Winter is approaching, and I want to ensure that my tires are properly maintained, which is why I contacted a professional. I scheduled an appointment online, and the process was simple. After you book, it will send you a text message as a courtesy follow-up and a reminder. When my appointment was approaching, I checked in via the URL provided by text message. The URL is also used to track the status of the vehicle; it's a great tool if I was going to drop off my vehicle but instead decided to wait. Even though I had made an appointment, I had to wait in line to be served. I don't see the benefit. Tim eventually assisted me. He walked over to my car to assess the tire. He used a gadget to check the tire tread to see if the condition was safe to drive in. After the examination, two of the front tires were in poor condition. So I had it replaced the same day; they were so efficient that I had my car within an hour; I expected to stay longer because of how busy they were. It's strange that the tire pressure indicator is still on. I did follow their instructions to drive around for at least 15-20 minutes to reset it. I'll have to deal with this tomorrow. Edit: I discovered that the tire pressure light had not been adjusted because the tire in the rear had a low air pressure of roughly 5 PSI. I took my car in for tire repair. Basically to remove the nail and patch it. The tires are less than 2 years old purchased from the same store. The kid at the store looks at the tire and says it is repairable, until he extends his hand-held device to the tire. He then asks when the tire was rotated, who changes the oil...? Because the tire is newly purchased with a warranty from them, repairing it does not make economic sense to them. But when they replace it for "free", they would make money from the mandatory extended warranty that I would have to purchase on the new tire. I told the kid I am not replacing the tire now. He said the tire won't last for long as it is worn unevenly and extended his hand-held device once more to the tire and bringing back out showed me a perfectly taken photo of a tire taken in a studio with a cut in between the thread of the tire. The lighting of the photo was perfect and so was the focus of the picture. The tire in the photo had a different thread pattern and no nail in it. Folks, try taking a picture of your tire in any light setting while the tire is still mounted on your car. There is no way you can get perfectly focused and lit photo of the tire from 2 inches away. The camera won't even be able to focus. It would be challenging. I left to repair the tire elsewhere. Stay away from them for a while until some of these employees are gone. I've bought a lot of tires here, but if you don't buy from them they won't service your tires. They'll find any wear on your tires and tell you, "it wouldn't be safe for us to service them." A HUGE thanks to RAMIRO for taking a 2 1/2" screw out of my front passenger tire. I just had the oil changed and the mechanic noticed the screw and was afraid to pull it out in case it was thru the tire. I went back to just tires where I had the rotation done and lucky for me RAMIRO asked if he could help me! He pulled the screw out and checked for leaks and I was on my way. we y to this shop because I had a slow leak on one of my tires. I told them it was a rectal so I wasn't going to buy a new tire. just patch this one. They told me it had a nail and that I couldn't be fixed. I said fine, I'll just take it back to rental place. They refused to put the tire back on the vehicle, instead they put on the spare. When I got the car back I realized they had also left the tire off the rim, what a dick move. I work for Uber so I had to scramble to find another shop that did it for $20. I had prepaid my tires when I dropped my car off at 3:30 in afternoon and watched people come and go and now 6:00pm and they haven't even took my car in to put tires on. It took me asking why and they gave me some excuse that they take cars in 15 min slots. But couldn't say why everyone who walked in at 5 pm were already gone and me who got here at 3:30 is now just getting taken care of at 6:15!!!!! read more

Set up my appointment for Monday 10/28 and he helped take care my tire change. Explained the entire process including 2 rebates that I was eligible for with my purchase. I am a manager myself do I know good people when I see them. I just bought a new car and I was looking to get some aftermarket wheels for it. I started working with Mike a couple of weeks ago and he helped me find the wheels I wanted that were not part of his standard inventory. I showed him a picture and said that are not on your website he responded I can get them. As we worked through some options and offsets Mike and the team were very professional and patient not only with me but with every customer they interacted with and every phone call they took. No matter how busy they