Went to the store located on Bells Ferry Road at 7am this morning Saturday 6/6/26. The guy showed up 10 minutes late, when I pulled up to his car while he was getting out he says I hope your not here first thing in the morning to harass me? I say no, with a smile I'm here to get a tire plugged. He said I don't have a guy here that can do that until 9 or 10 am. Asked if I could wait on it if I brought it back then, which he said would be no problem. So I told him I would be back. when I returned at 9 AM he asked me to bring it back later when they're not so busy. WHAT AN ASS!!!! I was supposed to get 4 new tires with alignment for $1,800 and I got the quote from store manager last Friday of May. My car supposed to be ready at 7pm, but they didn't do the alignment and They said they would do it tomorrow. I paid $1,905.46, and when I got my car, I realized they made scratches on my car 4 rims when they were installing tires. They said they would take care of it, and I told them my rims worth more than $4,000, and I don't want you to cover it with marker since I can do that at home, and I want it to get fixed professionally. I was there the day after to get my car as they told me, with fixed rims and alignment done. But I saw they covered scratches with marker, and they didn't do alignment as well. I told them I didn't want you to cover scratches with marker, so why did you do it? They said we didn't do scratches to the rims!!!! It's ridiculous. I can't believe. And about the alignment, they said your car is too big, and we can't do alignment for it, and when I asked them to return my money back for alignment, they didn't accept it!!! I really didn't expect these unprofessional manners and unprofessional job from them. I already emailed to headquarter twice but I didn't get any help and they just emailed me back Please know that we've updated your Case...........and have escalated it to our Field Leadership Team for further review and action. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was visiting this area in GA and took my car in for an oil change. Got my car back and then noticed oil on the driveway, went by and the manager said it was due to cold weather. There was NO leak at all before I took it to them and there had been a cold snap where I live. I took it to my certified mechanic back home, he stated that they put a plug in that was too big. Awful experience. I went to get alignment checked. Told me I needed 2 tires, so I agreed. Also told me my struts were bad. I asked for quotes. NEVER gave me a quote for my struts. After installing 2 tires told me they couldn't patch one of my back ones so I needed 2 more. I agreed because I didn't want to buy 3 tires, I wanted the whole set instead. Then I made sure I was getting a rebate for the buy 4 tires. He said yes. He neglected to give me info on the rebate. Called back to get it and still doesn't have ir. Told me to call Goodyear direct. My receipt says I refused roadside hassard. Not true, I was never offered roadside. I arrived 15 minutes early to my 8 am appointment. I went to this location yesterday to have an issue with my AC evaluated and was given a quote for $1600 to replace the compressor/belt and recharge the system. I called 3 other service chains in the area and all 3 estimates were $400-$600 cheaper than the quote from this location. I raised this concern with the store manager and was told that they're willing to price match. If you're willing to price match that much that tells me that you know you're significantly overpriced compared to your competitors and you're hoping to take advantage of those who don't take the time to receive other quotes. On top of that when I went to pick up my car yesterday evening I discovered that my driver's window was down. I was told that they rolled it down and couldn't figure out how to get it back up. I explained to them that the switch did not work and had not worked for several months. I would have let them know this had I known that they would be rolling it down to check something unrelated. The assistant manager told me that he didn't have anyone who could manually roll up the window but to come back this morning and they would roll it back up for me. I went in this morning and they now have a sign behind the desk that states that they roll down the driver's window for all services(the sign was not there yesterday). The store manager told me that I would need to pay them to roll the window up since they would have to remove the panel and it would take at least an hour to do. I told him that his assistant manager had already told me that they would take care of it given the circumstances. He then informed me that they don't have anyone there with the skills to handle it today and I would need to come back on Tuesday. Both of these issues make it clear that this store is more interested in maximizing its profits than it is in taking care of its customers and providing a positive experience. If you're looking for a positive customer service experience and not be overcharged for it I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere. read more

