Food was Ok ... Ambiance is hard to beat its photographer's dream ... Service was great EXCEPT for Mike the coordinator he was the rudest man I have ever met in my life. He treated his staff like something he scraped off of his shoe. He was rude to several wedding guests. Most of all he treated myself and my assistant like garbage. He shoved us while we were trying to do our jobs of photographing the wedding and refused to get out of the way of important photos that we were trying to take. As a result there is NOT ONE photo of the bridal party coming through the tunnel because he is in EVERY one. I asked him numerous times to move and he just stared at me with a cold hateful stare. I have the pictures to prove it. Other guests witnessed his disgusting display of authority. He is a bully to the help. What a shame that I have to write this review but a wedding is a one time photo opp and I hope this helps other brides not make the same mistake.

What a fabulous restaurant with superb decor of an old train station. The place still rumbles occasionally from some sort of rail service. It was dark out so I couldn't really see what was going by. The food was absolutely fantastic as was the service. We had salmon and a chicken marsala dish. The salads were phenomenal that accompanied the dinners. To finish we had tiramisu and a chocolate gnash type pie. The coffee was fantastic even without cream as they use milk. I look forward to going back here in the future.

I love DiSalvos Restaurant.. it's drink o'clock somewhere. Happy Anniversary to Us !!

Jioio's is obviously is suppose to be an "Italian restaurant". The only thing I've never understood…read moreis why their "House Italian hoagie" has two different types of "American cheese" on it. Does this make sense to anyone else???? Who was the genius behind this???

Stopped here on the way home while in area, and thought that we would give it a try, as one of our…read morefavorite restaurants is the Carbon Rd. Jioio's. We thought this would be the same experience, and opted to give them a try since we were closer to here. Unfortunately, we were wrong. As huge fans of the other location's pizza and pasta, this did not meet expectation. The crust was about the same, albeit slightly sweeter. The sauce, though--WAY BEYOND over sweet compared to the other Jioio's, and much thinner. Again, please know--we were expecting sweeter sauce, since we love Carbon Jioio's so much. This was over and beyond.... As an app, we tried the Deluxe Garlic Bread, something we always get at the other Jioio's. This was okay, but a bit more soggy than the other place would have been--and again, that red sugar syrup sauce.... I tried the veal parmesan, and while I loved the amount of cheese they put on top, the same WAY OVER sweet, thin sauce, was used on it and the spaghetti side. It was so thin that it wouldn't even stick to the noodles. And, again, about put me in diabetic shock. The veal itself was something I would expect to get in a hospital or school lunch. A soggy, terrible ground up patty that absorbed up all that red sugar water they were trying to pull off as Joio's sauce. The side salad they gave was great portion, though, and I really liked their bleu cheese dressing. The service, however sweet-tooth cracking the food was, was phenomenal. You can tell the restaurant has been around for a while, and has an old-school family feel. As super-fans of the Carbon Joio's, I can't ever see myself returning here. I'm telling you....once you've had the Carbon Jioio's, you won't be able to stomach eating the sauce here. It's THAT thin and sweet. I guess the moral of the story is consider what you want to get. If you want pizza and pasta, go to the other one. Otherwise, I am sure this would be okay for other food items. Just not the veal......

I would say in that time we have ordered just about everything on the menu. While we have moved half an hour away, we still make the trip for the food. That stops today. It took the waitress 25 mins to bring a salad and hot cheese balls. Firstly we thought they changed and were now a finger food establishment as we didn't get silverware. Then we noticed the cheese balls not only being room temp but also did not arrive w sauce. The waitress never came back for us to ask for sauce. The croutons on the salad were stale beyond belief. Inedible. Then the entrees arrived. What happened??? What did you do to the alfredo? There was no flavor and very little of it. We know what this sauce can taste like and that wasn't it. The broccoli was hard and seemed as if they just added it at the end, raw. The waitress never came back after dropping off the food. We never got refills. To say I am sad and disappointed would be the understatement of the year. I cannot stress enough how this failed all previous expectations. An hour and 15 mins for hot cheese balls, alfredo & a Stromboli is a bit much. Had this been the quality we know it can be, it wouldn't have mattered. No more road trips. Plenty of free parking on and off street. There is a ramp but I will warn you, it's long and a decently high grade. Inside there are booths and regular tables. Enough room to walk through the rooms or use a wheelchair, walker, scooter or cane. Noise level is low. You feel a part of the restaurant but not too close to those around you. Decor is simple and honestly what you might expect from an Italian restaurant. Kitchen is visible but you don't hear or see much from it.