were they answered the phone the same way. Very impressive, good team, good store! I hope the DM reads this.... As a matter of fact as I'm writing this review I have to add that these guys put the wheels on my BMW years ago and wheels and tires on my moms car as well. Now its the only place I will go. After I searched their website, i was disappointed the site showed they no longer carried the Michelin LTX M/S tires in the size I needed, but I had chosen a couple of other brands that were similar to the current Michelins that I have on my Expedition. When I got there, I gave Justin my info (I have used this store in the past) and he looked at the current stock and found they had 4 of the LTX's in stock that were the right size for the truck and there was a current sale going on for Michelin. He told me I would have to wait about an hour for install start to finish, I said "Yes, let's get this done" ( I got there at about 1:50 pm and I was rolling out of the parking lot by 2:55 pm.) During install one of the techs came out to let me know that my 11 year old factory wheels were showing some corrosion, don't know if he was just being informative or trying to up-sell me new wheels, but when I said just clean them up the best you can and put them back on he said "Yes Sir" and we will be done in about 15 minutes.(Sorry I didn't catch his name, so give him a Thanks from me.) Now I have been dealing with Discount tires for about 25 plus years (various stores depending on my home location) and I have never had a bad experience yet. Gave Discount Tire a call to see how much it would cost to get a rim leak fixed on one of my tires. I spoke to the manager Tim. To my surprise and disbelief I was told the repair would be free. I questioned this several times, fully expecting a bait and switch. Not only that, I was told I could walk in and be out In about an hour. I drove right over and they fixed the tire no problem and on time. I knew the tread on my tires were low and when Tim told me about it he wasn't pushy about selling the new tires, just very informative, which I appreciate. He quoted me three cost levels and gave me his recommendation. I could not be happier with this place and I will definitely using this location for all of my family's vehicles for the foreseeable future. You don't see service like this anywhere anymore. This is an update. I have sung praises about this location to many people. Always fast and courteous. BUT today was a very disappointing experience. I had a 9:30 appointment to get 1 tire replaced. Arrived about 9:35. They said about an hour! for one tire. Guess what? It was an hour and a half!! When I mentioned this was the longest I ever waited, mgr. said it depends who is in front of you. No, I had an appointment. If you are backed up, I need to know that. If you did not have room for an appointment at that time, I should have been told at the time I made it. I have gotten 4 tires done in less time. This was a weekday morning. Only 1 or 2 people waiting. Empty bays when I parked my car before entering. Very disappointing! read more

This store is horrible! I called to bring in my vehicle in for a pair of tires which were needed in an emergency situation from a tire that was splitting and about to give out. Found out there was a 3 hour wait and they recommended I come in first thing the next morning. I did that and found out there was now a 4 hour wait. I had to work (from home) and didn't have a ride so I dropped it off and walked 3+ miles home and came back the same distance on foot to pick it up. When I dropped it off I asked them to check one of the good tires that was staying on the vehicle for a leak and suspected nail or screw. That leaking tire was going to be taken off and rotated anyhow. That leaking tire was from a set of four I previously purchased from the same Discount Tire store and I purchased the road hazard warranty on it. I asked 3 times and no one checked out the leak and they sent me on my merry way. 3 days later, the tire was completely flat. I inspected and found a screw. This should have been fixed under warranty when I purchased the 2 new tires. This should have been looked at as I requested when the car was in the shop for the 2 new tires. Due to work, I don't have another 4+ hours to lose and another 6+ miles of walking, so I decided to plug it myself. I do know my tire warrantee is now void because I used a tire repair plug on it. So unnecessary! What is the point of paying extra for a warrantee when they refuse to inspect your fast leaking tire when you bring it in and ask them to? The time before this fiasco, when I bought my original four tires there, they sent me on my merry way after they broke off 2 studs removing the lug nuts. They refused to rectify the damage they caused to my wheels and sent me off to drive unsafely and told me to take it to a mechanic to get fixed at my expense. Hanover Park Discount tires sucks!
