outside with limited benches. This establishment gets packed on hot days and at peak hours. Check them out.

Love this place! Been coming here for the last 7 or 8 years! I came here on a Saturday night (Sat. 5/30, at around 7:30)--their lot was full! It was mostly families with kids there, but I only waited in line for 5 minutes and only waited for my order for another 5 minutes! I usually order the Triple Chocolate Concrete with every type of almond and nut they have--it was so wonderfully fresh, smooth, creamy, and deliciously nutty!! There is no indoor dining for this place but they've got some outdoor picnic tables you can eat at! However, just about every table was already taken by all the families with kids, so I just ate in my truck (which was fine, since it was a bit chilly outside)! Anyway, I will definitely be back!! So glad this place is still going strong!!

This is a family-owned custard shop. Everyone there is friendly, it is very clean, and the custard is amazing! They hire kids from high school, where they teach them to be very customer focused. It is very family and dog-friendly! Ask for a "pup cup" if your dog likes whipped cream. When we had a dog, she loved coming here! Since my 1st review, we have been going to Comet Custard 1-2 days a week, typically. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't yet. Every day they have a flavor of the day, where you can ask for a sample. They also have vanilla and chocolate. They have so many great sundaes too, or you can make-up your own. You can also take home pints and quarts of various flavors. They close for the winter, around Thanksgiving, but you can pre-order special "holiday" flavors including my favorite Peppermint Stick Chip. It is a smooth peppermint flavor custard, with thin chocolate "chips" or pieces. If you want actual peppermint pieces in it, you need to request that ahead of time. So amazing!

Love this place. Although close to my home, I did not try for a few years. A friend told me it's better than the famous custard place from Wisconsin (didn't believe that). During Covid, Haagen Daz disappointed me with scaling down the butterfat in their recipes, and increasing their prices. Our motto is we want a great product and understand that quality costs a little more. I loved their coffee ice cream but refuse to buy their currently inferior product. Comet has replaced that now. They make wonderful coffee custard! I need to buy 3 pints and hide one in the extra fridge from my husband if I want some. When Mom came to live with us when she developed dementia, I wanted to bring her as much joy as possible. Comet filled that dream. My Mom could devour their turtle sundae in just a few blocks - she would inhale it before we returned home. Also, Culvers has been nice enough to put aside pints of plain coffee custard. I will notice when they are making a coffee - and just ask if they can reserve for me. Their vanilla and chocolate are Heaven too. They also make a wonderful Butter Brickle (difficult to find these days). Their staff is very courteous and pleasant.

We' be driven past Comet Frozen Custard fora couple of years and have never tried it. I honestly don't know why. This is the cutest ice cream shop around! The building is clean, there are plenty of tables to sit at outside and under the awnings and the restrooms are conveniently located. This is the best remodel of an old gas station I have ever seen. There are a hundred delicious options, from a simple cone to sundaes, concrete mixers, shakes and malts and banana splits, to name a few. We went in a Thursday afternoon and the place was pretty busy. We thought perhaps we might have to wait a bit but the staff are super cute and friendly, got our order in and the wait time was null. This is truly a Rolling Meadows treasure.

Cute cute hangout spot with fun retro vibes for warm summer nights where you want to be out... but not hanging at a random Circle K or 7-Eleven, right Bill? Totally Ted. Um, I'm not a fan of overly sweet ice cream, so I had their "Dole" something... it's a mildly pineapple-ish cup of custard. It was okay. I prefer yogurt or gelato with a citrus kick, so I was not a fan, but the teenage customer service was good.

This is the best custard that I have ever had! All of their menu items are great! This shop seems as though it is run by a family and everyone is so nice and their service is so fast even when they are busy. The store itself is very cute with a sort of old school diner feel for custard. They also have a drive though where they have you wait in a parking spot and bring out your order. Ive been going here at least once a week and will continue to do so as it is that good! P.S. They also open for a day during the holidays to purchase to go pints in their holiday flavors. My favorite is eggnog!

Ok, it's been a bit and it's time to update my review. After they briskly opened, they learned and grew from why the customer wanted. They have converted the old garage space from the previous building to an indoor walk up, which was needed. Their drive through system is efficient and their outdoor walk up is just as efficient. They have a lot of flavors, including the flavors of the day. They now have chocolate custard and goes great with their mint Oreo or even peanut butter chocolate custard . They are also handling COVID quite well with their drove up service. The lines go out to Kirchoff when you wait for the drive though, but it goes fast! I do wish they had two sizes of concretes. The One size they have is too large and I don't want to pay $7 for something that I'm not going to fully eat (although, I end up paying the $7 for the concrete because I always go back). It's great quality, so it's worth it, but I would like a choice in siz. I'm glad they're here to stay, this place is a new staple in Rolling Meadows.

Too young to f***" I walked into Daisy's, looked behind the counter, and immediately felt like Chris Hansen was going to rappel through the ceiling. The P.O.A. Index wasn't merely unavailable, it had been confiscated by the State of Illinois, sealed in an evidence bag, and transported somewhere my lawyer strongly advised me not to follow. Everyone working there looked so young that instead of wondering whether anyone was attractive, I started wondering when everyone's mother was coming to pick them up. One girl asked what flavor I wanted and I nearly replied, "Whatever people ate before you were born." This wasn't an ice cream run anymore. This was a mortality check. I entered Daisy's as a reasonably youthful man looking for dessert and walked out mentally pricing burial plots and wondering whether Costco sells Metamucil by the pallet. Fortunately, the ice cream was excellent... except for the non-sensical names. Besides the one labeled "smores" it was like trying to decide the enigma machine from WWII. If one can decipher the flavors... the ice cream is rich, creamy, enormous portions, exactly the kind of old-school neighborhood ice cream that makes you temporarily forget you've apparently become old enough to have employees serving you who don't remember a world before smartphones. Five stars... begrudgingly. I went in wanting a cone. I came out eligible for a reverse mortgage.
