I've been here on several occasions for a smog check but this one just didn't sit right with me on my last smog. I do truly believe the guy is honorable and just made an honest mistake in entering my VIN on the smog, but that honest mistake through negligence has now costed me roughly $400 out of my pocket. I got my money back for the smog, but it should've never came to that. He's not entirely to blame, I do also blame myself for handing over money without checking to make sure the VIN was entered correctly. Lesson learned, and won't return here. It's painful having to fork up money every two years for a senseless regulation - why must a car made a few years ago receive biannual smog checks but older cars and diesel trucks polluting the heck out of the environment do not (are exempt)? Sounds like another way for the city and county to collect more money. I'm for sensible regulation but this is outrageous....
