Needed new tire due to nail in sidewall. Very long wait although not many in waiting room. Waiting room was very clean. Staff tried to talk me into replacing all tires although they had few miles and car is garage kept and out of the sun. Note; they added a "service charge" due to use of credit card - this is not posted anywhere and you only know when the bill is posted. After a long wait they said the car was ready, but it did not appear. Then someone came out to the waiting room and said they wanted to check the spare for an additional charge. The new tire appears to be properly mounted but will not use this business again. read more

We got 4 new tires for $1268 total walk out price. They tired our truck with extreme respect, they didn't adjust our seats or leave any mess in the truck! The people working were extremely kind and treated us with a lot of respect! They took the guests that were there and the appointments over the walk ins which we appreciate because some shops prioritize the walk ins. We appreciate how the management is working here, how when a technician pulled the truck out they heard tire rub (which is normal on a 2500 sized truck with wide tires on it)but the manger immediately checked on it to make sure that everything was alright with the truck. To get all 4 tires done it took about 1 hour and 30 mins roughly which is the quickest we've had tires taken off the rim, put back on the rim and balanced! Great crew and great service! read more

I scheduled an oil change for my truck at 8am. Got right in. The workers at the front desk were courteous, friendly, professional, and greeted me by my first name. After they moved my truck for service, I asked if they could check the tire pressure of my spare tire. Without hesitation, they said they would and asked if I had a pressure I wanted it or if they should just use the pressure listed on the tire. My wife insisted I use this location and I have not been disappointed. Courteous and professional service for less than what I pay at a quick oil change place. Went in to get a nail out of my tire and while there an oil change. Got here when they opened and spoke to the manager, just happen to be the person at the counter. I politely asked what weight oil would they be using, I've been here many times for tires and a lift on my Jeep but not for an oil change. My truck has 125,000 miles on it and I explained I may want a thicker or heavier weight oil being a higher mileage engine. The manager shakes his head and in a smart mouth tone tells me "whatever the manufacture calls for". I nicely asked again, what is that weight? He repeats it again in a smart mouth tone " whatever the manufacture codes for". I asked again and explained why I'm asking, again in a polite tone. He just shook his head. I finally asked why it's such a big deal to just tell me what that weight of oil is going into my truck? He gives a small smart mouthed chuckle. I finally said that's fine I'll just go somewhere else, he laughs and says nothing else. There are tire shops on almost every corner in that area, no loss from my side. read more

Beware of Steve! Brought my car into this best one location, had always previously taken it to a different best one, I needed a new tire, which was covered under warranty, yet a older man named Steve claimed I needed to pay to replace the whole tire, despite the fact I already bought the roadside warranty when I bought the tires from the other best one. I had to have the other best one order the tire, just for me to have to go get it, then go get my car & bring it back to here for them to put the tire on, a different man who I assumed was the manager was very pleasant & apologetic about the whole situation, so I was going to leave it alone, until my car was done, I was called to the counter by guess who? Steve! Who proceeded to ask me how I was going to be paying, when I looked at him funny & said card he quickly changed to the " oh you don't owe us anything, today is on us " it seems like to anybody that Steve is scamming people & pocketing cash. 2 stars only because the manager was apologetic & swore up & down that it should've never happened that way & he was sorry about that. Shelby street: VERY FRUSTRATING. I dropped $2100 on wheels and tires for my truck and was pleased with the initial sale process. I called for an appointment for rotation, balance and an oil change and was told: "They don't make appointments for those services  - all I needed to do is show up and it's first come first served." I arrive 15 minutes before they open Monday to be first in line, but told I'd have to leave it and it'd be at least 3 hours before they could even POSSIBLY get to it as they had a few big jobs booked. They're a busy shop. So - you can't make an appointment, you have to plan to leave your vehicle and they'll POSSIBLY  get to it, depending on how busy they are with the jobs they do make appointments for.   That's not first come first served - and definitely not what I'd been led to believe when I called. Many places have a lane dedicated to oil changes and rotations - truly first come first served, and people park in line. That's what I expected based on what I was told. Well, I wasn't in a position to leave my truck, and certainly couldn't sit for hours hoping they might get to it, so I left pretty frustrated. I wasted part of my morning and my tires still need rotated and balanced (part of the road hazard package I paid for with the tires). read more

Let me first off rant and say I despise paying for not-fun big-kid purchases like tires. That being said, Indy Tire made it easier. I had been doing some online price shopping and was concerned they wouldn't price match because the tires they & 2 competitors had were the same brand, just off a few...whatever you call the measurement on a tire. The asst manager emailed me back within a few hours, much quicker than the other places, confirming they would price match, so I called them up and set an appointment. I've been to Best One on Shelby twice now and both times they've far exceeded my expectations. They had the best prices for tires on my truck, then when I had a flat on my work vehicle they were able to ge me in and out, with no appointment, they were done in about 30 minutes, and I was not late for my next job. Wow! Thank you Yelp reviews for not letting me down and leading me to this awesome place! I'd made an appointment online and had received a confirmation email for the time, but the guy at the front desk didn't seem to know about it. That was not a problem though and they got me in right away. Half an hour later the guy came out and showed me that my car didn't need an alignment but with my heavier tires I need to rotate them more frequently and possibly invest in better shocks. So they didn't charge me anything for even checking the alignment. He said it was usually $25 but there was a special going on for free. Did I already say awesome? Because I meant it! I'm so impressed with their customer service and honesty. Too many places take advantage of unknowledgeable car people and these guys didn't. When I need a future alignment, tires, or any other car fix, this will be my first place to go to and recommend. Their waiting room and free internet is also a bonus! They were cleaning the windows when I arrived and it showed they take pride in their facilities, which is always a good sign. read more

we spent $1100 getting my ac diagnosed and fixed only for them to mess up our car again. the level of service is garbage here. the ac stopped working a day after they told us they have tried EVERYTHING to fix the AC. They fixed the cooling and every other thing that was causing the ac issues. The poor service has left me with a car without AC and out of $1100. They now want $500 to fix the new problem with the AC. they refuse to give us any sort of compensation. I will NOT be recommending them to anyone, in fact I will go out of my way to tell all of my friends and relatives to go somewhere else where they will actually fix the issue instead of making it worse and charging us more money. read more

