I took my older vehicle out of storage and went to the store to ask them to air up tires. one tire was out of the range to fill it and they sent me away with a low tire. Heaven for bid that they could actually use some common sense, put a gauge on it and and actually air up the tire. They wanted to remove the tire and fix the tire saying it needed a repair. It was absolutely ridiculous. The manager wanted to argue with me about it, Like he is on Zen levels and one with the tires. I went home and did it myself and the tire is still amazingly holding air. Just go to Les Schwab or anybody else but them. Staff doesn't even know how to read a tire gauge they have to program the PSI into a computer, hook the hose up to the tire and wait for the alarm telling the staff it's completed. This is a tough one. They eventually got me taken care of but it wasn't without a bit of a hassle. I brought my 45' fifth wheel in for six new tires and I was originally quoted a specific price and tire model which turned out to be incorrect once I got the rig in place. First, the place is incredibly busy with people coming in to get their air checked. Second, their business is in a tight oval loop which makes it incredibly tough to bring trailers through. Third, once I final got the rig in place I was told that it was going to take much more expensive tires and that they needed to be shipped into the store. That forced me to the leave the trailer their until the tires came in. Again, ultimately they got everything worked out and needed to move some cars in order for me to get out of the lot. So overall, it was fine. Just wish they had of spent a bit more time getting everything right in prep of me coming into the shop. read more

Giving this location a 5 star for service. Have brand new tires on my roadster. Making a sharp turn I scratched two rims (ugh). Looked online and it showed this place performed wheel repairs. Drove there for a quote. As soon as I pulled up a guy from the store came out to greet me (great). Shared my problem and he told me they could do the job by sending away the wheels or give me the info of the local shop they sent the wheels to so I could get it done more quickly. Corey has been great to work with. Matched a warranty on some Yokohama tires and when the worker bees accidentally put the wrong tires on he switched them out pronto. Ordering a new matching tire was easy over the phone, delivery was within 24h and we could set up an appointment the same day. Within 45min the new tire was mounted and the folks were so kind to store the old tire well wrapped in the trunk. So far 5 stars. What was unfortunate was that the customer rep who was looking after us provided wrong information about Bridgestone's manufacturer warranty stating that 'Bridgestone is offering zero warranty for their OEM tires'. Therefore there was nothing they could do for us, despite the fact that we bought the tire that was showing a defect from Discount Tire. The very friendly Bridgestone warranty department just confirmed that OEM tires have full manufacturer warranty coverage. The minimum Discount Tire according to them should have done is to inspect the tire to see whether there was a manufacturing defect or road hazard damage. read more

Took my car in yesterday with a puncture. Had a massive nail in it. I was refused service because like other people have said they say in Colorado that it can't be patched if it's a certain depth. They told me it was a two. They refused to help me. In fact they sent me out on the road with my child in the car with a punctured tire. Of course he tried to sell me the best tires they had for only a small amount of $800.... Refused three times to help me get home safely by plugging the tire. I went to Sam's Club where they repaired it for me with no issues. Said there was nothing wrong with my tires and that they did not need to be replaced. This morning I went to my mechanic to have him check them one more time to get a second opinion, well actually third if you consider discount tire, he told me my tires were at a six and did not need to be replaced. I have called corporate and spoken to Joe. Such an amazing man. This location will rip you off! But what bothers me the most is they put my sons life at risk and my own of course, but a child... Absolutely despicable. I've been a customer of discount tire for over 20 years! They have lost my business. UPDATE. Turns out the salesman, Kevin, is the manager of the store. I spoke to one of his superiors who told me that Kevin claims to have turned the wheels of my car to show me that it was worn down. He did not. Furthermore Kevin told them that he offered to put my spare on my vehicle! Which he did not. Honestly, it would never have occurred to me to ask to have the spare put on my vehicle. I trust this company completely, in fact I have trusted them for over 20 years. As I said, such a despicable thing for someone to do and THEN, to lie to their superior to cover up what they have done. The superior Manager that I spoke to was very kind and I hope that he realizes that liars should never be tolerated. Ever. Goodness knows what else they have done and lied about. I will never go back there again which is very sad... 20 years of service. I will also be informing my children that own vehicles and have always used them, never to shop there again. They rotated the tires, and because they had some free time, also balanced them (normally they charge for that) and corrected the air pressure. All with a smile. I had some concerns about some warrantied tires from a quote I had received at another location, but called this location as this is where I purchased the original tires. Within seconds the individual I was speaking with (Ryan) had plugged my phone number into his system and researched the quote from the other location before I could finish my story. He explained to me the process for warranty and also had a caveat that he could not guarantee particular pricing as he had not seen the tires himself. He put me on a short hold, called the other location to better understand the details then came back to me with an update. I had some additional concerns that he mentioned he would pass me on to his manager since it was outside his authorization. I was quickly transferred to the manager who was very reasonable and quickly addressed my concern. Customer service is extremely rare these days and I wanted to highlight both Ryan and his Manager Jeremy for working with me explaining what they could and couldn't do and being extremely efficient with my time. They used to be good, but are awful now. I went in to get a tire leak plugged. They had me wait inside. Then pulled the crap that my tires were bald (nowhere near) and CO law forbids them from patching them. All of this was nonsense. And a 25 minute wait to be told "no". So, what did I loose? Time, and i just went home and plugged it myself. What did you loose? A decades long customer and family, and usually four sets of tires for all cars (AWD no less) that mounts to 8 to twelve a year (counting all cars). There is too much competition, and a pandemic to behave like high pressure sales jerks. read more

