Benjamin was the name on my receipt and on the email survey I received, so I assume that's who the young man was who greeted me IMMEDIATELY after I got out of my truck. (I didn't check his name badge) I was so (pleasantly) surprised by such fast service that I almost got defensive! That being said, I wasn't surprised by my overall experience. Discount Tire provides anything but "discount" service. They have yet to let me down. My relationship experience with them is now over ten yrs. old and I have no plans of shopping anywhere else for my tires. Thank you for always offering great selections, at fair prices, with excellent service. I will remain a loyal customer and I highly recommend you to family, friends, and associates. read more

Location is convenient in that it is close to Sugarloaf Pkwy and I-85. If you're waiting for your vehicle, the mall is in walking distance along with plenty of options to eat or snack both inside and outside of the mall. Some things to be concerned about at this location is they drop the ball sometimes. So even if you have a reservation, make sure that your time is honored. They've let my vehicle sit while servicing other customers that have come in after me. I've been a customer here for a while. Also, if you complete a transaction over the phone, please be advised that they sometimes complete said transactions over speakerphone (exposing sensitive credit card information to people in the lobby). More good: they honor price matching at this location, so be sure to shop around and get the best bang for your buck. Plenty of parking at this location. Restroom available for both men and women. No snacks or water visible. read more

This morning I apparently drove over a screw on the road, and I could hear the click click on the wheel as soon as it went through the tire. I called Discount Tire, they fixed it in less than 15 minutes, and it didn't cost me anything. I didn't even buy my tires from them since it's a new vehicle. I can assure you I'd strongly consider buying tires from them when I do need them. Kudos to great service! read more

These guys are nothing but tire con artists! The only time you will get a decent experience with them is when you're spending money on tires or services. If you're not buying anything, they will give you every excuse in the book as to why they have to deny working on your car. I came in due to a flat tire, I had already put air in the tire and used a sealing liquid to stabilize it. I just wanted them to remove the nail & patch it up. After looking at the tire in question, they said the wear was in the "yellow" range and attempted to pressure me into buying 2 new tires. I told them that i'll think about it, but asked if they would just patch the tire with the nail for now. They then agreed to repair the tire. After 10 minutes, they came back to me claiming the tire was "even worse than they initially thought" so they have to deny service. To their credit, when I measured the tread myself, it was in the "yellow" range, but their reasoning behind why they could not repair the tire was pure BS. I'll never shop with this company/store again unless they offer me free tires for life. Their strategy is to do whatever it takes to get you to buy new tires, not looking after the customer. read more

Brett was cordial and professional. I was in and out roughly in 1 1/2 hrs. It wasn't too bad since I had an appt for a tire rotation and bought a new, used tire on the spot as well. They have used tires for sale, and that's what I bought. It was cheaper as well. The tire itself was $38 with a $8 warranty or what not. The tire installation was $20 with a $3 disposal fee. Though I do wonder if they do dispose of it since the one I got was used... All in all, the final price was cheap. Thanks for looking into the tire pressure light as I asked... [Sarcasm at play here if you didn't know] :/ Though they were slammed with more people than they could handle, I'm here and a paying customer. Not sure if they heeded me. Thus, my experience was only 4 stars. And the light is still on 3 days later... Discount Tire is on the outer perimeter of Sugarloaf Mills near Medieval Times btw. read more

These guys are the truth! I pulled in at 5:58 p.m. they close at 6:00. They replaced the tire I ended up purchasing a full set of rims. They educated me on the windshield wiper blade and the sensors in my vehicle. One of the gentlemen were kind enough to entertain me while the gentleman in the back worked on my car. This is the best service I have ever received at any dealership anywhere anytime. I cannot thank you guys enough for taking the time to take care of my vehicle even though I have not been. Completely judgment-free environment. Prices here are also amazing. I will come back with my other vehicles. I will tell everyone I know about the service that I received there. I will come back and bring donuts for your entire crew. Your service brought me to tears Thank you so much. Anna By the way sparky loves her new shoes read more

My go to tire shop My wife and I both take our cars here for our tire needs. Within the last yr we had tires replaced rotated and aligned here. Prices are competitive and they have a wide selection. If the tire isn't in store they can generally get it in the next day. I came in to get 2 new tires and rotation done. I called ahead to make an appt. I was seen promptly and my car went into the garage within 10 minutes of arriving. Estimated work time was 30-60 min but surprisingly it was closer to 30 minutes! I got all 4 tires insurance at what I believe is a very reasonable price. And the tire insurance is great - I highly recommend. They have a spacious lobby area with seating or a few outdoor seats available if you choose to wait. Located next to Sugarloaf/Discover Mills. read more

I love to get my tires here or at the John's creek location. Free air here where most gas stations charge you $1.50 .I know Mavis does it too but I prefer discount for air. Tire wise you can order on tires.com and get them sent to and installed at discount. So, if you don't want to spend all day on a weekend day at Walmart for tires this to me makes the most sense. Granted you could go to Costco,Goodyear, etc but give discount a try next time you need just two tires. read more

