With the Arizona summer heat, I didn't want it to cause a blowout and needed to get it done right away but I also had to work a 12 hour shift that night. Tyler was super nice and accommodating. He got the tires I wanted ordered and it arrived the same day and he called me as soon as they were off the truck and pre-registered me so I didn't have to wait long at all for them to work on my car. I have a Jeep Wrangler and had picked up a nail in one of the tires. I made an appointment and arrived early as recommended. Before I could get to the door I was met by Chaz and he went out to my vehicle and inspected all the tires and got me set up to get my tire repaired. After a short period time Anthony took my Jeep into a bay and started working on my tire. It was not long before Anthony came and told me my vehicle was ready. My husband and I had a true emergency situation when the trailer we were towing blew not one but two tires (at separate moments) while we were towing our brand new sofa home. We called the Anthem store and they said they had tires in stock and could change the blown spare and put a new tire on the wheel. We ran back to the trailer and picked up the other blown tire and then we ran back to Anthem where they had promised to stay late if we needed them to do so. Very good job. Ordered tires online on Monday night. Tuesday morning I have a voicemail from the store saying the tires will be in late that afternoon, and they will be ready to go for the 8:30am Friday appointment that I scheduled online. I get to the store on friday morning, and the total price in the store is slightly different (the TPMS rebuild kit was $2 less in store compared to what was quoted online). Said it would take 45 minutes, and that's exactly how long it took. The employee I dealt with in-store was very friendly and professional. Only thing i'm going to do differently next time is just use their website to find the tires I want, then go straight into the store to order them, instead of doing it online. I like knowing the total price up front. Granted, it was only a $2 difference, and $2 less at that, but still. But I definitely will be back. Also, the website makes it look like you are paying for the service online when ordering the tires. You actually just order the tires and have them delivered to the store, the pay when they install them. BTW... Google maps doesn't give you a very good location with this business (just like most places in Anthem). Anyone in business knows that even the most well intentioned companies have mistakes and accidents occur. That's where the business has the opportunity to make things right. They did. These guys never hesitated or pushed back in the slightest. From the moment I asked someone to take a look at my wheels after the rotation and expressed my concern with some nicks in around the lugs I was immediately given options of what Discount Tire could do to fix them. I've always gotten my tires from here and have been pretty consistent at rotating them at the recommended intervals. That said, the nicks that have accumulated were likely done by them also. It happens, they're very fast and maybe that's a collateral damage. Where else could they have come from? Anyway, an apology was quick and I was instantly given the opportunity to get them refinished or get credit on tires. No excuses, no rudeness, not even a raised eyebrow. I was also given the option of all new wheels that were in stock. That's crazy. I chose the refinishing. They took my tires off the rims and mounted them in new ones temporarily. They had them sent out to a specialty shop, had them back in a day and I scheduled to get them to be swapped again the next morning. They got me in first thing - ahead of everyone else who was waiting. Along the super fast turnaround timeframe everyone at the shop was extremely helpful, courteous, and again, fast. I can't imagine anything more they could have done. Hat tipped. The wheels look a bit darker but otherwise, brand new. Brand new! I'm very pleased. Customer for life, that's a safe bet. read more

The good - quick friendly service. Overall a good experience until the last 5 min. The bad - make sure you have YOUR stem caps before leaving. Chrome when I pulled in - black plastic when I was about to pull out until I noticed. Then waited about 10 minutes for them to be located. Also...while waiting looked online at the Discount Tire website to compare prices and found I was being charged an extra $100 for tire "warranty" I didnt ask for. Had to request that be deleted. Discount Tire locations in general offer decent service and pricing. The Anthem location has a good team that is almost always friendly, willing to take the time to explain the differences between tires and usually offer some wiggle room on pricing. I have never heard anyone in the Anthem location complain about customers or the work they do and most of them seem to enjoy their jobs. I have brought all of my vehicles to this location and they have experience with less common vehicles when it comes to properly lifting, driving and working with the tires and wheels. I have rated this location 4 stars instead of 5 because I have on more than one occasion have had to return for improper balancing and vibrations. My solution has been to ask for "Road Force" or static balancing that takes longer but subjects the tire to driving conditions while being balanced. They also can dismount and turn the tire on the wheel to find the optimal balancing point instead of adding excess weights on the wheels to counter the unbalanced manufacturing of a tire or wheel. read more

