The process was smooth, I got a text and email and phone call alert that my tires were in and they were able to schedule me for an appt within a few days. When I arrived, Garrett was very friendly and informative about the state of my current tires (I didn't quite need new tires yet, but I was close enough so I went ahead) and with offering me various rebates to get back the most money that I could. He suggested that I wait in the coffee shop next door and my tires would be ready within an hour. They were! I noticed I had a nail in my tire today and limped into Discount Tire because I have totally spaced getting a new spare and a flat tire would probably not be a good thing. Since I bought the Discount insurance I knew they would fix my tire for free. However, the new spare was going to be a different story. After I told Patrick what I needed, he keyed in my car details and said he would have a new wheel and a used tire ready for me next week for less than $100.00. Sweet! That was better than I thought. And if that is not service enough, he then tells me to either relax in the waiting area (which would not be hard to do as it is clean and has plenty of chairs) or go across the street to Real de Minas for what he had heard was a great bowl of green. I have LONG been a fan of Discount Tire. From 1999-2006, I had no fewer than three flat tires. Every time, Discount Tire patched them up for me, FOR FREE. I was so, so, so very sad when Boston and Chicago didn't have Discount Tire. But I'm happily back in Denver, and I know where to take my car if there are any issues with the tires. With our recent cold snap, my "low tires" indicator went crazy. Bleepity. I don't have time for that! But no worries, I pull into a Discount Tire and a helpful customer service guy runs over with the air hose. Fills up all four tires, and I'm back on the road in less than 10 minutes. FOR FREE. FREE, people. Free. Of course this store is where I'll come when I need new tires. Because that's how you earn customer loyalty. (Another big part of it is that I never feel that the guys here are trying to screw me over because they know I have no idea what is going on with my car. Teary-eyed and distraught after getting a flat tire on my 2 week old car, I went to Discount Tire to get my tire checked out to see if it was repairable. They said over the phone if it was fixable, they'd patch it for free. Sounds too good to be true! Come to find out it, my tire needed to be replaced. Since it was so brand spankin' new, they called the manufacturer of my tire to see if they would help me out and I wouldn't have to pay full price. So nice of them to even try to do that! And yes, I got a discount. Todd was the guy who helped me- I really feel like he went above and beyond. I also purchased the coverage for all 4 of my tires in the case that it happens again, around $25 a tire or so. Not too bad. Once my tire came in they called me to let me know, told me to come in whenever I could to get the tire replaced. I was in and out of there the second time in less than 30 minutes. Discount Tires was fast and efficient. I made an appointment and was in and out within 1 hour. My one complaint is that despite the reviews of tires online, I felt like they were trying to do a hard up-sell on my tires. I asked if there was something wrong with the tires I was getting because they kept trying to get me to purchase more expensive ones. The guy assured me that my tires would be fine after I asked him point-blank if I actually needed the more expensive tires. Girl is on a budget. Not that big of a deal though. This is one of the better discount locations I've ever been to. The guys here are really friendly and clear about their business practices. First off, free patches for safely repairable tires. They don't even charge for TPMS rebuild. When you need to purchase new tires they provide you with a range of cost and quality options and don't push. They have deferred interest promotions if you sign up for their credit card. And they have lots of mail in rebate offers if you're buying four tires. Bottom line: friendly, honest, helpful, not pushy, great benefits to tires purchased here (free rotation/balance for life of tire), and decent prices. I been going to Discount Tires for about 10 years. My last 2 visits was this location (May 2012 and today). If you notice my photo, that's the car I drive and it requires run flats tires. At my last visit, I paid for the road hazard warranty thinking it would cover a replacement, After getting a nail in my tire today, I did get a replacement but I told the employee I plan on trading in my car and I did not want to purchase another warranty. He then went into a long explanation on that what I bought last time was a "certificate" and to replace the tire, it's $34, etc. The explanation didn't make sense but whatever. I never had any issues with Discount Tire so they get 3 stars because the explanation was unintelligible if it was legit. read more

9am = hear a boom, and realize i have a flat tire...right in an intersection of 17th & Market. ugh. 9:15am = A nice young man helps me change my tire. [ It had nothing to do with the fact i was in my work clothes, in super high heels and distressed ;) ] * I spent my day doing a bit of research on the best tires for my car, pricing and one that was in the direction of home. fast forward to 5pm 5:10pm = I explain my problem and need for new tires. They asses the sitch and explain i should replace all my tires rather than just the two front ones. 5:11pm = thinking...as i don't want to spend $400 on a new set of tires, but realizing that i have to get new ones sooner or later, i agree to set of new tires. what's great about them is there was no pressure to buy all 4. they simply told me i should and didn't make me feel like i HAD to do anything. 6pm = Car was done and i was a happy camper! Somehow a huge piecee of construction material ended up in my front tire. I was sure the tire was done. With Subaru's full time AWD, when you replace one tie, you often must replace all four. I expected the worst, but Chris and the crew at discount were able to repair it. And they even let me keep the car there overnight even though I didn't even buy a new tire from them this time. Waited for 30 mins patiently and 3 customers came and were helped right away. Pulled my truck up to the front of the store and sat for another 15 mins, still not one sales guy helped me. Called Big O and was helped right away. Got to Big O at 9:10 and they are done boom 2 new tires and out the door, total time spent at Big O 20 mins......thanks for the wasted hour discount. I am nothing but impressed with Discount Tire. I stopped in because my tire pressure light was on... I thought it was because of the cold weather and figured they could put a little more air in them. Kyle was great and immediately walked out to the car with me. His "look test" is obviously more sophisticated than mine- he noticed what I hadn't: a nail in a tire. Not only did we have a fun time joking about how I don't own a tire pressure gauge, he really gave me the impression that they care about and take care of their customers. I saw that in action while I was there. As I was waiting, I overheard another employee arranging for a used tire instead of a new one to replace another customer's tire... I have used their sister company, American Tire Company, for years and was delighted to find that the cleanliness of the shops and friendly staff were at this chain as well. In my experience it has taken around an hour to get in and out even with an appointment but the guys at this Discount Tire got me in and out in less than 20 minutes! Garrett welcomed me in. Super friendly guy! Was waiting a short while for the fix. Over heard a super frugal lady whining about her situation. The manager was patient with her. Explained her options. She became irate??? He was calm and super professional. Listening to her was making me irate!!!! I was ready to explain to her that her problem doesn't mean free service or products because she was extremely cheap. But the tire tech walked up to me and said "you're good to go". I needed a new set of run-flat tires as I had run over a large piece of metal. Although he couldn't get the Michelin tires I wanted, he found a set of Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires that ride much better than the stock Goodyear tires that came with the car. It took a few days to order the tires but Arnaldo made it worth the wait as he was able to price match a competitor. I got my new tires 11/01/2017 and they have even improved the gas mileage on my car.
