My wife and I were on a long trip and got a flat tire. Had the vehicle towed to a Costco only to find out that the last time I had the tires rotated by our service shop they neglected to put the special lug nut key back in the glove compartment. Costco is not able to remove these. Had to spend the night in a hotel until a dealership opened up in the morning. They did not carry the lug nut key! Contacted Les Schwab nearby and they were able to send Noah over to the Costco, plug the tire, fill it up with air so I could drive it across the street. Angel was a huge help and did everything to get the tires replaced so we could get back on the road. Best experience ever..... came from California. Went to Ford dealership waited 4 hours to have oil change. After all that they said there was a bolt in my tire and wanted to charge me $40. Went to Les Schwab and the young man Alexander.... not only fixed the tire that had a bolt in it informed me that there was a piece of metal in another tire and he took care of that as well. Nice tires. Nice initial service. Nice people. Crappy management of follow-up appointments. They will tell you that tire rotations are free, so I wanted to bring them my oil change and other maintenance business while I was getting the tires rotated. They BLEW IT. After an hour waiting, they still had not honored my appointment time. Went to Grease Monkey down the road and was out (with NO appointment) in 20 minutes. Lesson... when people or businesses think they are indispensable and that you "need them," you will find that you can go elsewhere to someone less cocky and get better service and better prices. Horrible experience with this store. Went in for an alignment and rotation. After the first time they completed the alignment the front end stated chattering when driving. When I brought it back a second time a week later they said it need to be aligned again and the wheel bearing were bad and quoted me $1,100. After several conversations with the manager they were not even willing to check the balance of the wheels without a $75 charge. I took the car too the dealership, the car was still out of alignment and the chattering was because they had not tightened and installed all of the lug nuts (some were missing). The manger quoted me $1,100 to replace the wheel bearings, when the actual problem was there poor workmanship. I question if they are that dishonest or just incompetent. I did my tie rods myself and the photo where the bellows look pretty is what they looked like when I finished the job. After doing my tie rods I went to get an alignment and the after photos are how they look after returning the vehicle to me. I noticed this on a Sunday, so they are closed. If the issue is resolved in a satisfactory manor, my review will be modified. In my first experience with Les Schwab, I would say they do not deserve the reputation of having high quality work. read more

This is by far the friendliest place with the best customer service in all of Northern Colorado. I've been here several times, and every visit has been such a positive experience. The staff is always so kind, take the time to explain things clearly, and as a woman, I truly appreciate that I never feel taken advantage of because of my limited car knowledge. Today, I stopped in for a walk-in appointment and had to wait for a part (which I completely understood and was happy to be patient). Honestly I know NOTHING about cars, so it's really hard to trust places like this due to the common stereotypes. However my tire popped close by and they were able to accommodate me day of. Other reviews complaining about timing is actually a good sign. They take their time with each and every car and are busy due to them being trustworthy. They provide a list of fair broken down quotes and help explain any charge you can see on them. My six year old tires were balding and honestly needed replacing a long time ago. My own dealership didn't even catch that, and I sure as hell wasn't going to myself. Full four tire replacement for my Volkswagen Beetle (a very niche car) was ranging from $800-$1000. The only critique I could give is some side eye from the staff, I'm sure seeing a person knowing nothing about cars is tiresome, however it shouldn't be met with judgement . I went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and fixing a flat but when I asked about the brakes after I already paid. The man helping me said they never took off the wheels. So tell me how can you rotate the tires and fix a flat without taking off the wheels? The man slipped up and he knew it. He had the manager refund me for the rotation. These guys are great! Not only did they help me diagnose my battery was dead but also adjust my rear drum brakes on my old GMC. Along with that they did the alignment for next to nothing. They saved me lots of money compared to a repair shop on my suspension and fixing those rear break drums and the vehicle is running better because of it. Thank you. read more

Imagine dealing with my daughter totaling her car car the night before and having to rush around with the one remaining car...with the sudden loss of air making it impossible to get to appointments..I was thrilled to get it filled and was encouraged to let them repair it, I just had to wait a little while but I would be out in half an hour. Insurance adjuster, babysitter, one thing after another I had to deal with. I would have paid for a new tire or rescheduled my appointments if they would just be direct...I eventually asked for the car back so I could deal with all the issues...I was puzzled by some sneering woman more concerned with going around and around and detailing the check in process and all the cars ahead of me..I get it but safety and keeping my priorities straight were all I was focused on...the reason for this review? If you find yourself needing tire work, I highly recommend this place. It is super clean, the people are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. My vehicle tire pressure light came on and I was worried I had hit a sharp object. I brought it in and they were done in about 90 minutes. They said they checked all four tires and didnt find anything. They filled all low tires and sent me on my way with popcorn and coffee. There was no cost to me! I came in on a Saturday to get my brakes done. They told me I need an appointment - ok. The best date and time was a Tuesday at 3pm. I had to leave work early to get there. When I arrived on Tuesday ,they did not have my appointment in the computer. I have never used Les Schwab before, and guess what, I never will. Careful about this place!!! I called with a flat tire and gave the make, model, year, etc of my car. They(Lacey) told me the tire size I needed and that it was in stock. However that was not the case. I paid to get my vehicle towed here only to get it towed to discount tire. I can assure you that their faulty system and staff will waste your time. I trust the guys on 65th to do a better job and I am bummed out that their good reputation falls short once you try another location. read more

