After getting a routine tire rotation at my Nissan dealership in Phoenix the day prior, I was driving up I-17 on my way out of town & the tires were hopping like crazy & the entire car was shuddering along the freeway. I got off & saw a Discount Tire, who I get all my tires from & trust & knowing my car had recently been inspected at the dealership & all I had done was the tire rotation, I was hoping they could help. This was not my regular Discount Tire location, but then I don't seem to have a regular one, I use whichever shop is close when I need it, which is usually unplanned & unexpected. They always come through for me! It wasn't too long of a wait considering i was a drop in. They inspected every tire & also had their wheel alignment specialist look it over to be sure. He did find & make some slight adjustments to my alignment & they rebalanced all 4 tires, replacing the weights. I was able to continue on with my trip & my car rode like dream! After 30 years as a loyal Discount customer, my recent experience at this location has caused me to lose confidence in the brand entirely. The service and leadership displayed by Dimitri were unacceptable. I was given false promises and information that I later discovered was untrue. When I attempted to address the issue, the response I received was simply that "it wasn't personal." Whether it was personal to him or not, it absolutely became personal to me the moment I was lied to and misled as a customer. What concerns me most is not only the poor customer service, but the apparent lack of accountability and leadership throughout the situation. After three decades of loyalty to your company, I expected honesty, professionalism, and a sincere effort to resolve the matter -- none of which I experienced. If corporate leadership genuinely cares about customer experience and brand integrity, I have documentation and proof supporting my concerns, including evidence of the misleading statements and unfulfilled promises made during this interaction. Subject: Saved By Nik at Discount Tires I got a flat tire while heading out on a small road trip. About halfway through the drive we noticed the tire was flat, and luckily we were right near a gas station. We stopped and called AAA, and they quickly put on the spare so we could get back on the road. We arrived at Discount Tire at 5:59 PM, literally one minute before closing. I would have completely understood if they told us we were too late since they were about to close. Instead, the service agent Nik told us not to worry and that he would take care of it after hearing our situation. That level of customer service really stood out. They helped us out even though it meant staying a little late. I use Discount Tire for all my tire needs, and experiences like this are exactly why. I've been trying to have defective tires replaced since November 2025, and it's now March 2026 with no resolution. Each time I go into the store, I'm told they need to check on something and that they'll call me back. The problem is--they never do. They were very quick to sell the tires, but when it comes to addressing a warranty issue or product defect, the follow-through has been extremely disappointing. read more

These guys helped me out of an extremely tight spot. My brother had a medical crisis, and I had to move his truck and trailer, but the trailer had a flat. Hey, he had a spare! Except the spare was apparently for his first trailer and had six lug holes on its rim, not five. Took off the flat, took both to Discount, and the moved the good tire to the useable rim in very little time. We were able to get the truck and trailer moved to safe storage, and the day was saved. I would really recommended this location after my experience today. They're were very friendly and helpful! I was told at another tire shop that I needed all my tires replaced and that it was going to cost about $200 a tire. While I was still there, another person pulled me aside and said I was being ripped off and recommended I try Discount Tire instead. Today, I stopped by to get my tires filled, and Nick (super friendly!) let me know that I needed new back tires--which I already knew but had been putting off. I went inside, and Jenny helped me through the process. She was incredibly helpful and didn't make me feel pressured to purchase the most expensive tires. The people who work here are completely incompetent. For starters, if you come here, plan to spend your whole day here as they will take an additional 3-4 hours from your original estimated finish time. They have a link they text you that is supposed to update when your car is in the bay and completed but is entirely unreliable and inaccurate. I've also watched the assistant manager spend over an hour trying to change two tires. Not only did this take forever, he also repeatedly got the socket stuck in the wheel, using everything from hand tools to power tools to get it out, only causing damage to my rims and lug nuts. Oh, I should mention, the assistant manager was replacing two tires because they dented and scratched the first set of brand new rims. They then tried to lie and come up with a story to cover their butts. This place is run by a bunch of inept high schoolers that don't know the difference between their a** and a hole in the ground. Last minute saviors! I got a screw in one of my tires. I was smart enough to go online and make an appointment so I waited for about eight minutes until they got it in and fixed it at no charge. I get my tires rotated here every 3-5,000 miles depending on how warm it is outside and I have not had better customer service anywhere in the past year. Every single member of their staff is amazing and the only recommendation I have is that you make an appointment because everyone knows how awesome they are so they're always crowded. I was headed up to Flagstaff on Saturday and ended up with a flat tire. This was the closest tire shop so I drove in on my spare. Morgan checked my tires and let me know the flat seemed to be a valve stem issue. One of my other tires ended up needing to be replaced, and the tire that brought me in was able to be fixed for free. This is the best Discount Tire. They come out to your car before you even get out. They are welcoming and professional. Even offering me a water bottle. They had me in and out in no time. They didn't try and push me to buy a set of tires. We are almost due for a set, they mentioned it and left me a card. There is another Discount close to our home and they are to busy to care. They usually tell me to come back the next day. Then there is the other 2 discounts that they try and pressure you into a new set of tires in the past. On a different vehicle with expensive low profile tires I went in I'll never forget the sales guy telling me " I have some bad news... ( like somebody died) you'll need a set of tires. Funny cause I had a warranty. He acted shocked ohhh I'll have to check on that. Anthem Discount is awesome and honest we will buy a set through them when it's time. Went in last Thursday due to a flat. They warrantied the tire that went flat. I bought two new tires on top of the warrantied one. Paid over $500 for two tires. Told them I would come back tomorrow to get it. I get a call a couple hours later saying they don't have one of the tires and their inventory was off. No biggie, I understand. Said it would be in on Monday. Life happened and wasn't able to get it in until today. I show up to pick it up. The guy at the counter handed me my keys and receipt and told me to have a nice day. I walk out to my truck and check to make sure exchanged the correct tire and notice two missing lug nuts on my front passenger tire. They were really sending me on the way with a huge safety issue! I went back in and they told me to head over to brake masters and I could pay them to fix it. I told them no way was I paying that and that my truck and this exact tire was just serviced on Thursday. They said tell brake masters to "put it on their bill" turns out brake masters does it for them for free and said it happens sometimes 3-4 times a day. I understand mistakes happen but this was a really big mistake and could've been a huge hazard if it wasn't for my own diligence. read more

Hooray for me and another trip to Discount Tire in Anthem. I picked up a nail causing a slow leak.... This happened a few weeks ago also! In between I also had new rims installed. Love the rims! Long story short-Hayden got me in line to get the tire fixed and the tech (missed his name) took care of the rest. They even helped me procure a second lug key just in case. Got a flat tire on the 17 and this shop was the closest location. I had to wait about 2 hours for them just to look at my car and see if they could patch it. After waiting for 2 hours+ they finally bring my car in and 5 minutes later they tell me they can't fix it. Unfortunately, they didn't have any tires my size in stock and couldn't even tell me if any other discount tires in town had them in stock. Big waste of time. read more

My Tesla piece on my tire was broken during the tire change and she told me she had already ordered a new one. Discount Tire are the best offering free tire pressure check and to patch them at no cost. I have been to various locations. The staff at each location is always the same providing superb service. After finding out that one of my tires was splitting, I decided to quickly take my car into this Discount Tire. I've heard such great reviews of this specific one. With the Arizona summer heat, I didn't want it to cause a blowout and needed to get it done right away but I also had to work a 12 hour shift that night. Tyler was super nice and accommodating. He got the tires I wanted ordered and it arrived the same day and he called me as soon as they were off the truck and pre-registered me so I didn't have to wait long at all for them to work on my car.
