Tanya and Rick really helped me out when my car's emergency indication lights came on and started driving in safe mode.

They told me if I got x, y and z my car would be fixed. No more noise from the back end. Didn't even notice I got a battery $427, and instead of just 2 brake pads I now had 2 new rotors as well (originals fine) extra $235, an alignment at $130. When it started making the exact same noise I went back. Was told it's cold so wait till summer and for parts to break in. Went again same answer. NO record of discussions. Last time manager said They discounted the bill so it's like I never paid for the extras? I paid thousands for fix something that wasn't fixed. He blew me off. Then tells me oh it is actually this that's wrong not really what you paid to fix. Showed me on a paper in a notes area where other fixes were discussed when it absolutely wasn't. The main person I dealt with was fired. No tmi, had a good convo about life events I was going through that had affected my brain. In any case, $3000 some odd later, the manager blew me off. Wouldn't listen. No proof bc all employees were fired since then. They didn't document anything discussed at any appointment. Just what they "should be " for the businesses wallet. Literally said he has a business to run and doesn't have time for this and walked away! He was demeaning, condescending, rude, unprofessional, and what those employees did was reckless and he treated me as though he knew better because I'm just a woman. I'm not kidding, I felt like I was thrown back in the 1950s.. I wanted my money back to go elsewhere to get it fixed properly or they fix it properly for free. Nope. He laughed. His way was the truth. What's on paper. Truth. Undocumented truth, doesn't exist so it never happened. That's it. I signed not even seeing this extra stuff. I was under duress due to what I cannot mention here. Whatever you do, if you need any big repairs, don't go here. There are a lot more reviews like mine elsewhere. If you want a basic oil change, you're fine. Update: I forgot to add that that new battery got? It died last night and had to get a jumpstart in a parking lot at 9 o'clock at night. Other batters last me at LEAST 5-6 years, this one just a little over a year! Now I'm nervous to go out and I'm too scared to go back to the business. I can't afford to take it somewhere else to have it tested, and God forbid replaced.

A couple of concerning points: - Progress status. While I loved receiving a text message with details from the technician and then an email with estimated costs, once I approved the work (love that BTW), I had to call multiple times to find out when my car would be ready for pickup. Why this was an issue for me is CBA is not open on the weekends, so not knowing if u would have a car less than 1 hour before closing on Friday (6PM) was concerning. - The parking lot is TIGHT and it was hard to turn around to find an available spot due to how the lot is configured. Would I return? - 100% yes. Now I know how CBA works, I can better set my personal expectations that I will not have a car for the entire day after drop off (I dropped off at 9AM). Not a huge concern - just understanding the playbook. I do recommend CBA for car repairs. Were they pricey? I say yes, but no more than other places I've been to in Castle Rock. Plus, I love that they provided upfront costs in their message and that I was easily able to approve or deny.

I have been searching for a local shop to handle oil changes and minor maintenance work for my son's Subaru and I think my search is now over. As I stated, I just needed an oil change for my son's car (synthetic oil) and Nate and the guys in the back took care of that in record time. I had an appointment at 2pm and the mechanic came out at 2:25 to let me know the scheduled work was completed. My son mentioned that his A/C had been blowing warm recently, and the mechanic said he could take a look at it now. Before I knew it, the A/C had been topped off and it still wasn't the top of the hour. All I can say is fantastic service from this shop. $70 for a synthetic oil change for the Subie, plus the additional cost for A/C service. I did make an appointment for this visit, but I saw many others coming in as I waited to drop of vehicles for future service. If you're local to Castle Rock and seeking a shop you can trust, I highly recommend ColorAuto Service and Repair.

Any visit I've had (we have been long-term customers because of their level of service and value) - I walk in the door, they take the information, take my car and when it's finished I check out and have always had a pleasant experience. Today I worked with Shawn Weber and I have had years of experience with Mike assisting me. Again, all of these visits to the store have gone quick and pleasant and professional. Today's services were battery and tires. A discount promotion was applied. I would have forgotten there was this (warranty/promotion I don't remember the name of the warranty/coverage) so I appreciated that they applied the discount without my needing to remind them. Always happy with them.

I have never in my life had to replace tires annually. To make matters worse, we also purchased the warranty and were told it wouldn't cover anything in this situation. What is the point of a warranty if it offers zero protection? Extremely disappointing experience and a total lack of accountability. I would not recommend getting tires or services from this shop.

Jiffy Lube left the washer off the oil drain plug, then over-torqued it to make it not leak since the washer was missing! They also didn't bother opening the oil canister drain and replacing that O-ring like they were supposed to (WTH, the small o-ring COMES with the new filter -- guess they just threw it away?). Then adding insult to injury, they didn't bother resetting the maintenance interval. I ended up changing the oil with only 2000 miles because the oil change maintenance message came on. After I had changed the oil I pulled the sticker Jiffy Lube puts on the window and happened to look at it. Come on, resetting oil maintenance on vehicles with a maintenance computer is a STANDARD PART of an oil change! It's even called out in the maintenance manual. But hey, if they can't put on a drain plug washer -- and somehow think torquing down way beyond specs is OK...how could I expect them to do something simple like resetting computer? Go somewhere else.
