I love Discount Tire! I bought a set of 4 and paid for the warranty, which is something I almost never do. It's a good thing I did! A couple of months later, I got a bolt through the sidewall of my tire. At that time, I did rideshare, and I didn't want to drive people with a temporary spare on my car. I arrived at Discount Tire less than 15 minutes before closing time and was expecting them to tell me to come back tomorrow. They didn't. They replaced my damaged tire with not a hint of complaint. They had to close a little later than their scheduled time to replace my tire, but they were very nice about it! I will never take any of my vehicles somewhere else if I can avoid it. read more

I was told I could get my flat tire fixed for free at the Del City Ok Discount Tire so I drove 30 miles and the worker started off rude telling me to take the wheels out of the vehicle and roll them into the garage which I did not do that is there job, so he got mad and refused to fix the tires and kept trying to sell me new tires. We were greeted as soon as they opened in order of our cars so that was nice. I stopped in at Discount Tire on Sooner Rd in Del City yesterday because I had a slow leak in one of my tires. They were pretty busy but still got me in and out in less than an hour. (you can also visit their website to schedule an appointment) They have a nice waiting area, although I opted to read my book & enjoy an iced Peppermint Bark Mocha on a comfy couch at Jitters Coffee Shop right next door! (they set up a text with you that keeps you informed on the status of your vehicle) There was a nail in my tire but they were able to repair & seal the tire (no charge!), although I did get my worn out windshield wipers replaced while I was there as well. Was then told that the tire could not be put on due to the tire not being wide enough to fit the wheel well(only one inch). The only option was to buy a tire that was double the price. I called in advance to make sure they had my tire in stock in case my flat couldn't be repaired which was the case. They don't enforce the mask even though they are trying to hand u one in MWC where mask mandate was lifted weeks ago .people are actually sitting outside wearing them. Great crew that are there to work, just like they're trained to do. They get the job done efficiently. The only thing is that DC trains their staff to convince customers that the tires with more thread should go in the rear to prevent fishtailing in slippery conditions. It will,but it's safer to have the better tires in the front. This will allow the driver to steer & have better braking control in water or slippery conditions. On most vehicles, tires wear quicker in front than rear due to braking, more front vehicle weight & steering(grinding against ground). So if you keep the "better" tires in the rear, you'll buy more front tires b/c they'll be worse than the rear. Possible tire sale for DC=more money for DC. Otherwise DC is OK. Just request to have better tires in the front if your vehicle allows it. read more

Discount (America's) Tire Co. does it again! Stellar service and price match will get me every time. Make an appointment for the best wait times however, usually an hour is enough for most repairs. Which they do free of charge! New Michelin Premier LTX made my '08 Santa Fe drive smooth as silk. Unlike the rough ride from the cheap Laufenn tires. I thought my shocks were gone until the new tires went on. Now I get a smooth ride and low noise oomph the beat up streets here in OKC. I have been purchasing tires and wheels from this company for over 20 years and it sure is nice to be out of state and just be able to drive into one of their shops and with just a phone number get top quality service. This place is trash. Purchased 4 new tires with 50k mile warranty. Come in today to fix a flat under warranty find out I need a new tire. Should be covered under warranty except now they're saying i was never sold a warranty. I was mad but purchased the $250 tire that should have been free. I get my truck back and all my tires are aired to 28lbs pressure except my new one which is where it should be at 34lbs. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. read more

They constantly try to sell you inappropriate tires for your needs. They also are not truthful about their tire certificates, or extended warranty, on tires. As a chain, I love Discount Tires. This location in particular has been great though. I brought a 88 year old woman here who was told she might have to replace a tire. I recommended she get a second opinion so we took a trip here based off my great experiences prior. Little old lady + tire she thinks is no good = easy sale. The mechanic who helped us was courteous and after checking everything out informed us she didn't need new tires at all. They were worn, but perfectly fine. Several months later I brought my wife's car in 15 minutes before they were supposed to close with a flat in the trunk. Friendly again, checked out the other 3, and even let me know they had the tire in stock in case it wasn't repairable. No indication of being put out or annoyed in the least. We bought the entire set of tires with a warranty, so when technician came back with the bad news it wasn't repairable, a $130+ bill only cost me $19 out of pocket for the warranty on the new tire. An additional perk of buying tires here is their multiple out of state locations. We've been in New Mexico & Texas and been able to get free service. Nothing but good things to say about these people. For the guy who gave them 3 stars because they didn't have WiFi, I'd suggest he find an Internet cafe, not a tire store. read more

I knew what tire size I wanted and expressed that over and over with the salesman. He kept insisting that the size i was asking for (a whopping 1" taller) would not fit without modifying my Jeep. I ended up letting him talk me into a different size that he said would still be bigger than my stock ones and not only are they not bigger, they are shorter (see photo). Not happy with this place. First I call in to order some tires. I know exactly what I want. Then they ask for a deposit to order the tires. Ok fine, so I get out my credit card. no, you have to come into the store. Ok fine, get there and it was quite busy, but after standing there for 10 minutes, an available associate who was helping a previous customer who had just left, turn around and walked out to the shop, left me standing there for another 10 minutes. 3 strikes your out. Never will do business with ANY discount tire again due to these bozos. I called Big O tires and they ordered exactly what I wanted over the phone, no deposit, be here tomorrow, should have went to them first.