The worst service center every. I brought my daughters car for and oil change, rotate tires and check the transmission fluid. Pretty simple stuff for a service center. The manager was rude and condescending. He refused to check the transmission fluid and and over charged for the oil change. Since, after reading all these reviews about this store, it's clear that nobody should deal with this location. PepBoys has become the worst car service business in the country. Other locations have the same level of reviews. Corporate PepBoys doesn't care about the consumer anymore. This is way they are slowly going out of business. I am so pleased with the service I received from Pep Boys! I was across the street at a Shell gas station when the battery on my car died. I called Pep Boys and Jeff cheerfully answered in just a couple of rings. I explained the issue, and Jeff said he would see if one of his guys could send over a jump kit. Imagine my surprise when he personally was over with a jump kit less than 10 minutes later. He got my car started, and I headed over to Pep Boys. They checked the battery almost immediately, and it was determined I would need a new one. They had the battery in stock. With $139.99 and free battery installation, my car is as good as new. Within one hour of my battery dying, I had a new battery and was back on the road. I am so thankful I found Pep Boys. What could have turned into an awful day was quickly remedied by the amazing team here at the Woodstock Bells Ferry Pep Boys! read more

On a Saturday, I called for an appointment to have my car aligned on Monday. He set an appointment for 11 AM. I arrived around 1045 and they said they would take me in in a few minutes I made myself comfortable and read a magazine that I had with me. At 12 o'clock I still hadn't been called in. So I took out my phone and started working on my emails at 1 o'clock. I was still waiting and I inquired what the holdup was. They said they were about to take me in and within 10 minutes I did at 2 o'clock. I still haven't gotten my car so I went over to Arby's to eat. I returned it to 30 defined my truck ready to pick up. I had also asked them to reset a headlight that was cocked off and see if they could replace some clips on the windshield on my hood because it was squeaking They reaimed my light but was unable to replace the clips. It cost me $110, which I thought was high, but I didn't say anything. My husband and I have had our vehicles serviced here for six or seven years so I'm disappointed. ! first, with the time that it took when I had an appointment at 11 AM, and then with the cost. Good service isn't the standard from state to state. Moved here a year ago from California where I've used this business for over a decade. I get here and the service was shakey to start, I attributed it to the geographical location and the difference in how people communicate across the country - no biggie. I took both my vehicles to this location for regular maintence, literally like every other month or couple of months. However, this last time, I took my vehicle in twice in the same week and asked for a tune-up and check because of the symptoms my suv was experiencing. Long story short, I had coolant leaking into my engine and had to get an entirely new engine! Luckily it was recall (which they should have also caught). This came to pass as I was driving and my car started to repeat the symptoms I expressed several times over to the mechanics there who ultimately did nothing, not even when they did a tune-up. Funny how they were supposed to top off the fluids and did not - I asked if that was standard and was told yes but of course the manager couldn't tell me why they hadn't done it. Anyway, so here I am on the side of the road, I call Pep Boys to yet again find out what the hell they missed considering I had been there two days prior! The manager was supposed to call, he didn't. So, not only did they take my money twice, fail to do their job AND failed to admit that they weren't experienced enough to, they failed to hold themselves accountable, and the manager failed to follow-up with a customer due to their lack of accountability. Cowering doesn't absolve the deficiencies clearly happening with this specific location. Sure, I may be an anomaly, which would have been the most opportune time to address my concern head on, instead, across the board everyone was unprofessional and executed their jobs poorly. Waste of my time. Called to ask about getting my oil changed. I drive a 13' Honda Crosstour that requires Full synthetic oil. I mentioned this on the phone. I was quoted their special for $55. Great! That's a steal, I'll be there. Oh wait what is the wait time? How far are you over? 100 miles. It'll be an hour. I can make that work. I'll be there in 10 minutes. I walk in ten minutes later and the wait is 2 plus hours AND synthetic is on sale for $69 not $55. read more

