This was my first visit with my puppy, Knuckles, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! My friend Ashley recommended this dog grooming spa, and I'm so glad she did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome by Lindsey (I believe that was her name). The front of the house was very clean, and as another pup was leaving, it was obvious they had been well cared for and were happy. Since this was Knuckles' very first grooming appointment, I was a little nervous, but the entire team was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with him. When I picked him up, he looked adorable wearing a cute bandana, smelled amazing, and his coat was so soft and fluffy. As a corgi owner, I know their coats require special care, and they did a fantastic job! It's clear the staff genuinely loves what they do and treats every pet like family. Brought our 5 month old Goldendoodle puppy Layla in for her first ever grooming and Jen did such an amazing job cleaning her up. She's never looked better! We had been taking our dog for grooming at Just For Paws for about a year. She is an apprehensive rescue dog, and they were very well aware that she would need careful attention. We had always indicated that we were not particular about how well she was groomed and were happy to pay more based on the additional time it may take. We just wanted her to be cleaned up and comfortable. At her last visit 3 months ago, she incurred a neck injury by the noose strap as determined by the vet's observation of the x-ray. We sent the initial bill to the owner John and asked for reimbursement...only for that initial office visit and the prescribed medication. Without consulting our vet, John decided he was not going to pay the most expensive portion of the vet bill and without any further correspondence sent a check. We reached out to him again and he has never responded and has never paid the remaining amount of the bill. Sadly, we have been back to the vet three times and have had been prescribed anti-inflammatory and pain medication 4 times since her grooming appointment. We have not requested reimbursement for the additional vet visits and medication. Nor have we requested reimbursement for the 2 sets of dog stairs that we have had to purchase for her, the gates that we have had to purchase to block her from going up and down stairs to avoid re-injury, or the time that we are now investing into retraining her with her mobility requirements. Our dog still struggles with her injury incurred by Just for Paws and her mobility is now compromised. The vet indicated that this will be an injury that we may very well have to deal with for the rest of her life. We are heartbroken. read more

Despite my nervous dog that had to be all but carried back to the grooming area, the entire team was nothing but gracious. I thought the prices were reasonable and I appreciated that my dog's hair had been carefully blown out (with other groomers she's been stuck in a cage dryer and her back end fur always stands up). Newer to area. Noticed this place not far from the new house and stopped in to check it out. We have an older dog that used to stress and almost fear going to the groomers. It's not always a matter of the staff but the environment as well. Well, the store and staff at Just for Paws are so welcoming\calming, that we booked an appointment for our dog. They did a great job and are they treated her so well that it was the first grooming appointment she's had in 11 years that didn't stress her out. (We've had our dog back a few more times with a consistent great experience) The staff are really so nice that you almost want to stay and chat! Wow! My dog Rio's spa day was just amazing. She has such anxiety and everyone there made her feel right at home. They took such good care of her, and she looks gorgeous. I inadvertently transposed my cell phone and they could not reach me when Rio was ready to go. She ended up getting anxious and they treated her to a special spot behind the counter where she could glory in all the compliments and she was just fine. I am sure it was very nerve wracking for them, but they made it a non-issue and acted like it was no big deal and did not make me feel at all like the loser I was for leaving them hanging for so long. John and his crew treat our dogs like they are their own. We could not be happier with the knowledge of everyone at Just for Paws, on the breeds of dog we have and what type of services are best for them. We will never go anywhere else as long as Just for Paws is open. I've been taking my Lhasa apso here for over 3 years and just recently my Malshi pup and have nothing but great things to say, everyone is so friendly. At first I thought I had found a caring and attentive veterinarian office. However this is the second time that I have called and tried to get my dog in for something that he has been suffering with for some time and have been told twice that it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they could get him in. At least my last veterinarian when you called would try to work a dog in if it was an emergency. It's usually standard practice to take your dog to their vet before you take them to a specialist, but I can't even get a work in appointment. Both times the receptionist was far from being helpful and even on the verge of being rude. If you care about your dog I definitely would not recommend this veterinary service. read more

Make sure to book your appointment when you check out, it can get tough to get an appointment if you forget to do so. That is just a testament to the good job John and Lindsay and the team do!! Not only are they conveniently located for us but they are reasonably priced and do an excellent job. We recently adopted a poodle that had been previously abused. Normally the dog is very skittish around people But they had no problem keeping him calm and also did a great job on his grooming! I would highly recommend! read more

John and everyone at Just for Paws are really great! We have a little rescue schnauzer mix with a heart condition who is very fearful of strangers and isn't always the friendliest. We were nervous taking him for his first grooming but he warmed up to them right away and doesn't mind going back, which is a great sign! We know he is in good hands while he is there and he always comes home more handsome than ever with a cute bandana around his neck (my favorite so far said Stay Calm and Eat Bacon).
