They got me out of there very quickly even though I did not have an appointment and they found that the repair to my tire by another company did not address the real issue. Paid $286.15 for 2019 Toyota Camry front tire, passenger side and the wait was about 30 min. Added in rough road protection and got free tire air pressure check here as well. read more

We were passing through on our way to the Grand Canyon West and the tread clear came off our rear driver tire. I called after seeing them as a sponsored ad on yelp. My call was quickly answered by the manager Rudy. I thought it was thoughtful to first ask if everyone was safe, which we were. He checked to see if our tire was in stock quickly quoted my figures over the phone and let us know we could be helped once we arrived. Rudy used some tool to determine the age of the remaining tires and we determined we would replace the rear two so we got back to California safe. I enjoyed the ease of the tracking the progress on the car through the text message and we waited about an hour. I was told the others tires were 4 years old, they were replaced at Pep boys 3 weeks prior with new tires, so not sure about the gadget but oh well. Also unfortunately the valves were never replaced with the out of state tires and I was told everything looked good as they checked the tires here at DT. Though if the check was through the valves should have been spotted as needing a changing by the professionals... this would have saved my family a huge detour the following day when I had to get one replaced out on Interstate 5 in California. Yes, on 05/18/2019 my TPMS light was lit. Went into the 3610 Stovkton Hill Rd store. Was greeting & assisted by Mgr. Alex Berres. He promptly went escorted me outside & we found the problem Nail in rh rear tire. He set my vehicle up for repair asap. (2019 Toyt High). Alex has a super team with Diego, Mason and other great technicians who give outstanding service & are super courteous! Promote Alex now! Came here due to a flat tire. We called prior to coming to ensure they had the right tire and we spoke to the manager Alex. Took us 3 hours to get there waiting for the tow truck. As soon as we got in, Alex greeted us and got us going right away with our spare. He ensured all the other tires were checked by his guys and got us going after 40 mins. Frustrating to say the least- stopped in at 4pm on a Thursday to get a spare for a trailer as we were passing through. Called on the way and said it wouldn't be a problem. The price quoted was not the final price paid- it was $50 more. If that wasn't enough we waited over 2 hrs for them to do it! Something that took 5 mins we waited hours for. Now we are stuck on the road until midnight! As much business as we have given discount in the past we won't be coming back! Top Level Service! I needed a new set of tires, Joel, the manager assisted me over the phone. He quoted me a price, which was good. However, before going in I found the tires elsewhere for a lower price. I called him and asked if they would honor the lower priced tires, to which he said they would. I arrived and drove out 45 min later with new tires on my full-size truck having paid the lower price. I elected to use Discount initially because of the follow up service they provide with their tires, e.g. the Life of Tire maintenance. My decision to use them was further reinforced by the customer service I received from Joel and the technicians. They had them in stock (wonderful when they are G rated to the weight of our rv hard to find on the dime) pulled into the parking spot with plenty of room no problem. We travel with our cocktails. We were driving through Kingman on our way to Williams. We called ahead and scheduled an appointment for 4 new tires to be installed on our flatbed trailer. We arrived 20 minutes early, paid for our order, and were told they would text us when it was done and we could follow along on the app. We came back 1.5 hours later and they had not even started to work on it. There was a toy hauler there that was being finished. Those people were not even there earlier when we left. We were told by the employee that they started the other vehicle because "he was here". We asked why we were told they would call us when it was ready if we needed to stay. He advised we didn't have to stay. But they were just behind. The owner of the toy hauler told us he had told them he had an appointment out of town soon so they did his first. We also have an appointment in Williams. We should have gone to Walmart. They did advise their manager had called out today. We asked to speak to the lead employee twice but they never came. read more

