Had some custom wheels installed a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately they were out of the TPMSsensors required so they ordered them in. The appointment took longer than it really should have but that's life. When I went back to get the TPMS installed, they absolutely made things more than right for me. More than right! Apologized for my having slow service the first time and put me at the head of the line. Old school customer service and then some! I'll buy my next tires from there for sure. Discount tire does free tire puncture repairs for small air leaks which is how I first heard of them. They are always super helpful and professional. Recently, I needed new tires before my trip to California and I called to order some and make an appointment. I prepaid because they were the last four tires in stock, but come the day of the appointment they noticed a factory defect with one of the tires. Instead of postponing my appointment til they got more tires in stock they just upgraded me to better tires for no extra charge. Will definitely continue coming here as long as I live near a Discount Tire. read more

I brought my Audi SQ5 to Discount Tire, and they caused thousands of dollars in damage by incorrectly lifting it. Instead of using the proper jack points, they missed all four, which led to cracked plastic, bent metal, a crushed pinch weld, and damage to the rocker panel. Despite my background as a former Discount Tire employee and Volkswagen technician, they refused to acknowledge the mistake and made it a hassle to get the repairs covered. It took repeated calls to corporate before they finally agreed to pay for the repairs. This isn't the first time this has happened--they've damaged one of my previous vehicles the same way. I firmly believe that many customers don't realize Discount Tire is damaging their cars like this, because it's not always immediately visible. Update: After all that trouble, this location has now decided they won't work on my vehicle again--apparently because they know I'll notice if they cause more damage. It's disappointing, especially as a former employee, but I guess that tells you all you need to know. If you know anything about cars, take your business elsewhere--or at the very least, closely inspect your vehicle after every visit. read more

Not sure why the Discount store at 101 Fossil Creek pkwy in Fort Collins isn't popping up here on Yelp, but I'll still go ahead and post under this store as I've never not had an excellent experience at any Discount Tire or America's Tire (pretty sure same company different name) after having utilized them in the ten states I've lived in over the last 30 yrs... Yesterday while getting an oil change at Pederson Toyota, they told me I had a nail in my almost brand new tire. The Toyota dealer told me it couldn't be repaired bc it was too close to the sidewall and quoted me $300+ to replace. This is a new car to me and the previous owner bought the tires at Sam's Club. But I'll only always buy tires at Discount. So I headed over to Discount on Fossil Creek and the tech, Spencer (who knew I hadn't even bought the tires at Discount), came back after about 20 minutes, said, I don't want to question the dealer, but we have very strict standards and that nail was within what we consider safe. He handed me the keys and said, "You're ready to go, no charge." He'd already repaired it and didn't even charge me?! That was free to me, but they had to take up a bay and pay their techs to repair my tire, but they'll make up for it 100 fold as I continue to buy sets of tires for every car in my household for the next 30 years. I made an appointment online about a week in advance. Appreciated the appt reminders, the "let us know when you're on your way" text to get an estimated wait time, etc. When I walked in, there was a young man who asked how he could help me. His shirt said his name was Billy. I let him know that I was here for an appointment (the type of appointment was NEW TIRE CONSULTATION). He pulled up my account history, told me what type of tires I bought last time, and told me that I could be out the door for $xxx price. I asked him if we could slow down a little and talk through the options and types of tires. He told me it would be unsafe to get another option and he had nothing else in stock anyways. I asked if maybe I should come back a different time when they were less busy, and he laughed at me and told me this wasn't busy. I said "ok, well last time I was here the salesman was a bit more patient with me and explained all of the options, and this isn't feeling that way. This is a big purchase and I'd like to talk through it." With a blank stare, he said "what do you want to talk about?". I tried a couple more times to coax a more consultation/education type of conversation out of him and was getting nothing. I really needed the new tires and felt like this morning was my only opportunity, so I just agreed to the purchase. He was impatient and frustrated to explain the charges and made me feel dumb and like a bother. He took my keys and told me to have a seat. I went outside to wait and kept feeling more and more uncomfortable with the sale, and like I was rushed into a decision. I was disappointed to see people around me being really thoroughly and patiently helped, talking about options, and that was not my experience. Another employee walked by and I worked up the nerve to ask to chat. I let him know about my extremely uncomfortable experience and that I was regretting my purchase. He introduced himself as Spencer, empathized with the situation, apologized for the experience, and kindly invited me inside to talk through options. He slowly went through every detail and showed me the Treadwell system of my options. Spencer repeatedly asked if I had any questions through the process, asked me questions to know what type of driving I did, and patiently went through everything. I ended up sticking with the tires that I had paid for with Billy, BUT I know felt comfortable with my purchase thanks to Spencer. I am really grateful for the peace of mind and knowledge that Spencer shared with me and I think he's a great asset to your business. I hope no one ever feels bullied into a sale or dismissed the way that I was with Billy today. read more

