Do not go to this store. I had my brand new tires mounted and balanced here. They did not torque my back driver side tire. I told them I was heading to the east coast towing a trailer. Well I get to Arkansas on i40 and the back driver side wheel and tire come off. Driving around 65-70mph. Almost have a major collision and loose my life or someone or else's. I call the store they proceed to tell me send me your location. I sent them my location they said your over 500 miles away and it should have came off sooner it's not our fault or problem. They didn't even ask if I was ok or anything. Discount tire is a corporate company that's all over the United States that's why I came here and paid the premium price in case of something like this happening. He also told me he talked to the district manager and there was nothing they can do. Well I reached out to corporate today and they told me they were the last one to touch the truck and there is no such thing as 500 miles. What could have been a 1-2 star review became a 5 star bc they fixed it w a new tire and didn't even charge me. If YOU have a problem, speak up and you may be surprised at the lengths they go to make it right. PROBLEM 1: I went in for a simple tire-fill and clerk discovered a slow leak which would take "less than 1 hour" to fix. 2 hours later I was never called but see my car sitting there and had to wait in line to see if it was fixed. Yes it was "fixed". They may have called the other name on my ticket (we have a fleet of cars we bring here). SOLUTION 1 : CIRCLE the name of the person on the ticket who is in the shop THAT DAY so you call the right name. PROBLEM 2: 2 days later the light came on again indicating tire had low air. Zak said DT doesn't take appts (contrary to what Yelp says). He asked me car color/make and said if I came at 8 the next day, he'd look for it, grab my keys and take care of it. A few people had arrived earlier and all were they were taken first. When it came my turn in line I let the clerk know my experience and he was pleasant and did assist pronto, and I was out in 45 minutes. The tire repair tested fine but they gave me a new tire anyway. Happy customer. SOLUTION: If a customer is in for a 2nd time, they should take priority and Zak could have called me first. Either way, it worked out. Yelp should also indicate they don't take appts. So, in 2018, I had a flat repair that eventually led to new tires. If you read my last review, you will see that my BMW valve stem caps magically disappeared. Cut to current times. I normally only trust going to the Discount tire on Power Road. This Apache junction location is actually closer, and was the only store to have a convenient appointment time when I needed it for a flat repair. A flat repair. No big deal. I waited for what seemed like forever. At one point, I see a technician go to the service advisor and tell him that he broke my tire pressure monitor (TPM). But then, he says that maybe it was broken before. No sir. If it had been broken before, I would have got a notification. No one comes and tells me these facts for probably more than 30 minutes. The advisor comes over and lets me know that they are putting a new one in and what the situation is. No problem. 30 to 45 additional minutes go by. My car appears out front and the technician once again tries to blame me for a cracked TPM that he's so graciously replaced. He tells me that the warnings on my iDrive will go off shortly. I've driven my vehicle a bunch, in hopes that it would go off from a drive cycle, to no avail. I now have a TPM malfunction, meaning that the TPM he put in was bad, installed incorrectly, or not programmed. I look on the internet and see if maybe I check my tire pressure manually, the TPM will reset with iDrive. Lo and behold, the replaced BMW valve stem caps are again missing and replaced on the back with a cheap plastic cap, and nothing at all in the front! Now, I do take some responsibility here. I should have taken them off completely to begin with, and checked before I drove away. I should know better with this joke of a place. But alas, here I find myself missing the BMW valve stem caps again. This review is 4 minutes before I make the big phone call to submit a complaint to management. They need to fix my TPM malfunction. All this from a basic flat repair. I will never ever go to this location again. Update: Manager Carlos is buying me new valve caps. I have been sitting in the store waiting for them to fix me since 345. It's now 515. Then I'm told that the 3 TPMs they never touched are the ones not responding. This place is so full of it. Meanwhile, I see folks waiting to be checked in, getting frustrated. I see the 3 other people in here pacing and stressing because phone batteries are quickly draining. I did notice that there are wall outlets with USB, if any positives can come out of this ridiculous experience. Being a cable. Or a book. Like War & Peace. You'll have time. read more

What a great experience I've had using the Discount Tire on Apache Trail. Before ever ordering any tires, I called on multiple occasions to get their opinion on what tires I should go with. I got many great recommendations when speaking with Holton and ultimately went with the tire he recommended. I ordered the tires online and made my appointment when ordering. When I came the day before my appointment at 5:45pm, 15 minutes before closing to drop my vehicle off due to working the next day I was greeted by Benny. I told him that I was dropping my vehicle off in advance due to working the next day and he said it would be no problem for them to work on my vehicle right then and have it finished in under 45 minutes. They had it completed and me on my way in under 45 minutes. I initially went in for a check on one of my tires. After inspection the guy told me I needed 2 new tires in the back. Ok no problem. AFTER my car was brought out I noticed my tire sensor light was still on and registered " 0 ". I drove around the parking lot for several minutes no change. Went back to the store and motioned for the same guy that took care of me that my light was still on. He goes to tell me that the first guy told me that my other tire had a broken sensor ( umm no ) he goes to get his machine to scan my tires to come back and tell me ALL 4 of my sensors in my tires were broke. I was like no they all worked BEFORE you all touched them. He goes on to tell me I should drive it around and if it is still on to come back. And let me add DROPPED THE SCANNER on the ground !!! 3 hours later I pulled into the Discount on Power and Hampton told Matt my situation and he went out and scanned my tires and inspected them. Comes back to tell me 3 of my sensors are good. The tire I went to have checked had a BAD sensor ( not broken ) Matt was nice enough to replace the sensor at NO CHARGE and Put me right in. Took less then 30 mins. I will NEVER go back to the Apache junction location EVER again. They could have easily fixed this issue from the beginning. My business from this day forward will be at Power and Hampton!!! read more