Discount Tire - Loveeeeeee this place! - Tires Near Me - Lawrenceville, Georgia

This location sits in the Sugarloaf Mills Complex, in the very back right corner. It's very conveniently located off 85 and has ample parking (not a ton of spaces close to the front door). Dropped in here today during lunch due to 2 nails in my back left and right tire. I had previously purchased my tires from Discount Tire off Peachtree Rd, and called ahead to see if I could use this location for a free patch job. Good news is you can go to any Discount Tire location with your purchase! I pulled in, and waited a minute at front desk to get service. The guy was very nice and polite. I noticed this at the location I went to purchase my tires previously, but their customer service quality is across the board excellent! He checked out the nails, and then mentioned how long it would take. Extremely nice opening the door for me and even apologizing for my situation. It was my fault for running over the nails but he was empathetic! The waiting area was nicely air conditioned and the chairs were comfy. They also had free water and coffee for guests. Wait time was probably around an hour, so got in a quick power nap. I listened to some of the conversations as customers came in, and these guys are trained service professionals when it comes to making the perfection solution as well as getting customers to open up on just their lives. They called me when it was done, and patched up punctures with no problem. The service was free (even better), and the guy handling the exit portion was just as friendly as the one I spoke to when I came in. Discount Tire will certainly be my go to option from here on out, thanks to their exemplary customer service and pricing. read more

I had to get 2 new rear tires and my whole family has gone to this location for years. On this day, a busy Friday, Thomas helped me at this location. This shop is on another level of class and care. Tucked in, red, name monogrammed shirts with clean black pants and face coverings were worn by all. Courteous, professional and quick. I waited with lunch in a local restaurant and they texted my completion 1/2 time I expected. I had to return reduce the PSi (my choice) and Thomas himself did it quickly and happily. I just wish more businesses operated in this manner. read more

I got a nail in my tire unexpectedly in the middle of the day, during a super busy work week! One star because they had my tire in stock. I will not be coming back, ever. I called discount tire to request a quote for my Lexus Is350 09. I had a tire put on it just last year. I wanted the same one. I was quoted "245". I said okay, I would make arrangements to leave work early to get my tire changed. I talk to my boyfriend about the quote and he told me that why was I told so much? So he called and guess what, he got quoted "205" !!!! I drive to discount tire get there and I get greeted immediately by Zach. I explain to him my situation and the guy I talked to on the phone interrupts and tells him he's the one who spoke to us on the phone ( I wouldn't say that so proudly) anyways, Zach goes to check my mileage and whatnot. Returns and tells me that my other tire, the one I had just put on last year, the tread is running low too. I was pissed at this point and said just talk to my boyfriend about it. I was already done with at this point. I ended up paying 256$ with taxes. I wasn't quoted that either!!! :) So yeah not stopping by here again and definitely wouldn't recommend it. The "customer service" is there so they can fool you into listening to what they have to say. Chances are you're better off somewhere else. They want to rip you off. read more

Absolutely top-notch place! This is the fifth set of tires I have purchased from this location and every time I am greeted with super helpful and knowledgeable service and always with a smile and technical know-how. This time dealing with Kevin and his crew was over the top. I got a call on a Saturday that the tires I ordered a week before and had put money down on qualified for a $100.00 rebate that weekend if I purchased them this day. How many shops do that?! And then went above and beyond when I had the tires mounted on new wheels. It is nice these days that you find a quality product with helpful and friendly service. You guys truly know how to do it well! Thanks! read more

Giving this place 5 stars! I came in with my car on a tow truck because i had a flat tire. The tire unfortunately had a hole too big and my tire was filled with compost. i told then to put the tire back on so i can tow the car home because i didn't even have my debit card on me for a new tire. Alexis, (who also checked me in) gave me a tire to use until i can replace the flat! Saved me a lot of stress, and he went above and beyond to help a customer. Extremely impressed. Thank you so much guys! read more

The guys at this location are great! I had a flat tire on 85 and was able to get my car over to them. Christian and Ryne was able to get me in and out in 45 mins. I have been a Discount Tire customer for like 5 years now. Back in Texas they have like a 60% market share. I was always taken care of in Texas, and the certificates (insurance) for like $16 a tire has always come in handy especially with my last car which had rims and spendy tires. I like this particular Discount Tire as they never seem to have much of a wait and the service is very good. Prices are fair, and that coupled with the certificate insurance and free air checks and rotations makes this my tire store. Back when I lived in Portland Les Schwab runs a similar operation with full warantty great service. Like Discount Tire, they also have a very high (like 60%) marketshare throughout the Northwest. I know Warren gave a poor review and had a bad situation. I know I have had a time or two where Discount Tire has said I need a replacement and they can't put air in a tire or rotate it/touch it. To some degree it does feel like they are upselling, but I also understand that a big store/chain does not want to deal with the potential liability of a blowout with a tire that they signed off on. That said, it is a full service relationship that is to be cultivated with Discount Tire. I currently have a new car, but when my first set of tires comes due in about a year I will go straight to this Discount Tire to rekindle our relationship. read more

Thomas was great! Very professional and caring. Took the time to make sure we were completely happy.