I bought 5 new tires for my jeep here and special ordered ones that had newer DOT dates and the guys were happy to oblige. Fast and friendly service. On a different occasion I went in to get a tire re-beaded for a different vehicle. As I was there waiting an aggravated elderly woman was yelling at the employee -- and I wish I could remember his name -- because this lady was off the handle and he had the patience and professionalism of a saint. The lady was yelling at him for "taking so long." And was demanding to go to a different place while her car was jacked up in the air with services being rendered. She even went behind the counter as he was in the computer and began tapping on the screen. The way this dude handled it and sat and apologized was unreal -- I would have told the lady I would call the cops or lost my cool a long time ago. A different customer then told the lady to sit down and she backed away. So props to these guys and their hard work. read more

I am a long-standing customer of American tires which they are apparently an affiliate but do not have the customer service of America's tire reputation!! I called "Discount" tire for a price quote. The price quote for tires was almost twice what Walmart charges for the exact same brand of tires. But discount tire prices were comparable to almost every chain tire store in Kingman. I didn't buy from WalMart but opted for a local owned business. Definitely would have been cheaper at WalMart but I feel good about having supported a small newly opened in April business. read more

We "nailed" something sharp in the road on I-40 near the Prescott exit on a road trip back home to Washington state. My front tire had an audible hiss at a pit stop, bummer. I put the spare tire on, but it wasn't balanced right so our rig was shaking pretty bad at speed. We were worried about driving like that through desolate Nevada at night, so we looked for a place to get it plugged or our spare balanced. Drove by a couple of shady looking places, and then found this Discount Tire in Kingman. We pulled in about a half hour before they closed, they took our info (we were in their system from past purchases back East), and they worked us in right away. They repaired the flat tire, road force balanced it, and got it back on the truck very quickly. They even balanced the spare after cleaning it up, and put it away underneath the pick-up bed for us. They even had their own tool to wind the winch up that holds the spare, I'm super impressed. Their shop was super clean and all of the techs super friendly. And we were really surprised that there was no charge. Holy cow! We made it the 1100 miles home safe and sound. On our way, we even drove down the Las Vegas strip with all 4 chromies on the truck, no embarrassing spare tire cramping our style. Thanks guys! read more

I had a blow out on my travel trailer 20 miles West of needles I put on the spare and rolled up into Kingman. The guys at the store had me pull the trailer up front and they got right on replacing my tires. Unfortunately they only had 3 of the tires in stock for my specific size rim I asked them if the store in Bullhead City had some and they said yes they have 16. So I said go ahead and mount the 3 can I go down there and pick up the 4th tire? Diego was the young man's name who help me and he said sure we can do that! He called the bullhead store and set everything up. As we were settling up they even discounted a price off of my tire purchase to offset the fuel for me having to go down to bullhead to get the 4th tire. Wow, I have never seen this kind of bending over backwards to satisfy a customer, ever! Thank you Discount Tire, I am a loyal customer at your Southern California America's Tire stores. Bought new tires and rims, service was horrible! My wife took my truck in for me after they told me my items would be in on Monday, no call no update. My wife called them back on Tuesday near closing time and they said they were in!? Why no call back from them!!? She made an appointment for 1:30, they had her wait in the parking lot for 30 minutes when no one was in line and there wasn't hardly anyone there. People started showing up and they went right in the garage while my wife was still waiting! She watched while they damaged my truck!! Watching them!! She took pictures but didn't want to be the one to confront! After she called me she sent an email to discount with pictures and the next day I went in to talk with them. The store manager stated that since their Jack's are protected with rubber, it was unlikely that the damage came from them! We went out and he put a Jack under my truck to show me that the bumper would also prevent it from touching where the damage was but that failed because it did touch and the dent fit. On top of all this my spare that I was riding on was also left in the back of the truck, where I had to put it back up under the carriage myself! In the past they did it for me as a courtesy. I've been with discount for years, always had great service, but this visit, the whole thing about it, was horrible!! I'm a great customer also!! So upsetting!!! read more

I have always had excellent customer service (and good prices) with DT/AT. The store in Kingman, AZ lives up to the high standards set by management. Recently in the store for a flat fix on a rental car. I waited only a few minutes before it was being fixed. The service was prompt and professional. The writers were courteous and helpful. Not only did she come back home and the issue is still not resolved. And was charged for it. But they told her they could only offer a donut spare.
