I have been a faithful customer of Discount Tire for many years. The manager of the Acworth location is awesome. I needed to replace my tires already before getting a nail in one the day before thanksgiving. They only had three tire in stock for my car. They got me in another brand of tire. Update: I'm not a fan of the other brand and will likely go back to Michelin's if I can stand them long enough. Update: I went up and I the store to see what could be done about getting into different tires. The manager, Gus, more than took care of me. I had a slow leak in my run flat tire (ironic) and after going to two other tire stores and being told a run flat tire cannot be repaired only replaced-to the tune of $225.00, I had reached my patience limit and was scared I wouldn't make it home. I called Discount Tire at 6:05, knowing they were closed, but surprisingly, Ron answered the phone. I told him my mild dilemma and he told me to come in immediately. I got there within 15 minutes and was immediately greeted by Brett. I wasn't rushed as I was checking in nor was I given dirty looks by the several techs that walked by considering it was now 20 minutes past the time they normally close. Brett was friendly, talked me through the pros and cons and took my little Cooper to the back. Within 20 minutes my car was done. Brett came in with a smile, handed me back my keys and told me the service was free. I could have fallen over!! Not only did I keep them 45 minutes late but now my service was free and the techs were still smiling!? Wow! I will definitely be back to Discount Tire. Ron was gracious in allowing me to come in after hours and Brett was helpful and so fast fixing the tire. I was at home in their service center with a cup of Keurig coffee and the friendly banter from the techs. Great experience at this tire store yesterday. I worked with Brad over the phone and Ethan once I arrived. Both employees had great customer service with me and to all phone customers as I waited and overheard them. I had been told by two other tire stores that my tire couldn't be patched and they were able to patch it with no problem. I arrived 20 minutes before they closed at 6 o'clock and they still took my car back repaired the patch with no problem. read more

Terrible! 6 months ago we got rims and tires on my husband truck. Spent early 2,000.00. The wheel weights have now fallen off in our driveway, the lug nut cover came loose and scratched the rim, and they did not check the turn radius and the wheel rubs when he turns left. And the truck rides rough from being off balance. He's gone back already and the problems still continue! We are waiting to hear back from corporate now to see if they will do something to fix all these issues. read more

My daughter had a flat on her way to school today and I was able to go by the school take the tire off and take it to Discount Tire for a replacement. Even though I did not have an appointment Discount Tire was able to replace the tire in about 15 minutes. This place is very well managed and always responsive to emergency fixes. read more

Nothing special here. No coffee service or WiFi, but they do have free bottled water. 4 tires mounted and balanced in about 30 minutes. Not bad! Nice guys but I guess they could be a little imposing as the salesmen are on the "meaty" side. Listened to them hard sell the tire warranty to a few women while I waited for my tires. Funny that they didn't even mention the added warranty cost when I came in for mine. Asked them to remove it and they didn't even blink. I guess they think women are easy targets... My advice: never take any extended warranty, and don't tolerate the "hard sell" from anyone. read more

My husband and I both got 4 new tires for both of our cars. We got a great price on the tires and everyone there was so nice. When I went to get my tires they were super busy, the guy at the front, Matt, was super nice and explained that it would take about an hour and he apologized for the wait (honestly I thought an hour was pretty reasonable). I got a text that tracked the progress of my car and I was out of there with 4 new tires in about 30 minutes. We will 100% be using them again. read more

Best tire store ever! Ron (manager) keeps things moving. The prices are really competitive and they will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. Sure they try to sell the road hazard plan but it's worth every penny. Today, I had a tire that would not balance. They put on a new $200 tire free! In the past they replaced two other tires that were cut by metal on the road... free. Taylor is one of their best tire installers. He is one reason I keep coming back. Highly recommend! Like other reviews have stated, these guys are out to "up" sale you. I came in to get a new tire for my Volkswagen Golf. They have the tire in stock but their tech Cody; very nice guy but still pushing for a sale; tells me that he cannot service my vehicle unless I also get tires put on the back because my tire tread is too low and it's a safety concern for them to service the vehicle... (The tires have plenty of tread with just a bit of wear) Really? Ok so I had them sell me the one tire and put it on my rim. I am still charged the installation fee even though they would not put the tire on for me because of the techs above statement. This is my first and last time dealing with this location. Overall, the lack of going above and beyond for a customer is unfair and is hurting their customer loyalty. read more

From the moment I walked in, it was busy, which was fine, but the wait was ridiculous. Even with an appointment, I waited over 10 minutes before I could even "check in" for said appointment. All I needed was a tire changed, and I had just purchased a brand new set, with a warranty and all, from Discount Tire. The gentleman at the desk told me (at 9:15 a.m.), that due to the wait, it would take about an hour to change my tire. There wasn't an issue until I had sat and waited and watched as everyone else's names were being called. I just assumed the other customers had minute issues, hence their short wait time; however, at 11:15 a.m., I finally asked the same gentleman how much longer it would be. Now granted, I could've asked sooner, but I didn't want to be that customer that sat there and berated the staff over a flat tire replacement. When I did ask though, he told me that my tire had BEEN changed, so someone must've just forgotten to say something. How does one just forget to alert a customer that their car is ready? The gentleman wasn't even sure where my car was parked, which don't get me wrong, I didn't expect him to be a psychic and just magically find my car, but it just appeared that the whole staff seemed to be so laissez-faire about the issue which was concerning seeing as the whole business pertains to the service of cars. One would assume that if they were able to locate all of the other customers to inform them of the whereabouts of their vehicles, I would have been no different. I love Discount Tire, but I surely will not be returning to this location. read more

I recently had a tire patched at the store in Smyrna which didn't hold, and Joseph at the Acworth location offered several options if it was patched improperly and needed a new tire. They had it fixed quickly, and the staff is always helpful and kind. It was a positive experience considering the circumstances. read more

I have used the Discount Tire in Acworth several times in the last couple of years to both buy wheels and tires and repair a couple of tires. I have never been to a more customer service oriented automotive facility in my life. Just as an example I perform most of the maintenance on my car and when I needed to change my brakes I was unable to find the adapter for my locking lugs. I took the car to Discount Tire to see if they could find an adapter or remove them. They did not have an adapter but they removed them in 15 minutes and charged me absolutely nothing while thanking me for choosing Discount Tire. I can think of several of my neighbors that have had the same type of experience ... I would highly recommend Discount Tire in Acworth to anyone needing a tire service of any sort. read more

I bought 4 new tires a couple of weeks ago. Shortly after wards the car sounded like it was a plain about to take off. I was told it was noise from the new tires. I called Tim at Discount Tire and he said bring it in and they would be happy to replace the tires, or do whatever I wanted. I brought it in and Dimitrius and I took it for a test drive. We were barely down the street and he said the bearing(s) are bad. Sure enough, I had the car checked out the nest day and they were bad!!! I have bought many tires from them for our various vehicles. They offer the warranty, not push (and to the reviewer below, I am a woman!) I am a Realtor and I buy the warranty for the vehicle that I use for work and have benefited from having the warranty every time due to getting nails in the tires from new construction home sites. I rarely buy warranties, but theirs has paid off on that vehicle. They get you in and out rather quickly if you have an appointment. These guys are very honest and will match any other dealer's price. read more

This place patched my tire without charge and the staff was incredible. Tanner was super knowledgeable and I could tell he genuinely wanted to answer my questions and give me the best deal possible for my future purchase. They even offered me a complimentary energy drink (because I had also worked a long outdoor shift and they could tell I'd appreciate it- how cool?!?!). I don't know how much these guys make, but after watching them work, it's probably not enough!