Terry The manager help me today. Others have helped me in the past. Every single one of these guys is a pro. They take amazing care of you. And I first used Discount Tire for over 15 years ago. Rarely do you ever have a great experience with a tire store, thus one is absolutely the exception. Friendly, great service with that extra touch.... I showed up at their location, with a 31ft Motor home that was unsafe to drive because of an exploded tire. I had already called three other tire stores, who werent interested in helping me. These guys did. Over and beyond. A vehicle that big won't fit in their shop, so they had to attend to it outside in the parking lot. And they did, on a day when it literally poured rain the entire day. I didn't see it, but one or more of the Tech's must have been soaked totally. Soon they had me on the way with 6 brand new tires and a very fair price. Thank you for all that extra effort. I know it would have been easier to simply say can't do it and spent your time servicing an easier vehicle. I was in a jam, and your service pulled me through that. read more

I would recommend this place to everyone. I ordered a tire after running over a screw, as I wasn't sure of the severity of the issue and didn't want to be on a donut any longer than necessary. I made an early appointment, and they were very patient and willing to listen to my concerns. I told them that if my tire was fixable but another needed to be replaced, I would keep my order, but they were able to patch my tire and assured me that my other tires still had plenty of life in them. They refunded me for the tire and didn't charge me anything for the patch, even though they'd had to patch the tire and reinstall it. I felt like they were being completely honest with me, even when it meant not pushing a sale, and that's so refreshing to experience. read more

This place actually replaced my mom's car with two old tires after she purchased two new ones. How does that even happen? We had to take our car back to tell them. Management does not have an effective plan for people pulling in to get their tire pressure checked. The process takes forever. While we sit and wait, all of the workers are busy and don't even have time to help us. I live in Texas and right when you pull up, a worker comes out right away to check your tire pressure. This place here is horrible. read more

So pleased with the service I received today. I ran over a bottle so glass was stuck in my tire. Alexis was very personable and friendly from the time we called until, arrived and departed. Service was much faster than expected. read more

I guess my horrible experience was worse than I thought. After a few weeks of driving, I still have the same problem on the tire they fixed. It loses 2 psi of pressure every week. Now it makes me wonder if there was a hidden agenda on their diagnosis. The technician never showed me the non-repairable puncture. While the front desk guy was very eager to sell tire insurance. What is tire insurance? If a tire is non-repairable, I only pay $30 to replace it regardless the age, wear, and condition of the damaged tire. So I ended up paying $120 for all four. As soon as I did that, out came the technician telling me that my tire was non-repairable. Hmmm... This is definitely worse than a time share scam. SCAMMERS! BEWARE OF THIS BRANCH! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Deserves ZERO stars! read more

I'm at the 50,000 mile mark on my (what I still consider new) car and am about to take a long road trip in a few weeks, so it was time to find a tire place. Discount Tire is a large place in the very back of the Discover Mills parking lot that I drive by alot now that I'm living up in this area. My husband and I arrived in the morning and Mike Bell was very prompt and courteous. He didn't try to upsell us and we went with some middle-of-the-road tires. We pre-paid and left the car there since we had to get to work. Fifteen minutes after leaving, we realized we forgot to ask them if they could give us an idea on the remaining brake life while they had the wheels off. We called Mike and asked if they could check, and although they had already finished putting the new tires on (super fast!), Mike didn't hesitate to offer to have the crew check the brakes anyways, even though the wheels were all back on. He called us back a few minutes later to give us the status on the brake life. We really appreciated this! As for the place itself, it was very clean. The women's bathroom was cleaner than my home bathroom (which says alot) and plenty of had hand sanitizer, lotion and a little candy dish. Nice touch! Yes, I just reviewed the restrooms in a tire store. read more

The guys at this location are so nice. Everyone welcomes you with a smile. I was told it would take an hour to get all new tires put on (there were a few people ahead of me) and they handed me back my keys a little under an hour later. Love, love, love this Discount Tire location. I've been to probably 5 in the Metro Atlanta area, and this is by far my favorite. Each and every time I visit, whether to get a new set of tires or ask a question about something, the guys are johnny-on-the-spot with a smile. They're knowledgeable, helpful, and quick. I even went in recently after misplacing a valve cap to take a shot in the dark and see if they'd give me a new one. Not only did the guy stop what he was doing to walk out with me and put it on my tire himself, but he also offered to check my air pressure for me. I didn't have time, but he definitely went the extra mile and made me feel like a valued customer. Beyond that, they have super competitive prices and will schedule appointments. Pretty awesome! read more
