I've had great service here in the past getting patches and plugs to my tires. Took my car in a few months ago to get 2 new tires. They gave me 2 new tires and a rotation. I ended up losing my front wheel covers and noticed that the rims were bent. Just took my car into a shop for the muffler and inspection and they noticed that all the rims were bent inside and outside. They bent my rims! read more

I came in with a bent rim causing my tire to go flat. The sales associate that helped me looked at it and instantly jumped to "nope can't fix it, you'll have to replace it". He said it was bent where the tire seals to the rim and it would never be perfect again. I'm sure because I'm a young female he tried getting one over on me. But I knew that where it was bent is in fact not where the tire seals to the rim. He then proceed to try to sell me 4 new aluminum rims because "these steal ones you have will all bend over time just from normal driving". Needless to say I left and went to Tire Discount House at Warren and Beech Daly where they gladly fixed my rim, and guess what I've been driving on it a week with no issues! Discount Tire you lost a customer, my $50 to fix the rim would of been better than no dollars but you just had to try to up sell me like most corporate chains do. read more

What a horrible experience. I woke up to a flat tire the day after Christmas and needed to get it fixed before heading back to Louisiana. Went in, and they we obviously busy, which I fine. Told the salesman I needed just a cheap new tire to get me home. He pointed out that I should get 4, I told him that wasn't in the budget right after Christmas, but I settled on two new front tires, because honestly the other tire was in bad shape. He informed me that the least expensive tires he could do would cost $240 for the two, and that it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours to get it done because it was so busy. I thought the price was high, but I needed the tires to get home so I decided to go ahead. Fast forward to 4 hours later when I called and my car still wasn't ready. I finally got the text that it was done about 20mins later. I picked up my car, just as they were closing. As I was driving I noticed my car pulling to one side and that my low tire pressure light wasn't going off. They obviously did not bother to balance the tires, and one was ridiculously low. When I opened my trunk, I find that they didn't even bother to put my spare back, but instead just threw it in my trunk. Disgusting. You would think that for those prices you would get top class service, however that is not the case. I will never go back there and will tell my friends and family in MI to stay away as well. read more

Excellent service especially from the manager Ryan. They are insanely busy this time of year and there had been lines outside the door before they even opened. I stopped in on three different occasions but didn't have the time to wait for my new tires. After talking to Ryan he made sure he could fit my repair in. He told me when to come in and took my car back for work immediately. Less than an hour later as promised I was all set. The guys in the shop are in early and stay until whatever time it takes to get the last car completed. I give them a lot of credit for how hard they work and they are still able to give great customer service! I recommend this shop 110%. read more

The low tire pressure light came on. These guys are set up for a 3 minute or less air supply fix. They keep the first bay open and you just drive in, a guy runs up and fills the tires. No questions, just smiles. This is the 4th time this car has been in here, although my first time. When I asked for the phone number to call about a tire quote, the guy filling the tires ran in and got the card, suggesting if we make an appointment, we can be quickly in and out. when i scrape the money for the tires, I will definitely be seeing if that is true. read more

I know i go there 2 a month sience 2009 ...Only the manager is old employee .. since 2009 .. rest of the guys ( under 25) ... buy 15 tires so far !!! But i am done with this store and maybe the brand ( discount tire ) ... bad experience broke my log nuts refuze to replace the one they broke !!!! I gone try costco or bell-tire !!!! I need to call corporate office to get reamburs for my oem locks on my car !!!! Every time i send my wife there !!! With small problem ... try to sell her new tires !!!! My husband and I needed tires and the sale rep was nice and helpful. However, when we got home I realized my iPhone charger was missing from the car. A week later my AC started to leak. I looked into it and for whatever reason they took out my AC filter (located no where near the tires). I replaced the filter but it won't stop dripping now. I called and they said too bad, someone must have stolen my $14 filter when I parked in the street. I left my number to speak to a manager and heard no word back. read more

Can't seal a tire to save their lives. Me and my mom both got are tires sealed at this location and we constantly have low tire pressure. They blame the rims and tires we bought but both the rims and tires where brand new. If you need your tires sealed and didn't buy the tires or rims from the location itself do not go here. read more

So when my low tire pressure warning came on for the second time in two weeks, I took my beloved Mustang in for a check. The attendant, Anthony was very friendly. Sent and employee up there for a plug in a tire that was running low on Friday 9/10 @ 330pm. The person at the counter said, we don't work on your vehicles. My employee said that he had cash from his manager (myself) and that he would pay that way. The employee basically said too bad and sent him on his way with a flat tire. What HORRIBLE SERVICE. What happened to this place. I've been buying tires here for at least the past 25 years. They were pretty good, now they have hit a new low. On my way to pick up machinery from a local rental company I notice a low tire. I pull up Discount Tires free tire check. Attendent says you have 10 psi in tire, but he cant fill it because it might explode on him.That he would have to take tire off pickup, then dismount from rim, check my sidewalls, reinstall tire on rim then back on pickup.Only then could he fill my tire to 32 psi. A free tire check has turned into a 35 to 45 dollar job, of course i left. What is the reason a person would come to a FREE TIRE CHECK, because they might need some air. I see why there is nowhere near as many customers as i used to see there. They just lost several more, Walmart here we come. Oh yeah, rental company offered air (really) for free. And, the tire didnt explode. A bunch of bologna, Discount must need the money very bad. read more

This place was the worse. when I arrived I was 4th in line to purchase tires. waited 11 min. then had sales person Adam. When i told him what tires i wanted he said they did not have tihose tires and tried to sell me more expensive tires. i explained that I had just looked on line and it said they had 3 in stock and I only needed 2. He said they do not sell those tires when I questioned him again he turned the computer screen towards me and said see we dont have them . I showed him that the top line had my requested tires. When he wrote up my order he added a service plan which I diod not ask for and I had to ask him to remove it 3 times before it was taken off my invoice. Work order was completed at 12:49 pm and I left this store at 305 pm. I was told it would take 1 hour to complete my job. Wreong mileage was written on work order. Shortly after my work order was placed 90 percent on the workers went to lunch leaving only 1 person working on cars plus the order writers. this place is the worst. read more