This used to be a good place. But lately the customer service has declined and they won't accept responsibility. I recommend a different Discount store, this one doesn't care anymore. We simply ordered 4 new tires for a Ford F250, seems like a simple order. Was told it would be 3-4 days and took $ to place the order. 3 1/2 weeks later, no tires. No updates. San Tan Ford offered new tires at only 20 dollars more each and they offer same day service. I remember when Discount was like that. I knew they're founder and he'd be rolling over inhis grave about now. My neighbor just bought tires there for her Jeep. The tires rub on her fenders now because they're too wide or tall. The store told her their employee put the wrong tires on it but he no longer works there so they won't make it right. They told her to have spacers put on to lift the Jeep, which she's having done at $350. She's a recent widow and doesn't know any better and is being taken advantage of. Beware of this place! I spend thousands of dollars every year with Discount Tire. I had my dually tires rotated by Discount in Mesa . When I was headed out of town a few weeks later I went to air up the tires for the trip and discovered they hadn't lined up the air stems on the duals. It was 6:00 am so I got the earliest appointment which was 10:30. When I arrived I was told it would be at least an hour's wait. I've already waiting in line when I came in to get them rotated weeks ago. Your employee failed to align the stems. After almost a half hour and nothing done I asked for the mgr. he said I had to wait like everyone else. I said that wasn't possible as I was supposed to be in Colorado this afternoon and that I had the truck already hooked up to my 5th wheel and had to unhook and come down here to get this corrected. service technician jacked my car up and didn't use the correct lift points. caused damage to my trim. manager took photos but never contacted me about repairing the damage. when I contacted them about the issue, they have no record. next visit, just a standard repair, came in at 11 was told it would be done by 2:30. It had to be done by 2:30 so I could pick my kid up. as I waited the guys up front kept "doing favors" for people that had the same issue I had. my car might have been done at 2:30 if they didn't do favors and just stuck to the policy. this one girl walked in as I was about to walk out to get lunch. she only waited for an hour? I took my tire in for repair to the Discount Tire store in Apache Junction. The repair was simply a replacement of the inner tube. This store kept my tire for over a week. I went to the store to see what had been done. NOTHING. No text message or voice mail, NOTHING.The guy who works there said "they don't do inner tube replacement." I want to know why they did not tell me that when I brought the tire in for repair. I told them it would only need a new tube. VERY poor customer service and terrible communication with the customer. I'm pissed at them. It will be a cold day in hell before they get any business for me. I can't give enough praise to this place! They were a total life saver for me this morning. I had a flat tire & had gone across the street to another shop... who ultimately did nothing & turned me away. This was my second attempt to get help, and I'm so sorry I didn't come here, first! I was promptly greeted & they were very kind about the situation, but also honest. He could tell by immediately looking at the tire, it was destroyed & beyond repair. But, that wasn't the major concern- Honda apparently requires a lug lock to change a tire! And to make that matter worse, you have to order & pay for the stupid part, otherwise take it to a Honda dealer... total bs when your stranded w/ a flat! But, these guys knew what they were doing & saved me such a hassle on a morning gone totally wrong. Let's be real- I am in NO way mechanically inclined. Vehicles are not my forte. Even if I wanted to change the tire on my own- I most likely couldn't! So, I really rely on places like this to take care of me. And I will probably never go elsewhere after this visit. The tech went over how we could practically handle the situation, as they didn't have the lug lock needed, either. Option- break the locked lugs & replace them w/ the spares, while replacing the entire tire. Or, I could have ordered the tool from Honda while waiting idle w/out transportation for it to arrive, or I could have had it towed to Honda & paid double. I was more than happy to let them break things, LOL! They were very kind & helpful the entire experience. Went over multiple tire options with me, to find what would suit best as a replacement since the remaining 3 tires have plenty of life left in them. I was able to choose something mid-range in price that looks just like the rest & fits well. From pulling in to it being finished- it took less than 30 minutes! I was highly impressed. And, they also gave me great recommendations on when I need to replace the remaining tires, as well as keeping a full size for the spare. I can't praise these guys enough for being super professional, helpful & timely. They were excellent in customer service & care! In our past visits, we've received good, polite service. Today I went in for a tire rotation, and one of the associates strongly urged that I get new tires. When I said no, the staff were cold and impolite for the rest of the visit. The guy who wanted me to buy tires warned that my front-wheel drive car could fishtail if I had older tires placed on the rear of the car. In all my years of driving, I've never had a front wheel drive car fishtail. It seems like he was trying to use scare-tactics to get me to buy tires.
