If your dog requires a breed specific cut (or any aspect of a breed specific cut) I recommend you go elsewhere. My only request for my Yorkie was to have her ears tipped, so the tops of her ears would be shaved to show off the point. Instead they mangled my dogs poor face hair and didn't even do the ears like I wanted. :( Her face looks terrible. I didn't think my dog could ever be ugly (because she's the most beautiful girl in the world) yet now she is. There were still eye boogies caught in her mustache and she didn't even smell good! I don't know if she wasn't bathed or what happened but she just smells like her normal self. Super weird. Luckily hair grows back but to not be able to fulfill one simple grooming request is sad. Then there was the fact that I was very very worried about my senior dog slipping (she's going to be 13) so I made sure to tell them multiple times that she needed extra care so as to not be on slick surfaces..... I brought a blanket for her to be on and her special grippy socks. When I arrived to pick her up the socks were still behind the counter and when she was brought out they had her walking on the slick vinyl/linoleum/whatever it is sans booties. It's one thing to not listen to a simple grooming request but it's quite another when my dog's health and safety is being disregarded. Please don't get me wrong, everyone I interacted with there seemed like the most lovely people and so many people recommended them. If this review was just based on how sweet the staff was it would be way different because -especially the front desk gal- was wonderful to deal with. But I can't justify stressing out my old girl for the kind of haircut she received.

I will be forever grateful to the AMAZING staff at Dirty Pawz!!! We have been a customer for a while and have always been thrilled with the service we receive, but today I called in need of an emergency appointment to de-skunk my two huskies. They had a run in with a skunk the night before and both got fully sprayed. Not only did Dirty Pawz come to the rescue, my huskies smell amazing and look fantastic as always! THANK YOU is just not enough to show my gratitude for this team and saving us from smelling like skunks for weeks!

Found this place on Yelp. So glad that I did. I took my 14.5 week toy poodle for her spa day and I couldn't be happier with Dirty Pawz! Every aspect was a pleasure, from booking my appointment all the way to me picking my fur baby up! I like that they don't kennel the dogs while they're being serviced, giving them time to play around and such! The ladies are such sweethearts and it shows just how much they love what they do! If you're looking for a place to pamper your pet, stop by Dirty Pawz.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. They make our two little Lhasa Apsos look absolutely GAWGEOUS!! Our girls hate leaving the house and shake all the way to the vet the groomer the grocery store...well you get it. But when we get to Dirty Pawz they stop and just start sniffing around. The people here are so good with dogs. Oh yeah - you can TEXT them to get an appointment. Sooo convenient - and their new establishment is so very cool. Here's our girls from the most recent visit. (It was 20 degrees outside so my husband was trying to keep both of the warm).

The staff did an amazing job! Super easy, & quick! They respect your needs for your animals. I told them exactly what I wanted for my puppy's grooming and they nailed it 100%!!!! Reasonable pricing and they give u a bandanna or a bow after the appointment I recommend this shop 100%! I Definitely will be returning for future appointments!

Absolutely love this place! The owner Nikki and her staff are super helpful, friendly and did an absolute wonderful job with our Goldendoodle. He was a bit overdue and we were nervous to take him in but they put our minds at ease and really took the time to make sure he was comfortable and looks great! I couldn't be happier and look forward to our next visit!!

Our dogs stayed at Sweet Paws from 5/22-5/31/2026. When I picked them up their beds were covered in…read moredry urine (not a fresh accident) which is not common behavior for them. Their nails which I paid to be trimmed were still very long and they appeared to be highly stressed. The treats we sent for them were also untouched. I contacted Sweet paws the next day to get a better understanding of what happened. When speaking with their staff I was informed that my dogs nails were cut with a dull dremel and they just got a new one if I wanted to bring them back "for free" and also that they urinated their beds nightly. Being that this is highly unusual behavior I asked for more information on their bathroom schedule and was told the last opportunity they are given to use the washroom is between 530-6pm and then everyone leaves for the night and doesn't return until 6am. They informed me they know this is a long time and are trying to get more staff to stay later which does nothing for my dogs that spent 9 nights alone for 12 hours without the opportunity to use the washroom or be cared for. This is cruel and neglectful at the very least. It is widely known that dogs should not be left alone for 12 hours physiologically and mentally, being that your business is caring for animals, you should absolutely know better and to chose to run your business this way is negligent. Update: I spoke with Terry who manages Sweet Paws along with several other facilities but typically lives out of state. I was informed this is industry standard for dogs to be left extended periods of time without the opportunity to use the washroom, and that other facilities are not likely not being truthful if they say otherwise. Terry was misinformed about my dog's neutered status and suggested that not being neutered is the reason for their accidents (both of my dogs are neutered and have been since I adopted them). Heavy focus of the conversation was "educating" me on what the norm is for boarding facilities since my dogs have never boarded before despite having explained I have family who have a history of working in the business for many years. Terry suggested that I never board my dogs again anywhere. When I would repeat back information that was told to me I was told I was twisting their words instead of highlighting issues in the information that was being told to me. For example, I was told word for word that they don't have staff later because in the past staff that stayed later did nothing. When I replied that is an internal management issue and should not fall on the customer or pets, I was told I was twisting her words. In the end Terry did say she would bring this concern to the owners and see how they could improve but it's hard to believe since I was told over and over that this is the standard and I should not have expected more. What I hoped for was an honest apology and understanding that this is not okay. What I received was an apology quickly followed up by excuses and repeatedly told "this is the norm" Terry encouraged me to not beat myself up and to be grateful they are okay because some facilities lose the dogs in their care. So you can take information as their bottom line. At the end of the day, if you get your dog back that should be enough.

Have been bringing my dog here for years and loved it. But now with their new policy of not…read moreincluding play time in the boarding price, I'm not so sure. Unless you pay extra for daycare they only get out of their cages for 10-15 minute potty breaks and only if it's a nice day.
