I don't live in Wisconsin, but I came to this Discount Tire for an emergency situation after my steering wheel suddenly began shaking. I had a 5+ hour drive home that same day and specifically requested that the wheels be balanced and the one bad tire be replaced. Initially, they declined to do what I requested. After speaking with my dad over the phone, they agreed to replace a tire. However, once I got home and we removed all four wheels, we discovered that the tire they replaced was not the tire that actually had the issue. They had also added a significant amount of wheel weights to the problematic wheel without explaining this to me. All four of my Michelin tires had been balanced within the past year and previously only had a small amount of weight on each wheel, so seeing that many weights added to a single wheel was concerning and appeared to indicate an issue with that tire. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. The staff appeared to focus on some existing cosmetic damage to one of the rims and suggested that may have been the cause of the vibration. They also informed me that the problem would not be fully resolved, which left me wondering why the actual source of the vibration was not addressed. The steering wheel shake disappeared for roughly 350 miles after I left, then returned. I understand they were likely trying to help me get home safely, but I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed and that the root cause of the problem was never properly addressed. For an emergency situation where I was relying on their expertise, the communication and diagnosis were disappointing. I do want to add that the staff were very friendly, professional, and quick to help. Given that I was dealing with an unexpected issue while traveling, I appreciated that they got my vehicle into the shop right away and worked to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. My disappointment is not with how I was treated personally, but with the communication and the fact that the underlying issue was not properly identified or resolved. read more

Came in for tire rotation and balance. All I got was recommendation for new tires and it'll solve the problem. Got the car back with steering wheel shaking even more violently. Took it to my friend and we rotated tires ourselves and the shaking went away. Needless to say we were better than discount tire. Waste of time setting appointment. read more

Was able to pick it up before I left for work the next morning, no charge to patch it and replace the spare with the original. Kyle at discount tire is one of the most fantastic people I have ever met. I arrived the first time unprepared and he didn't dumb me down. I then showed back up ready to get a new tire thrown on, but we then ran into a problem of me ordering the wrong tire size. Long story short is that Kyle expended every option he had, and got me a new tire on my car for the next week, so I can later come in a finish my process next week. Fantastic experience at this location today. Pros: While I was there I was helped by 3 gentlemen - all three were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. AJ was amazing! He went ridiculously above and beyond all expectation to help me. I didn't even ask - he saw that he could give me better than I called to request at a much better cost, so he offered it. Facility is clean and comfortable with ample sitting/waiting areas and complimentary coffee and cold water. They even let my well-behaved little dog hang out with me while I waited. Ordered new rims for my Jeep on Dec. 18. Told me they would take about 5 days to come in. Taking out Christmas Eve and Christmas day, it's been 7 business days. I called today and talked to the person who was supposed to order them. Well guess what, they forgot to order the rims. Now I have to wait another week and my vacation is over. I am going to see if I can get the rims sooner somewhere else. Plus, I was going to get new tires on another car at Discount Tires. Not going to happen. Guy on the phone was not very customer friendly. Not happy at all. ***Rims came in and they installed them right away. Waived the install fee for the inconvenience. Ok so this place is really nice it's clean and if I needed to I could get my tires replaced that day. Well there slogan is that they will not be undersold and they are the cheapest place that's a BIG FAT NOPE! I had to get my front 2 tires replaced and decided to check them out after some went out of my price range and they will apparently not be undersold. Well guess what they are and where undersold I ended up going to Sams Club and for the same tires the quoted me on where almost $100 cheaper. read more

Just wanted to drop a note & say everyone from the guy that checked me in to the guys out in the bay treated me extremely well. I ordered some Continental DWS for my 22's on my Lincoln online. Put the order in online and made a apt for tomorrow 12/8/20 then realizing due to my work schedule I couldn't make that apt. From the date of my review. My orders already been completed prior to my apt. Tires arrived to the store same day as they did not have them in stock. I work at Veriozn. Being it's the holidays I'm working a lot of hours and finding time to get anything done is near impossible. They made great use of my time that I had. Gave me the choice to drive up and wait for a bay to become available or wait for my apt. I chose to drive up. They accommodated me in a timely manner. Great team and place y'all running here. Told my friend about them and though she didn't have money right then and there for new tires (her tire blew on her nearby there) they sent her home with a complimentary used tire that would get her where she needed to go til she could come back and afford to get new tires.
