The movie had all the elements to impress! The lighting, the cinematography, the acting were on par. One unbelievable fact is that the music was all original! It was an awesome event! Phillip Serafin is a writer that really deserves recognition for all of the hard work he put into writing and making this film production happen! The coolest thing was the actors in the movie all showed up for this premiere showing! We were able to mill around in the lobby and meet the actors which was super cool! This was a sold out event! It was an excellent evening, that I won't forget!

This theater reminds me of the old school theaters from back in the day. The only thing up to date about this theater is that the seats are numbered, so you get to choose your seat when buying your ticket. The website mentions they have a GTX theater that stands for Grand Theater Experience. I have yet to see that offered with any of the movies I've gone to see, but I would love to check it out. When ordering online, you have the option to order tickets through Fandango or Georgia Theater Company. Both options offer rewards, but I prefer fandango since I can use my rewards at any theater across the country who uses them. The ticket booth is a riot. There is one young man who usually manages the booth as you walk in, and he is hilarious. Great personality, and he will tell you all the important things to look out for like sneak peaks after the credits. GTC Houston Lakes is by far the best theater in a 20-mile radius.

THE HIDDEN GEM OF PERRY, GA!…read more While visiting the city of Perry, my husband and I decided to check out the local community theatre which was having an Open House today. This building has been around since the twenty's, and was originally a car dealership. It was acquired in the 1980's and converted into the theatre. It appears to be in great shape. We had an opportunity to chat with the director and some of the employees, Volunteers are in the process of preparing the stage, (priming and construction). for their next production, (Plaza Suite by Neil Diamond), with starts later this month. The director was very enthusiastic about it all and if I recall correctly, they are in their 34th year. It usually takes about seven weeks for them to get the stage set up and ready to go. While I was there, I wanted to check out the seating situation. The seats, (170), are great because they are cushioned and set in such a way they you have a great view of the stage from every angle. It also helps that the stage is large, open and quite close to the audience. This is truly community theatre as it is all volunteer and two of the current principles have had no prior acting experience. Everyone is encouraged to try out.and I would love to come down and actually see one of their productions. If you live close by, you should take the time to come by and support this local theatre. The seating is open, so get your tickets online, but arrive early to get a prime seat. Thanks to being a cozy theater, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The theater is a comfortable smaller venue, lots of parking, easy in and out. So far,we have seen two plays and have tickets for three upcoming. (Season tickets) The performances, cast, costumes, and sets have been at the same level, or above, everything we have seen in larger venues with traveling companies. To anyone who thinks theater is out of budget, we recommend Macon Little Theater you will not be disappointed.

I don't want to give much away, but you have a guided tour of this FEAR institute which leads you through different sections of what is supposed to be a medical type facility. Amazing props and fantabulous interaction with the actors. I did see a lot of children there, but do not let that fool you....those little ones should not be going. This place has lots and lots of pitch black twisting pathways, gruesome displays and lots of scary things where you least expect it. I really like this movie theater, and this is the only negative incident I've experienced here. I've been coming here for about 2 years. I had two great PG-13 experiences at this theater: IT and Black Panther. Both features were viewed after 7:30 pm. Both viewings were fantastic interactive experiences with the other movie goers. So, when I recently went to watch a PG-13 movie, I was excited! Well, 2 hours later, I found myself in 'mom'-mode protecting a young lady from a movie theater full of kids. Don't even ask what the movie was about because I have no idea! I spent the entire movie having popcorn thrown on me, my seat being kicked, kids constantly walking in front of the movie screen, begging security/management to do something about the kids fighting in the theater, and basically making sure a young lady didn't get beat. The end result was a mob, several fights, police being called, me witnessing a young lady get punched in her head, and just pure madness! When I returned the next day, the manager on duty said that I should have approached them yesterday (the night of the event) to ask for my refund. She gave me some free tickets and also advised that maybe I shouldn't come to a PG-13 on the weekend after 7 pm. (Note: She was not one of the managers on duty the night before so she certainly did not understand the complete chaos that had ensued!) So here's the tip: I'm not telling you to avoid Galleria. I still go to the movies here. However, please Doomsday Prep for your movie experience if you want to view a popular PG-13 after 7 pm at this movie theater when school is out.

This museum highlights a fairly depressed looking downtown area, and while the outside doesn't have…read morea ton of aesthetic appeal, the interior rotunda is quite impressive. It houses a small, eclectic collection of exhibits focusing on subjects ranging from the local music scene to the history of segregation. The titular Harriet Tubman is memorialized in art and sculpture, but I could not figure out why the museum had this focus; Tubman is of course an impressive figure but as far as I could tell she was never anywhere near Georgia (the national park site in Eastern Shore Maryland is the area where she actually lived). Another aspect of the museum which puzzled me a bit was an exhibition on Tyler Perry, who again doesn't seem to have any local ties but is apparently a bigger cultural figure than I would have guessed. A mural on important historical figures is intriguing, but bizarrely excludes native Georgian Clarence Thomas and casually throws in figures like Bill Cosby and OJ Simpson while omitting some rather important pieces of context. Other parts of the museum focus on some starkly negative aspects of local history, as well as inspirational stories of success; military heroes get detailed stories here, but I was also impressed by a wall of black inventors. Overall, I found it a museum with some good highlights, but overall a mixed experience with some unfortunate lapses and not really a large enough place to drive from anywhere not in the Macon area just to see it.

Tracy (manager) was very helpful digging thru records with me and gave me free stickers too. I really enjoyed looking for my treasures. Although they didnt have what I wanted, they were willing to special order for me.