I am pretty satisfied with my to visit to Indy Tire. For my first visit, I need to immediately to get a set of tires for the front of my car. I actually discovered Indy Tires after having a hard time at two other nearby businesses. However Indy Tire got me in around 10 o'clock on a Saturday and I was out within an hour and a half. They were professional and did exactly what I told them to do. They did not try to upsell me at all. I left impressed and informed the staff I would be coming back very soon for a set of tires for the back. ...My second visit end up being less than a month after the above visit. I was here just last week when one of my back tires had a blowout. I trusted Indy Tire to handle my car needs again. A couple of days before, I set my appointment online. I was not happy noone responded to my online appointment request within 24 hours. However I called Indy Tire first thing that morning around 8 a.m. to see if my appointment was still be honored. They just told me to come right on in whenever I have time. I did and again within an hour and a half I had two new tires. On this visit also got an oil change. Again I appreciate that they do not try to upsell me to buy things they recommended such as windshield wipers. However my father did feel that I paid way too much to replace a nut bolt on my front tires. He felt I got ripped off on the price and I should not return to Indy Tires. I love my dad and usually take his advice on servicing my vehicles. However, I am going to continue to come to Indy Tire if I have a tire issue or need an oil change. They are a professional and friendly service. They never turn me away on a Saturday, which is freaking amazing. I definitely trust Indy Tire with my tire needs. read more

I have been to Indy Tire twice in the last month. I was there the first time because I had a blowout on my my front drivers side tire. Driving on the spare, I headed in after work at 5:00. I had both of my sons with me. They got us in and out in 45 minutes. They did tell me I needed new tires all the way around. I knew that. I t was under $90 and I was back on the road. The second time I had the passenger side replaced on a Saturday morning. They were quick and still under $90. The staff has always been friendly. The store is clean and has wifi, that meant my oldest could watch a cartoon on my iPad while I worried about the baby. It has been a great experience both times. read more

This place is exactly what every auto-repair shop should be like! They go above and beyond, and don't charge for things that aren't necessary. I was at Indy Tire twice this last week. The first time was for an oil change, where during the tire rotation and balance they pointed out that my tires were in pretty bad shape and I should think about getting a new set. They were nice enough to not charge me for the rotation and balance, after realizing the shape that my tires were in. Later in the week, I had gotten a new set of tires, but I remembered how impressed I was with the service at Indy Tire, so I went back there to get my alignment done to protect my new tires. The guys at Indy Tire pulled my car in, checked out my alignment, and determined it was just about spot on, and so they didn't charge me for that either! On October 7, 2020. My husband had our daughter take my car that she is using for college to Best-One Indy on Shelby Street. Prior to the visit, there was nothing wrong with my engine. We ask for a Tune Up to include new plugs and wires plus 2 part fuel clean and RF CV AXLE replacement and that is all. My vehicle was running smooth until they did the work my daughter call and told us about the knocking after she picked up the car. We contacted Best One and my husband told them what was going on, Matt (Front Desk) had to speak with management about clearing up the issue, then we received a call that they could find a engine for around $2500 plus labor but if we paid for it, we offered for them to pay for the engine because it was their fault and we pay for labor. Of course they would not do that instead they gave us back the $620 which admitted fault on their end and admitted it verbally. Once the vehicle was towed back home, we had our personal mechanic to look at it who does the work on our car when it is home. He stated himself they messed up my engine by throwing Rod #3 cylinder because they had to keep raving up the engine. "They tried to say my daughter was riding on 5 cylinders but according to our personal mechanic said it is not true because the engine would have started a long time ago. Is this what our country is coming to when a business damage your property and don't have to pay for it. I felt paying the labor after damaging my engine was pretty fair considering the cost of replacing the engine which we had to go out and buy a whole other care to replace this one. Is this what free enterprise is? When a business can damage your property and place you in a financial situation you did not ask for? We already knew our car needed a turn up because that is what Best-one recommended. I want my engine replaced!!!!! or we can go a little further because now you are dealing with the real owner of the vehicle. Thank you. read more

Found out I had a bad caliper making a vibration on the front wheels after my wife thought it was a alignment issue and we paid $116.00 for a alignment that never we needed. No wonder it only a few minuets to complete a 4-wheel alignment and some kind of computer reset?. What ever that is. Thanks for nothing we will never be back...Tom read more

I just came here to have my oil changed and found the staff very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I thought the prices quite reasonable and they give you a reminder call when it's time to get your oil checked again. It's nice though since there haven't been any other "courtesy" messages or spam mail even though they have my contact information. They were also able to help me determine which oil I wanted for my car- synthetic, non synthetic, etc. - since I'm not too knowledgeable about those details. They also had a discount for checking in on Yelp at the time I went. Worth looking into!! I will be coming back when my car needs more work. read more

Nail damage forced a new tire install on a 2018 Accord. They left deep digs on the inside of my rim from the tire machine. They also gave it back to me with a scrape on the outside, which they did fix after I complained about it. There is no excuse these days for messing up expensive new rims.