Location is clean and bright. Have been a customer here off and on for many years. Service is always quick and friendly. They have provided quality products for decent prices. On my most recent time in I had gotten a flat, a screw was in my tire. I called to see if they did flat repair and what they charge. They are no cost for flat repair if they can fix it. They go out and check your tires and get your milage. There was a lot of people there that day so i opted to get picked up by family and come back to grab my car when it was done. They communicate quite effectively by text to let you know where work is standing. I would definitely come back in the future when having tire needs. read more

This place is a joke! Beware of cheap brands here.. I purchased a set of 4 tires that wore down in only 1 year with only 7000 miles. Then they said since I didn't regularly rotate them they couldn't do anything for me, that's unfortunate then I asked to get an alignment done while I waited and they completely lied to me & said they put it up on the rack and because it was a foreign car they couldn't do an alignment. Typical Discount Tire, which means excellent service, good prices. I've always been very satisfied with every location I've been to. Better than Walmart or Sam's Club (former places I used to get tires). They only have 2 guys working the whole garage and it takes you forever to get your tires done. At Discount, they have like 6 bays open and an army of guys working. Plus you can make appointments ahead of time. I got there at opening for four brand new tires that I had purchased through their website the night before. In at 8:00, out by 8:55. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? I've been going to this location for around 6 years or so; solid staff, they get super busy though, so be patient. I ordered 5 wheels & tires (a set of 4 and a spare) a few weeks ago and originally the order didn't go through because the wheels ordered weren't manufactured anymore. Upon going back to check up on my order the next week (that didn't go through), Amanda helped me out, doing a bunch of on-the-spot computer work, made calls and set everything right. Got the wheels and tires installed a week later, but the fifth wheel wasn't there, so it had to get ordered again. I was supposed to receive a phone call when it arrived, but didn't; a week went by so I dropped back in to confirm if the last wheel / tire arrived. Lucas helped me out and confirmed it had been delivered the week prior, but wasn't on site, instead it was at a nearby storage area. So, today I dropped in to see if it was on site, Lucas helped me out again, saying he picked it up on his way to work and put it all together before the store opened. Solid! Amanda and Lucas are super awesome and this 5 star review goes to them specifically. This is a great location, regardless of the hiccups and I'll definitely keep going back. read more

I dropped off my keys and told them to take all the time they needed. They replaced all 4 tires in just an hour (I was expecting to wait several days). Went in this am to have air pressure checked on tires. Gentleman named Kyle was taking names to expedite service...they were busy. I felt awkward asking about an air check. Kyle nicely directed me to their air check area, came out when he was done (maybe 5 minutes). Checked all 4 tires...and sent me a thank you email afterward. I cannot say enough about the customer service here! I had a flat tire and was close to needing all new tires anyway. Drove to the store and arrived at 5:20. (They close at 6 pm). I believe the young man that helped me was named Kalin but everyone was super friendly. He did a consultation on my tires, made recommendations and I was set with four new tires by about 6:07. Stopped in to have the low air pressure light on the dashboard staying on. Employee helping me determined it was a sensor in the left rear tire that needed replacing. Took me into the office to get a price quote and gave me the number. Returned this morning to have it replaced and was unhappy to hear he didn't bother to tell me the price did not include labor. I paid the bill and mentioned the original quote but it was not honored. I will not be back and will advise friends that need tires of my experience. read more

I cannot say enough about the quality of service I received here. A few nights ago my wife had a blowout on her Fiat 500x. We had ii towed to Discount Tire and all seemed well. Turns out her car has locking lug nuts that we were never given the key for, despite buying it brand new. Elijah at Discount was communicative and thorough and seemed genuinely disappointed that he couldn't be more help. After numerous, pointless conversations with Fiat/Jeep/Dodge service departments in which I learned I could neither replace the key or definitely be able to have the locks removed at a dealer, I came back to Discount where I gave Riley permission to try and break the locks even if it damaged the rims. Riley tried and tried to no avail and again seemed to really care that he wasn't able to help further. My wife finally found someone with a particular lock breaking skill set and we got the nuts off. At this point, Discount was able to have our tires replaced within an hour and a half. I have rarely dealt with a staff so completely committed to customer care. I won't buy tires anywhere else from here on out. read more

Now it's been a month and despite a promise of replacement I still don't have my trailer wheel or tire back. They promise to call me and then I hear crickets. Two years ago, I got a nail in my tire and it was irreparable. They put the donut on for me and ordered my new tire. It was a decent price and the salesman let me get certificates for repair, refund, or replacement on all 4 of my tires even though I was just buying the one tire from them. Today, I went in because of a slow leak in one of my tires. I got there just before the huge rush but they were very attentive with everyone and you could tell they were doing their absolute best to ensure everyone was being helped and thanking people for their patience. It took about 30 minutes, maybe less - my tire was repairable this time! They took the piece of metal out and repaired my tire at no charge.