The customer service is top notch and they go out their way to help! Over the summer I took in 2 riding mower tires because I was having a hell of time mounting / seeding them on my own. They worked them in quickly and didn't charge me! Not only that but they were able to recycle the old tires free of charge also! Shortly after, I switched to them from Discount Tire. I came here to have my flat tire fixed. My car was in worse shape because of poor alignment and I had to replace all four tires. The crew here really took the time to help me understand why I needed new tires and the customer service really impressed me. I was very thankful to have my car so well taken care of. Best Customer Service in a long long time! I needed to have a flat repaired and placed back on my truck along with the spare tire placed back for the next emergency. My son insisted that I go to Les Schwab because of their excellence in service. I arrived first thing in the morning and there were already 8 vehicles ahead of mine, was told I will have a long wait, which I expected. My truck was finished 2.2 hours later, sooner than I expected and they did not charge me for the repair. WOW, I will be purchasing my next set of tires from Les Schwab and choose the Colorado All Terrains that Tyler (my service man) suggested. As I was driving off, a peculiar sound from my car concerned my boyfriend and I. We pulled to the side of the road immediately to see what was the cause. Our mouths dropped as we saw the most derived of life tire. With no air left in it to breathe and perform its daily abilities, My boyfriend put the spare tire on immediately. We came to the conclusion that a nail had stabbed itself into my youthful tire. We drove to costco where I had gotten my tires right after to see if they could repair and patch up my tire. The mechanic had told me that it would not be done until the end of the night when they closed at 8:30. Worrisome and Anxiety covered my face as I had work at 4 hours. What was I to do? My boyfriend's mom had recommended Les Schwab across the street. We drove carefully to their shop. Les Schwab was just as busy if not more as Costco. As soon as we got out of the car, A caring mechanic greeted us immediately asking us what we were in need of. He directed us to the front table, where we filled out information and they took my keys. My boyfriend and I walked to Walmart to spare time as we waited for my car. They only took 30 minutes or so to fix it. They even took out all my things in the back of my car to put my spare tire back in the correct spot. Les Schwab proved that my rear passenger tire still had hope and life and that it would still be able to bring me to work tonight. All for free! Thanks to Les Schwab for making my day. read more

Great experience. Jordan walked out to meet me at my truck before I even finished parking. We walked in and got checked in very quickly. They removed a screw and patched my tire almost before I had a chance to sit down. They checked all the other tires carefully even though I hadn't asked. Very nice waiting room with free coffee and popcorn. Big windows so you can see what's happening to your vehicle on the shop floor. Very clean and well organized shop floor. Extremely nice and professional staff. To top it all off, the tire repair was complimentary. I'll be coming back here for my needs in the future. read more

Very disappointed. I have used them several times for new tires, etc. I liked the new "appointment" service that they are now offering. Went in last week to set an appointment for an alignment. Arrived today 5 minutes early and was told that it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Left my car there and returned 50 minutes later to find that they hadn't even taken my car back. WOW. To add insult to injury, the man who had set my appointment last week and the girl who told me that it would be done in an hour didn't seem to be concerned at all. Just kind of shrugged their shoulders and said "There were a couple of cars ahead of you". DOUBLE WOW!!! Didn't apologize, didn't seem to care that I wanted my keys and wouldn't be back. First time visit for a brake inspection/consultation. I know I need front brakes for my Miata but their policy, they told me, is to replace calipers too..whether they need replacing or not. Mine do not. At $142 ea just for the parts, I would have to pay $284, not including their labor charge for something that is not needed at this time...I can understand if I needed it..as I maintain my car beautifully. Ridiculous. Charging customers for something that they don't need. That is one way to lose potential customers..which they did here..a shame because the customer service was A+. I since have taken it to two other very reputable brake specialist shops for estimates who both stated no replacement of calipers needed and they warranty all their work as well as have 5 star ratings. read more

I would like to warn everyone of the common mechanic scam these guys put on. I have a 2017 f250 which has been threw three different stores. They installed the wrong dual steering stabilizer which in turn ruined my steering box and eventually Mark at this timnath store figured out why it kept blowing struts on the stabilizer. The previous store had installed a six inch lift stabilizer and not a two inch lift stabilizer. My tires have been wearing very bad, I spent 1800 dollars for them and he said no way will they cover that even though it's there fuck up! After fixing this he proceeded to tell me my pitman arm to sway bar was bad and my upper outer tie rod! The truck had been in the shop twice and an alignment done before this. Funny thing is my co worker who just installed brand new parts on his dodge took it in for an alignment and mark told him the same thing. I am highly disappointed with the service and scamming of these people. This is why people don't trust mechanics even though there are good ones out there but scamming people is bullshit and I will post on every board I can to make sure no one gets scammed by these crooks. read more

Made an appointment almost a week in advance to put snow tires on. Didn't get car in until an hour after the appointment time. I understand it snowed the day before (not known when I made appointment), and they were busy but that's why I made an appointment. Lies, incompetence and deception based upon my experience on 7-23-2018. Had done repairs on Wife's car which require alignment after. Dropped off car, showed them what car it was etc. Get home and they call to say they do not have the equipment to align that make/model. OK, no worries I understand some cars require special tools. BUT...... I get there and ask them how they do not have the equipment, yet charged me for and allegedly completed an alignment on that exact car 3 months prior...!?! Person behind counter could not answer me. In fact, he stated he personally completed my previous alignment and didn't understand how/why he was able to complete and charge me for it previously. To avoid verbally assaulting the staff, I held back and politely left after no offer to remedy the previous alleged service was discussed. I went home and reached out to their corporate customer service. I have not heard anything from them in a week, which is the only reason I am writing this review. It appears as though they are not working in any interest of the customer, but merely looking for the almighty dollar. Corporate does not appear to be much better than the local shop by their lack of any response. So, I am now paying other shops I trust to re-do the alignments on my 3 vehicles I have had done there. Les Schwab's alignments did not noticeably improved their driveability, which is questionable in itself. This experience exemplifies why I have repaired my own vehicles for 30 years. My automotive expertise is ASE certified level, therefore I definitely can tell if I am being conned or outright told a line of BS from a mechanic.