Pulled into the "free air check" area with my trailer so they could check the air. Sat there for about 10mins with guys walking back and fourth without even the simplest Acknowledgment. "Hey it's going to be a few mins" etc. would have sufficed. We left without ever even being acknowledged . And they didn't even look busy. Poor customer service.... read more

Totally impressed with the courteous, professional service at Discount. My daughter had a flat tire on the freeway, and her roadside assistance service towed her to this Discount Tire. They had a "triage" station in the parking lot, where customers can stand far apart and the staff quickly cam right over to assess the problem. All the employees were wearing masks. I ordered my tires online from the discount tire website. I received an extremely friendly phone call a day later to inform me my tires were in and all set for my upcoming appointment and to pull into the bay labeled with my name when I arrive. So far looking great. Fast forward to the appointment I pull in to see another car getting pulled into the bay for my appointment. I only have to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to pull the car out. Not bad for correcting their mistake. I pull my car in and sit in the lobby. Shortly after I'm called to the desk to inform me they sold my tires to someone else but they were willing to "upgrade" my tires. I inquire about the price and mileage warranty of the new tires and the warranty was 15,000 miles less. The difference in cost was $4 a tire. I inquired if they would include discounts warranty to make up for the error and reduction in warranty. Their solution was to offer me another tire that was slightly different in size from my car's recommendation. I am extremely disappointed that 1 they can just sell my tires which I did spend time researching online and 2 really offer no other than $12 in "upgrades" when in reality I'm losing a significant amount of warranty on my tires. I have always used discount for my service and particularly this discount tire. I'm not sure if there is new management or something but this is unacceptable for an established business. First time I feel scammed from discount tire. Use caution if you order your tires online to this establishment, no guarantees you will get what you paid for. read more

When I told him, I'm a teacher and some kids probably took them, we had a laugh then he grabbed some caps and put them on for me. Very busy when I arrived but after a few minutes wait, a tech was able to help me select and pay for four new tires for my truck. Comfortable waiting area although restrooms could have used some attention. However, I decided to take a Lyft ride home so I could get some chores done figuring it would take a while considering how busy they were. Much to my surprise I got a text within a couple of hours saying it was done and ready to pick up. The pick up process was smooth and quick too. You'll come here for the prices, not the service. I had all four tires replaced. The new tires are good quality at a good price. The sales guys up front are very good and knowledgeable, however that doesn't seem to translate to the mechanics actually doing the work. The issue I had was I had to return twice to get the job done - once because they didn't put the correct spare back on, and the second because they didn't fix the TPMS correctly. (Curiously enough, they don't actually test the TPMS as part of the "TPMS rebuild", which cost me an extra trip, $60, and 2 hours lost). read more

This was my first visit to their store and it happened because I had a flat tire on our truck - AAA did a great job removing it and installing the spare so I drove up to Discount tire to get the flat fixed. I knew it was just a failed valve stem. The showroom was immaculately clean, and I was immediately waited on and within a few minutes was off to get lunch near by while they fixed the tire. They called us on our cell when it was ready, and when I went in to settle up, I found that there was NO charge for fixing a flat tire even though I had never been into a Discount tire store ... but you can bet your sweet bippy I will think of them when I need tires again! Wonderful attention to detail! I went to this store because of a dashboard warning light about my tires. Luckily, I found this store on Google Maps because I was not close to my house when the light appeared. I think his name was James? He immediately diagnosed the issue, which was a defective tire sensor. I only waited for about 15 minutes, and I really appreciated that. Realizing that I was a little far from home, he notified the other Discount Tire closer to my house about the issue. My tire issue was repaired within 48 hours of diagnosing the issue.
