I wish I could give the Sam's Club in Cheyenne, Wyoming zero stars. Their customer service is terrible. We drove in from Torrington with the plan of getting a discounted membership that we found on line. We started to give the customer service rep our info and when she gave the price, we told her we saw that for new members there was a 50% discount. She called over another rep and when I told her about the discount she said rudely, "show me". So I pulled up the info that was offered by IDMe directed from the Sam's Club website. She told me that's on line only. We kind of went rounds with why would they offer the discount on line but not in person. She was rude not only to us, but to my in-laws that were also trying to sign up as new members. After it was all said and done, I was told that we could sign up on line, get the discount, and that we wouldn't need membership cards because they were moving everything to an electronic format, so we could just download the app and be good to go. I specifically asked if since we already gave our info but didn't pay for the membership if that would cause any issues. She said no, there would be no record of us joining since we didn't complete the process. We walked away with a bad taste in our mouth, but not completely against joining. A couple of days later I go to sign up on line to get the discount and I get a message stating I didn't qualify for the discount because it was for new members only and not renewals. I have never had a membership at Sam's. The date that my "membership" expired was the day after I was in the Sam's Club in Cheyenne. So instead of canceling the transaction, it seems that they just put an end date to show I didn't sign up for the membership. I chatted on line with an agent who directed me to call the membership call center to get it worked out. They tried to help, but they basically just said to try it again and since my email wasn't registered that it would go through. At this point between both customer service centers I had already spent way to much time on a company that I didn't really deserve my business. So I didn't try again. read more

The manager Diane has the very worst customer service skills of anyone in retail outlets! She called after the beginning of the year and offered store credit to renew membership; but, did not say that there was a time restriction to do so. I had shoulder surgery shortly after that which reduced my mobility to get around for a couple of months; and, when I was able to get back into the store, I was told by at least 4 other front desk employees that only she could honor the store credit. The main problem with that is she is hardly ever in and doesn't return phone calls. When I finally was able to get in contact with her after several weeks, she wouldn't honor the offer and treated me as a non valuable customer. So very disappointing after being a Sam's customer for well over 30 years. read more

I was there Christmas Eve. Went early to beat the crowds. Pamela was so helpful and always seems to be that way. She asks if you found what you needed and looks it up to see if they have it if you didn't find it. We were going out to thr car and it was early & looked a little icy. Being g a senior it can be scary. Raymond was out doing carts and assisted us to the car & helped load things up. Took the worry out of our trip. I have been shopping at Sam's Club for approximately 3 years. I have a busy life and no longer have time for shopping. So I was very excited to find out I can order online and the club will get everything ready and I just have to come and pick it up. Perhaps the reason for such horrible customer service is because the clerk cannot handle helping a person while having 3 other customers waiting to be helped. Whatever the case may be, I get to customer service and ask about my order. The clerk radios in asking to bring my frozen items and walks off. After waiting 15 minutes of being ignored and not being told what is going on or the process of the order my frozen items arrive. 20 more minutes pass and I just grabbed my carts and left. I was finally helped by the who checks the receipts. I have never been disrespected before. I would have saved time and trouble if I went shopping myself. I can only pray that they will build a Costco out here. read more

I've been going to Sam's for 7 years and our company for years and years prior. They have some of the worst customer service ever. We tried to get someone off our account 5 years ago, corporate even came out to our business and talked to us, that person is still on our account we've just given up! You ask them to order something for you and your told to do it online, we spend 50k a year there seriously! I'm getting a cosco membership I'm done! read more

Warning - rant ahead! So...I called the eye place at Sam's here in Cheyenne. We all know that I work in insurance, so I am pretty savvy on the questions to ask. First thing I asked, are they in network with my coverage to which I am told yes. Fast forward to day before appointment...I get 2 separate calls from said eye center verifying my insurance. Now on to today and the appointment. AFTER both kids have had their appointments and we are getting checked out o get told they are NOT in network with my coverage. So, $50 copay instead of $20 per kid. When I told them that I was told they were in network I got "well I don't know who told you that". Well...good thing my calls are recorded. So, take this as a warning. DON'T go to Sam's optical. They don't know their heads from their asses! read more

I was a Sam's today on my lunch hour. The employees kept blocking isles of where I needed to get items. When I told one lady that I needed in that isle she said "this is getting ridiculous". I let that one go. I went to self check and scanned my order waiting for someone to get me some rolls of stamps. The machine timed out three times waiting for someone. Yes I did push the help button all three time. I cancelled all and left. read more

Traveling back to Houston, Texas from Sturgis Rally and had a flat tire. Went to Walmart next door to Sam's and was told we had to wait 2 hours to sell us one freaking tire. Walked next door to Sam's and the guy got us in and out right away without any problems. I honestly don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Jeremy for all his help. read more

I went to this Sam's club this morning Sunday March 15, 2020 to get toilet paper in this huge pandemic we have going on right now, here and around the world. Because of the fact that they had TP there was a huge line going from the doors opening all the way down the parking lot. The manager, I think his name was Dustin I'm not sure, had things completely under control! He would allow 10 people in at a time, have the carts all linedup and ready to go inside, and let that group get a min or two head start to get what they needed, and then let another group of people in. It worked out nicely, and he did a FANTASTIC job!! read more

This peanut butter recall ~ I bought the peanut butter that was recalled there ~ before I opened it I checked and the numbers corresponded to the recall so I called Sam's in Cheyenne and was told that expired 2 weeks ago or something like that ~ we are 70 miles one way to get there and my husband is having treatments and can't be around people during this time. I called and someone was going to call back and let me know what they could do and the call never came! So I am out of the money for that ~ so what did I save on my groceries when I purchased the peanut butter? I didn't like what they said on the news to immediately throw the peanut butter (I didn't personally hear it but a friend had the same problem and said she wouldn't throw money in the trash so why throw this without a refund ~ it wasn't her problem that the peanut butter was possibly tainted with something not good ~ especially for someone who has some serious issues) ~ so I guess I am out of the expense there ~ might have to rethink my trips to Cheyenne Sam's since with the money for gas and having to throw things out ~ I can buy cheaper locally! read more

You have to make an appointment to get a flat fixed in their ridiculous tire shop! I'm not sure I've ever scheduled a flat tire. Yet if you call they say bring it in, two opposing answers from the same dummy in tire and battery! I'll never buy tires from these incompetent morons ever again! read more

It's a standard Sam's Club. I remember when this location opened decades ago. It's pretty clean inside and the displays are organized to be very easy to find what you're looking for. The parking lot can be somewhat congested due to the amount of people there. read more
