I am a long time loyal customer - today's fiasco sealed the deal! I drive professionally all over the greater Indianapolis area, and today the construction downtown finally nailed me! I had just had brand new tires and rims installed less than a month ago; today a hidden curb ripped the sidewall open (irreparable). They close a little early on Saturday, but I caught someone and begged for a solid favor - this is my business after all! Despite having closed 10 min earlier, they agreed to take care of my car within an hour. At first I was freaked out about having to shell out another couple hundred dollars I didn't have budgeted, and then they told me that I had total coverage warranty with the new tires and rims, and to renew was less than $20!!! You guys saved my @$$ in more than one way today - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! read more

I made an appointment for 1PM to have two front tires replaced because of pot hole damage to one. I was there at 5 minutes til. The guy looked me up in the computer by my phone number and told me it would be an hour. They didn't even move my car into the bay until 1:45PM and it wasn't done until 2:20PM. One third more than an hour. When a customer makes an appointment we expect there to be an open bay, tires and a tire guy waiting to honor the appointment time. I did my part and was there five minutes early. This is no way to run a business and get repeat customers! read more

Kyle was not helpful on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 12pm. Earlier this week, I was told they could work me in for a RETURN VISIT since last week's appointment didn't work. My van's balance was TERRIBLE after the supposed rotation and balance. However, now I'm told that it's a 4 hour wait. How is that "working in" a return customer? This is awful customer service! They have good tires but it's not worth the hassle. read more

Fast, friendly, informative. I arrived when they opened and was out of there with a new tire in 17 minutes. Jory took great care of me at the counter. The tire came off of a new vehicle with no road hazard warranty. I obviously purchased road hazard on the new tire but since the vehicle was new, Jory sold me road hazard on the other three original tires. I have always used a competitor for tires but Discount Tire had what I needed in stock which I was able to see online. They certainly gained my business moving forward. read more

I recently tried going elsewhere for tires and had a horrible experience. I don't know why I didn't go to Discount Tires right away, never again!!! Every time I go I have the best experience!! I've had a few experiences with these guys and the results have always ended good in the end. They have competitive prices which are tough to beat but once in a while you can do better... When they did some tires for my truck they damaged one of my alloy wheels. Bad form for not telling me they damaged it but they did take responsibility for their work when I brought it to their attention when I was going over their work. They ordered me a new wheel quickly and got me all set. Recently I came in to order a set of snows for my car and they only could get their hands on 2 of the 4 I needed. Mike P literally called 20 of their stores for me to try and track down another two. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful but I really appreciated the effort! I was able to source a couple on my own and they put the whole package for me together as soon as all the parts came together. They even knocked off a few bucks on the wheels and the roadforce balance which was a nice gesture that I really appreciated. read more

Had an appt for 11:30 but when I returned at 12:20 the car hadn't even been pulled into a stall yet. Also, received an unsatisfactory response from the technician I talked to who basically said they were working on other cars so too bad for me. What's the point of having an appointment if you can't get to a vehicle for an hour? My recommendation is to look elsewhere for your tires read more

I was headed home and my tire pressure warning lit up. I made it to Discount a few minutes after they closed, but they were still in the shop closing up. I popped in and explained that I was just dropping of my car so they'd have it first thing. The manager, Dennis was nice enough to take my info and even offered to store my car inside the garage rather than leave it outside overnight. They said they look at it first thing and give me a call. The next day it turns out the tire was just low on air, and the sudden temperature drop caused the sensor to come on. They checked all the tires to be sure nothing else was wrong. I'm glad it turned out like it did and they didn't have to replace any tires. The only negative was the manager said he'd call me first thing in the morning to let me know what was going on. But by 11:00 am I hadn't been contacted and had to call them. I will continue to use Discount and will always get the tire protection insurance. read more

Skip this place!!! This is my 4th attempt to have my tires rotated and balanced. Had a 3pm appointment but when arrived they didn't have in computer; said they would take care of me within the hour...it is now almost 6pm and I am still waiting. My previous attempt last week was when I was told that they were not too busy and just stop in only to be told they couldn't get to me today because some of their lifts were being serviced today. Some other excuses and reasons on my previous attempts. Worth noting that when I purchased my tires here after receiving a good price over the phone and setting up an appointment, they only have three in stock and suggested that I return another day. I protested and they acquired a forth after an hour or so. I informed staff that restroom had no paper towels; still didn't two hours later. Staff said they didn't have any. Called Belle Tire who said they would rotate and balance for free after hearing my sob story. I will not be back. read more

My husband bought tires for his truck here, Mike showed him the best options based on what he wanted. The price quoted was lower than other tire stores for same tires plus Mike told us about a rebate to save more. We could even make an appointment for Sat so we didn't have to wait. Mike even took the time to help us out when we had problems with the website trying to file our rebate and personally call them. If I could give this place no stars. I take my car to another Discount Tire store (8570 Northwest Blvd just off W.86st) The Greenwood store was horrible, first I had to order tires and that was fine, except for when they came in they gave them to someone else. So I had to wait for some more to be shipped, for a total wait time one week for tires. Once they got those, I was not notified that they had arrived I had to call and ask myself. They acted as if they didn't even know I came there and ordered them. Anyway they got the tires on and I noticed a noise coming from my left front wheel and stopped. I was unsure of the noise but what I did notice was my wheels were now missing some lug nuts, what the hell man!!!! So went back and they had the indecency to say that I didn't have them all on there in the first place. I know they were there specifically because I had just washed my car and the wheels by hand. They took the car back in reset they tires and got rid of the noise but wouldn't replace the lug nuts. Screw these guys, they fill their shop with new cars from dealers and don't care for the regular customers. read more

I had a flat tire and came to discount tire to get a new one as I new it would more than likely not be able to be plugged. They had informed me that another tire was in desperate need to be replaced, so I went ahead and purchased two new tires. They had asked if they could put the two new tires on the rear of the vehicle and I had informed them they could. When I went to leave the steering wheel was shaking and a strange vibrational sound was coming from the rear (that's what it sounded like to me) being a woman who understands very little about any automotive issues I told my fiancé about it. He had advised me that it is just due to the fact that we still had two older tires on the car that are close to being replaced..... Well after driving it for a couple if days it really started to worry me and I asked him to check it out. He said that it was not normal at all and that we had to get the car back ASAP for them to look at. Keep in mind that my car was not making these sounds before I had the two tires replaced. We called and dropped the car off for them to look at. We talk to one of the associates who stated that they could not find anything wrong with it at all. I asked if they had driven then vehicle at all to help troubleshoot the issue and was advised that they are not allowed to do that. At this point I was very upset because I patiently waited the hour and a half it took for them to service the original tire issue and now I'm having to take time out of my Saturday to see what they did nor didn't do to cause the issue...I professional and respectfully informed the manager that "I don't know's" are unacceptable and that since my vehicle did not have the issue before I brought it in that we needed to get to the bottom of what was wrong. I also informed him that I understand no one or nothing is perfect and that I just want the issue to be diagnosed and addressed. To wrap this up, they put two new tires on my vehicle since they could not diagnose the problem and they handled it very well and professionally. I do wish that it wouldn't have taken me getting so upset to have a resolution, but I also admire and appreciate them making it right and not charging me for it. They are always friendly and professional when my fiancé and I come in and they took ownership and made it right. I am very please and because of this, despite the issue, I will be a loyal Discount Tire customer for life. read more
