I made an appointment at this locate because it is close to work so I could visit without having to take a day off which was nice. I had a hole in my tire and it was slowly releasing air. At other repair shops I've usually paid about $30-$50 for patching and a tire and air check so that's what I had anticipated for. I made an appointment and was in and out in about 30-minutes which was surprising seeing how busy they were. Above that the service was complimentary which was great. From my experience, I don't recommend going to Discount Tire. They over torqued my lug nuts with a torque gun, and now my wheel studs are breaking off and they won't do anything about it, I was told that it was my fault the wheel studs are breaking off and I have to replace them myself out of my pocket. The lug nuts were so tight, the first time I took them off since I went to discount, I needed a touque gun just to take them off. They also filled my tires over my trucks specs, by a lot. read more

Have been using this store for years for all my vehicles. Have started to take them for granted as far as their honesty and professionalism. Had a slow leak on one of my tires yesterday. Stopped in without an appointment. They got me right in and within 20 minutes, my tire was fixed and I was back on the road. They didn't even charge me. They are so nice and efficient. Ram over a huge bolt and another shop could not fix it (it was Sunday, so not an option to stop at Discount Tire). Ordered a tire on DiscountTire.com, delivered to store the next day. They replaced the tire and I was in and out within 20 minutes. They even price matched a cheaper price I found. I could have gone somewhere else for that price but I prefer Discount Tire, their service and knowing I can drop in anytime (except Sunday) with any tire problem. I've always found a great price at Discount Tire and with their level of service and price matching, I have no reason to go anywhere else. read more

Needing immediate new tires after procrastinating the unsightly purchase, I called around and researched prices everywhere. Tires are expensive and it can easily hurt the wallet. (That much for rubber?!) Randy helped me on the phone and when I met him in person at the store, he was just as friendly and as helpful as he was on the phone. (Thanks man!) He took time to explain the advantages of each different tire and the sales deals that accompanied each one as they applied. He made my emergency purchase easy and totally painless. I appreciated that he made time to actually talk to me instead of being curt and to the point. I felt like I was respected. I've gone to other tire places in the past and the employees are curt, don't make the time to create a positive experience and don't view me as a possible returning customer. It seemed as though Randy and his crew viewed me as a peer, dare I say a friend.... at least that's how I felt. I wasn't just some schmuck who was in an obvious bind, to be taken advantage of. I was frank and told them I had done my research. I asked industry questions to ensure I was getting what I wanted. But ultimately, Randy helped guide me to the best, most affordable solution for my driving needs. It was a great experience and I totally appreciated it. Very professional and polished. All in all, you can say this review is about customer service and the service I received was some of the best I've ever received in the industry. Some feedback: The only point of feed back I could offer, is that when we discussed the purchase of the tires and after-sales services, it was explained that for their lifetime, the tires come with a balance and rotation every 5,000 miles. However, when I looked at my receipt, it looks as though there was an itemized service charge of $11.00 per tire for lifetime balance and rotation. It was not explained to me that I would be purchasing this service. I was under the impression it was complementary. I believe the phrase used in the conversation was "the tires come with a lifetime balance and rotation service". So either they come with it or it's extra... one of the two. "Included" and "extra service charge" mean different things to me. I strongly dislike negative surprises and hidden charges on anything I purchase, be it goods or services to be rendered. Just explain that I'm paying for it and I'll probably be just fine with the charge. Surprised me and I'm wondering why you didn't mention it before hand when I gave you over $800 cash. Sloppy, careless work. Brought my vehicle in for rotation and rebalance of my tires. They were not careful placing floor jack underneath the front of my truck, so the truck fell off the jack, damaging parts underneath. Didn't rebalance three of the tires. Ended up going to a another location to get these guys "work" fixed... Not impressed. read more

On a 17 degree day with snow I felt it was important to have my air pressure checked in the warmth of my car versus the coldness of my garage using my 3 ga Husky hot dog. This was my second attempt at a 'free air check,' having previously visited in my Landcruiser to get it done. Why was a Landcruiser owner letting someone else do something so minor to their truck? Another story for another day. But today I had some time and I trust folks other than me to air up the Blizzaks on the Outback. There's an Acura Sedan having their turn, an RX450h on deck, and I'm in the hole. As I got out to begin removing my valve covers (to help speed up the process, as demo'd by the 450h owner in front of me) the Discount Tire manager came out and reasonably explained that due to the cold he wanted the air checks moved inside. This would mean GETTING OUT OF MY CAR (which was the original value proposition on this day) and having to go inside and SIGN IN. This was much more complicated than waiting in a vehicle line for my turn. I applaud this location's management for prioritizing employee well being at the minor expense of customer convenience. I learned that cold days are not the best for quick convenient free air checks. I'll go back to Discount in a heartbeat and replace my air compressor with something more powerful. read more