Great staff, great manager Had my first flat in this truck on a Saturday night and quickly learned the previous owner did not give me the right lug wrench to remove the custom wheels BF Pep Boys only place near me open on Sunday so I had. It towed there Saturday night On Sunday morning they removed the old wheels and put my originals back on, then let me go buy a set of standard lug nuts, come back and replaced all the lug nuts for me & then wouldn't charge me for it A courtesy for their customers they said Convenient honest and a great bunch of guys I will definitely be back! read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this location, sat in the lobby for more than 7 hours then on top of that the repairs cost $2,000 dollars and after driving around for less than 2 days another problem randomly popped up that wasn't there prior. Then I added an alignment, road hazard insurance and everything else. The cost: Less than $500. I scheduled my appointment online with the Bells Ferry location. I got a polite call confirming my appointment. I arrived a little early on a Saturday. I dropped off my keys and was told two hours. Two hours later, I got a call that my vehicle was finished. I stopped by, paid and left. No one tried to pressure me to buy more expensive tires, other services or unnecessary additions. The folks were courteous, professional and on time. And it cost more than $400 less than my dealer. I think my dealer is out of luck. I have a new home for my car's check-ups and service. read more

I had a called a couple of places and was told no one could get me in that day. Her brake pads were needing to be replaced...I did for $30 in parts...but someone here pushed her to the point she almost spent $350 on brake pads. Shame on you for trying to take advantage of a young lady who doesn't know cars. They have always been very up-front about needed service and costs, along with additional service that I might need. Today, they honored a discount they offered me on my last visit (because they remembered me, not because I asked) and I have NEVER been pressured to purchase anything extra, so I'm not sure where that previous reviewer's comment comes from. They are very specific about parts and prices without being overly confusing, they are always happy to answer questions, have realistic estimates on service times, and will never ignore you at the counter. I went for changing the battery on my truck. Battery was around $120 and after the work was completed I showed Mike the 15% off coupon I had. With out even reading the fine print he outright denied it. Had to show him what it says and finally to agree on that. After that he tried to charge an installation fee to recover the 15% off. This Pep Boys SUCKS big time. Not only do they use cheap crap parts they also do not stand behind their warranty.. we had a serpentine belt replaced that broke because one of the pulleys crapped out and needed to be replaced. Not long after it went bad again because the pulley they replaced was not installed properly. They said they replaced it twice now and they were not going to do it again. Well guess what, we are a few weeks down the road and now the tensioner crapped out on us and has to be replaced because Pep Boys used a crappy part. They won't honor their warranty and are not replacing their crappy tensioner so now we have to go somewhere else, pay again and do the whole thing all over again. These guys talk a big game but their parts are cheap and crappy and so are their mechanics. Not to mention the whole thing was a financial rip off and they tried to upsell us on other stuff that supposedly "needed repair" Don't waste your time or money here. read more

When I went in I only went for a oil change, Andrew told me I had a oil leak and they put a dye in it and told me to come back in a few days so I did, before I left on my 1st visit Andrew told me my RIGHT BACK TIRE had 4 nails in it and that it needed to be changed ASAP but I declined and said I would think about it, my 2nd visit that same week they still couldn't find the supposed oil leak but Andrew still tried to sell me tires telling me I need them very bad, my 3rd visit a few days later he told me the same thing so I finally bought some tires, I tell Andrew to go ahead and change all the tires besides the Left back tire since that was my newest one and after sitting there for 2 and a half hours, which is way to long to change 3 tires my tires are finally finished, I only had to wait 2 and half hours so they could charge me more for labor (which was 90$) it doesn't take that long too change 3 tires especially since I've had a full set changed at this exact location in under 30 minutes, once I am finally done I get my car drive back to my house to realize that they changed every tire beside my RIGHT BACK TIRE that supposedly had the 4 nails in it.