I chose this location as they had a specfic set of Pirelli tires in stock. I made an online appointment and selected those tires. Upon arrival I was told that the tires I reqeusted were no longer available. I steeled myself for their upsale. However, they simply told me they were putting on another set of Pirelli's which were $12 more per tire,at no extra cost for me. I was pleasantly surprised. Then, I decided to get new wheels on my ancient car and reqested the cheapest wheels they had in stock. However, it turned out that one of the wheels was damaged. They then installed four high-end aluminum wheels at the same price as the cheap set. And allowed me to use a $50 off coupon. These guys saved my life yesterday. I got a flat tire yesterday morning on my way to work and called AAA to come and help me put the spare tire on. I have a truck and it's a HUGE pain in the you know what to get the spare out from under my truck. I then took my flat tire to the discount tire on Hampden/Monaco and waited 45 mins for them to repair my flat, since they were really busy. After it was fixed, they handed me my keys and sent me on my way. Three hours later, my tire was flat again. Completely. And I was seriously upset. I then called THIS Discount Tire, since I was only about 1/4 of a mile from them, in tears, telling them what happened. After spending an hour to put my spare on again, I showed up at this Lone Tree location and the guys there were incredibly nice. After inspection, they realized the other Discount Tire never even repaired my tire. There was no plug and no indication that they did anything to my tire other than put air in it. They called the other store and got mad at them for me, then gave me a free brand new tire because they said I had already been through enough that day. Yup. A free tire. Thank GOD. I could have hugged every single one of these dudes after what I had been through. Defiitely will be back to buy more tires from them. They rescued me and I am thankful. Five stars!! read more

I got a fantastic birthday present this year - new tires! The one stipulation was I had to buy from Discount. No problem, as I've purchased from Discount before and really like them. Most of my previous experiences had been with the one on County Line (convenient because you can shop at Target while they work on your car). This location is even more convenient because it's very close to work, so a coworker can pick me up on short notice. Bonus! And, if you are not as lucky, there is still a Target across the street from this one, so you can also kill time that way. I had no idea what tires to buy for my VW. The guy who helped me (Robert?) took the time to explain why certain tires would be better than others. I decided to go with the new version of the tires that were originally on my car. I ordered one evening - the next morning I dropped off my car around 10 and they called to let me know my car was ready around 12. Super fast and easy. They even walked me through the simple online system to apply for my rebate. I did something I almost never do (can't remember doing) - I acted first and asked for permission later. Ok, I'm being a little dramatic, but I pulled into an empty spot in the service bay next to a guy working, hopped out and begged for his help. His reply? "Sure. No problem." The "Free Air" sign at Discount Tire really means free air, and free air now. After driving around close to 10 gas stations in a 5mi radius looking for a working air hose (and failing repeatedly), I was out of hope when someone asked if I tried Discount. I hadn't and was so desperate that I drove all the way back looking for it. I'm glad I did! The guy working checked all four tires and inflated the one throwing the warning. Hero. I had the most pleasant experience possible...when dealing with a flat tire. Joshua got my tire special ordered and delivered ahead of time and meantime had the guys check the air and lug nuts on the 'temp' tire so that I would be safe. The entire transaction was just so wonderful - I cannot recall EVER being happy about going to a tire store, but this was redefining. Once the tire was in, I waited about 1/2 an hour in a pleasant waiting area stocked with lots of newspapers and periodicals, and it was so low stress and easy. I spent almost $2400 on a new set of tires and rims. The rims came with special Lugnuts but this location did not give me the tool to remove the tire myself. Fast forward five days later the brand new tire gets a flat and I do not have this tool to get the Lugnuts off so my truck is stranded and cannot move. I had to have friends drive me back to the store when they open the following day. I told them what happened they said hold on a second they went to the back got the tool and said here's the tool you need. They never once apologized for not giving me the tool or making it an inconvenience to me to have to run across town to get what they should've gave me in the first place. I have been to many other discount tires in the past and have never had an issue. This location only seems to care about your money and not about the customer. Save yourself time and headache and go to a different location Update. The manager called and was very apologetic for my experience at their location. He is making things right with me and I guess the lesson learned is when you buy tires and rims make sure you have everything before you leave. read more

I came here because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! I got bad advice from another tire company and didn't end up buying tires there (thank goodness) so I came here even though it wasn't very close to home. Geoff was super helpful and friendly. I had a ton of questions and he was knowledgeable and walked me through everything. These guys probably get commission but I felt as though his first priority was to make me happy, not upsell for the sake of making more $. He did show me the higher price points but listened to my needs. In addition to my great experience with Geoff everyone else there was super friendly and helpful. It was very quick and even though I was there a bit past closing time I still received smiles and great attitudes when I left. I need more tires before next winter (I only bought one to replace a flat) and I will most definitely be going back. I'll also be recommending this location to anyone that needs tires. I made an appointment at this locate because it is close to work so I could visit without having to take a day off which was nice. I had a hole in my tire and it was slowly releasing air. At other repair shops I've usually paid about $30-$50 for patching and a tire and air check so that's what I had anticipated for. I made an appointment and was in and out in about 30-minutes which was surprising seeing how busy they were. Above that the service was complimentary which was great.