Not all Discount Tire locations are created equal. This is one of the best; great location right off Lincoln, friendly, courteous employees and I love that Discount Tire offers appointments. Because they are expecting me, they always get the job done quickly and correctly (both for new tires and for the complimentary tire rotations, wheel balancing and tire pressure checks). My only complaint is that, obviously, as a tire store, they have tires on display in the waiting room. The tires give off a very unique odor that makes me light headed. Hard to describe the odor...not really a rubber smell, but a strangely sweet smell. I am not sure how the employees can handle that smell all day. These guys are tops! read more

I went to get all new tires here, and while changing one of the tires they found a problem with some lug nuts and to keep me safe they had me run my car over to brakes plus to fix and replace them, which they covered for me. The manager was super helpful and took care of me right away. It was over the holidays and when I came back to get my last tire on, he remembered me as soon as I came in. They were all very helpful and professional. I will continue my business here and recommend anyone to come here if they need new tires with quality labor. George the assistant store manager spent extra time finding the perfect tires and wheels to outfit my Subaru Forester for a move to Costa Rica (hardly any paved roads). We were at this Discount Tire last night and what great managers. We had a vehicle that was not ours, that we were borrowing as we killed our own vehicle earlier in the day. (Yea, I know, we were having a bad day.) But the tires on this borrowed car were so bad that we did not feel safe driving on them, especially with our two daughters in the car. So we were just going to replace the worst tire with as cheap a tire as we could to get by. We were broke with our car in the shop. These two desk guys figured out our situation, then wouldn't let us leave without 4 new tires. They said, "Just pay what you can." They said they couldn't let us drive on these horrible tires (that were also the wrong size) in good conscience, so after they got this borrowed vehicle into their shop, they wouldn't let us leave without 4 tires. In the end, they gave us an above-and-beyond fantastic deal. But what impressed us the most was their compassion and integrity. They have posted on their wall a saying about integrity. Obviously, these employees have bought into what their company promotes. read more

My experience with this branch was terrible. It all started when I entered the store and asked to purchase 2 tires. The young guy trying to help me was doing a good job, but since he didn't feel comfortable with the inventory, he asked his manager to help me. This is where it all went down hill. Over the course of 15 minutes the manager tried to talk me in to buying 4 tires, "For the safety and wellbeing of my family" The 4 tires that I currently had on my Audi were from another branch in Highlands Ranch, however this branch told me that my 4 tires were in fact 'summer' tires and that I needed to replace all 4 tires for winter driving. On top of that, they said they would give me a few bucks for the 2 tires on my car with still looked good. This, I felt was simply a sales tactic, in which the manager was trying to sell me 4 tires instead of 2. I explained to the manager that I felt I only needed 2 tires as the tread on 2 of them looked good. My plan was to buy 2 tires now, and then get the other two late in the spring time. Again, the manager proceeded to tell me that the safety and welfare of my family was dependent on the purchase of 4 tires....in not so many words. Again, I explained to the guy that I only drive 6 blocks to work, run errands around Highlands Ranch and occasionally go skiing. I felt my 2 tires were fine and they must as well, if they in fact were willing to give me money back for trading them in. The conversation was going nowhere. The guy then proceeded to try to sell me $1,200 worth of tires for my A6. Again, I explained to him that was not in my budget and that I only wanted to spend around 5-600. The guy was relentless. I am guessing that his tactics came from some type of corporate training on how to make sure that every consumer walked away with 4 new tires. In order to just get out the door and go somewhere else, I asked him to just print out what he thought would work for my car and that I'd show it to my husband. He then told me they didn't give quotes and that I could go to their website. I sarcastically replied, "Let me guess, Discount Tire.com?" At that point I had more that enough of his tactics and bravado in trying to 'show' his younger trainees how to 'sell' a customer. I looked him in the eye and said, "Look, you're just not listening to what I want. Do you want my business? Do you want to sell me 2 tires or not? At that point we again started going around the circle of what is best for the safety and welfare for my family. AMAZING. I left, drove to Wal Mart where a nice old man took one look at my car and said, "Looks like you need 2 new tires". Priceless. I was out the door for $325 and wrote a letter to his manager in appreciation of his great work....at Wal Mart. Not at Discount Tire. For Discount...I already told 7 of my friends about my horrible experience. Most of them women. Funny how others shared similar experiences of them trying to talk you in to something you don't really need. Zero stars for this store. I'll never go back and neither will my husband or sons. Bummer for them. read more
