We drove 5 hours from Cincinnati to visit friends for the weekend and to eat at Rinaldi's after seeing their specials shared on our friend's Facebook posts. What a fantastic experience! We sampled 4 appetizers and everything was fresh, homemade and delicious! Each main course was just as scrumptious and we had to take dessert to go due to the generous portions. It is a very casual atmosphere and was filled with local residents on a Saturday evening. We were fortunate to have reservations and avoid the wait. It is also BYOB so if you enjoy having an alcoholic beverage with your dinner you need to plan accordingly! Clearly one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We absolutely love the pizza from here, and in fact I always get one twice the size I know we can eat so we have some to heat up the next day. The other items on the menu are fantastic as well. Our family members have tried many different things from the menu and have never been disappointed in any of the food we have tried, The servings are generous, so we have yet to try something that doesn't end up with a take out box, because the food is just too good to leave any behind. The sauce on the pizza and Italian meals amazing. We have had subs that an organization had made from here for a fund raising sale and they were the best we have had that way as well. Don't forget to buy a loaf of bread when paying on the way out as well. It is hard ti find good tasting bread in supermarkets anymore, and we have never had a loaf from here go bad, because it is so fresh and good that we look for every reason to have it with meals at home over the next two days. Having spent a career assigned many places when serving in the military, we learned that the locals know the very best places to eat, We quickly recognized from our own experience here that we found the food and staff are great, that the locals are frequently seen in here over and over, and we are quite happy being locals here now too! First trip - I ordered homemade spaghetti and it comes with salad and bread. My son ordered a stromboli and an iced tea. It took 30 minutes for my salad and bread to come out and at least 45 minutes for our food. There were only 7 people in the restaurant, we were there at 12pm. Spaghetti was awful, watery and bland but bitter, so I ate 6 bites and quit. Salad and bread were good so I ate that. My sons stromboli was delicious. I would go back just for that. He asked a few times for another iced tea and never did get one. They did give us a discount because of the spaghetti. I was looking forward to the apple dumplings they advertise but they said they were out. The waitress never even asked if we wanted dessert. So, all over not a great experience and so much for my birthday lunch. read more

The locally famous Rinaldi's Pizza Barn, it even has the road it's on named after it - and for good reasons. This place I have frequented over the last 20 years (and more) during summer-time visits to the wife's family that lives nearby. It has always been good, remains good, and for a solid meal at a reasonable price, the place has never failed. The service is Western PA friendly, the food is good, not spectacular, but good, and the ambiance is homey (the comfortable kind). If you're ever in the area and want to eat where the locals frequent (quite often), this is the place. read more

My husband and I eat here frequently sometimes we order food to go either way it's delicious the salads are huge as are the portions of all the other foods. It's not fancy inside but what it lacks for in fanciness can be made up for by coziness! The wait staff make you feel like family they will spend time chatting to you and making sure your whole experience is 100. There are some great pictures to take in on the walls too. They make their sauces and cakes and bread those cinnamon bites are sooo addictive !! One of our favorites note I said one because you'll acquire many is the carrot cake it's delicious! And they're not stingy with the portion which is great for a gal that loves her cake lol they're ample parking space the restaurant is on a corner so just be careful pulling out. Oh I almost forgot to mention the pizza!!! It's excellent generous toppings nice and fresh great crust. So go give it a whirl. read more

Stopped here after a trip to Johnstown, PA. We were really impressed with this place. There's a take out counter and a seated restaurant. Not a lot of tables so we were told large groups might need to make reservations on weekends. We ordered the family salad with Italian meats and cheeses. It was amazing! So many toppings in the salad we all just kept eating. The pizza was also really good. Sweet tomato sauce (which I love). They also had pasta specials which looked very popular. Waitstaff was really friendly and made sure we enjoyed everything. We would definitely go back when we are in the area. read more

Totally disagree with other reviewer. Keep in mind that you are in BLAIRSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA. There aren't a whole lot of options... so I feel like you have to keep that in mind when you review. Pizza Barn has great pizza with a sweet sauce. The food is just ok in most cases, but I've had excellent table service and carry out. read more

Very homely feel and friendly staff. The food was pretty good but possibly slightly over priced.

After seeing a few bad reviews, I was unsure. Their pizza is really good. I was very pleasantly surprised.

No stars. Although the food was good, the ownership was not. I got meat on my pizza. The establishment tried to charge me for a bunless sandwich instead of the meat as a topping. On top of that, my party waited 45 minutes for our food. My friend didn't get her french fries until we were almost done. I POLITELY asked at the register for the meat price to be amended from a sandwich rate to a topping rate. The owner came out of the kitchen, threw my bill, accused me of wanting something for free and told me not to return. He then continued to berate my friends as they confronted him when they paid their bills. I will never return. I've never experienced such a spectacle. read more

It was our first time there...we were celebrating a birthday. The staff were very personable,the atmosphere nice,and the food was awesome,and huge portions. We've eaten here for probably 20 years or more.We've had everything from pizza to lasagna,wedding soup,hot roast beef sandwiches,stuffed shells,stuffed chicken breast,spaghetti,salads,and much much more.And it's always been delicious. The Italian creme cake is to die for,as well as their apple dumplings and homemade bread. Not sure why anyone wouldn't enjoy it. read more
