They have been trying to get my hydro steering from blowing up! 3 times stranded and twice in my neighborhood. They have a high hourly rate. Put the wrong fluid in the hydro steering twice at least! 1000 miles in a year and blew again! Got contact jeep mobile mechanic and was appalled how bad all the hoses where and absolutely clogging a hose and blue up! Over a year of this! My mechanic took 3.5 hours to rerun the hoses and get one hose the had made was 2' too long! Finally admitted to me they have no idea on hydroponic steering the 5th or 6th time! Why did they admitit then? And change me $250 an hour out maybe closer to $300. Just tell me and I'm tale it to someone who does! So much more to this story! Took 6 weeks to cut a notch in the air filter box to help one hose clear. Don't mess with Greg, and deal with Jeremy. He's so much better! Getting info from Greg is like pulling teeth! My experience with K-Motion was the worst experience I have ever had with an auto mechanic in all my long years. They damaged or made mistakes with almost every area of my Jeep they touched: I found the interior trim damaged, a missing lug nut, and damaged brake hardware. The manager responded with defensiveness and denials, and was phenomenally rude. Here's the whole story: I requested two simple services: inspect and adjust my parking brake, which wasn't working, and grease/service my rear drive shaft (basic maintenance). I picked up the Jeep late on a Friday afternoon, which was unfortunate, because by the time I started discovering problems, the shop was closed for the weekend. That evening, I discovered that something was broken or not put back together right with the plastic trim around my center console--the area of the parking brake lever and the gear shifter. The following week when I called the shop to report this, Greg responded with immediate denials and defensiveness. He said he didn't "think" the tech had removed the interior trim. "Well, how did it get damaged then?" I asked. He suggested that it was just coincidental, maybe it was already like that, maybe it happened after I picked the Jeep up, etc. That of course is ridiculous; I am meticulous in the way I care for my Jeep, regularly wiping down the interior console with cleaning wipes, and there's no way it was just "like that" and I didn't notice. It's also very normal for a shop to take apart that trim to get at the cable adjustment nut. There is no other logical explanation for how this damage occurred, but still, nothing but denials from Greg. I asked him to fix it at the shop's expense; he said if I left the Jeep overnight, he would look at it, and IF the damage was minor/easy to fix/inexpensive, he would "take care of it," but if it was major/expensive, he might not and we would have to work something out. Great; so you damaged my Jeep, but you'll only make it right if it's cheap and easy; if it's expensive, it's my problem. Huh? I told him no, I don't accept that. THEN, I took the Jeep to Discount Tire to get a tire rotation. And the DT guys said "You're missing a lug nut; one of the locking lug nuts on your rear wheel." I have never in my long life found I was missing a lug nut. Of course, K-Motion removed my rear wheels to work on the parking brake; that they don't deny. The only plausible explanation is that K-Motion lost, failed to reinstall, or failed to tighten that lug nut. Incredulous, I called K-Motion. Greg was rude and completely unapologetic. He said to bring the Jeep in and LEAVE IT OVERNIGHT, and he would look at it and then order the needed part. That's a ridiculous inconvenience; instead, I drove over there and had him look at it, and to his credit, he ordered replacement locking lug nuts. But he never apologized for sending me away with a missing lug nut in the first place, or for my inconvenience, and instead seemed to be seething with anger and irritation. He had the audacity to say he was "p*ssed"--I hope he meant p*ssed at his own awful technician, but he didn't say that. The next day he installed the replacement lug nuts. At about the same time, I started hearing a chirping noise coming from my Jeep. I actually did not blame K-Motion for it, because it sounded like it was coming from the front wheels, which K-Motion didn't touch. So I took the Jeep to a different shop to diagnose this new problem. I told that shop nothing of my experience with K-Motion. And get this: that shop does a thorough inspection and comes back to me with photos and videos, wherein they explained that the problem was coming from one of the rear wheels, seemed to be associated with broken hardware in my brake assembly, and their theory was that it looked like it could have been caused by a bad/sloppy parking brake adjustment! Well, I told them, I just had my parking brake adjusted by an AWFUL shop--K-Motion. So now I had to pay this other shop over $400 to repair and replace aspects of my brake assembly that seems like it was almost certainly caused by K-Motion. Under normal circumstances, I would have tried to get K-Motion to take accountability and fix it at their expense. But because Greg had demonstrated a consistent pattern of denying accountability and general rudeness, I did not want to speak to them again, and I wouldn't let them touch my Jeep again, anyway. The extra kicker is that the other shop said there is ALSO some kind of noise coming from the rear drive shaft, and there seemed to be a sloppy grease job that was done there (remember I asked K-Motion to service my rear drive shaft). I wonder if they damaged that, somehow, as well. Finally, I found some kind of fluid spilled in my engine compartment a couple of days after I picked it up from K-Motion, which I think was a result of them sloppily checking fluids during their inspection, and my steering wheel was filthy upon initial pickup, with the cabin reeking of grease. read more

Hate leaving bad reviews but this one needed to be done. Took my Jeep in 8/16/21 to have differential bushings, upper control arms bushings and and ball joints and lower control arms replaced.  I'm guessing it sat all day long Monday without being touched when I scheduled and appointment for the work to be done. Called Tuesday afternoon for a update and was told they were working on it should be done the late Wednesday early Thursday. Greg then insisted that the diff bushings were good. I then took pictures of the bad bushing and showed him it was bad and he again told me it was a good bushing and there should be gaps for movement.  ( The bushing is shot) Thursday afternoon I got a call stating that my jeep was ready for pickup and Greg would be leaving at 1:00pm told him I'd pick up after work. Here comes the shit show Picked up my jeep at 4:45pm  and looked over the work they did on the front of the jeep all looked good. Heading home I noticed my passager mirror vibrating so I tucked the mirror in on the rest of the drive home so it didn't fall out. When I arrived home I inspected the mirror to find that someone had taped it back on like they hit something and it fell out.  Knowing they close at 5pm I couldn't call him to ask what happened. So after seeing  that I began looking over the vehicle more  and boy was I in for a surprise. Started looking over the rest of the Jeep, found a loose bolt sliding around on top of my skid plate found a 10 mm socket on my windshield cowel and found out my Jeep slid on their lift causing my pinch weld to bow out. Returned Friday morning to speak to Greg about the damages done because I know it wasn't like that when I dropped my vehicle off. Had Greg come out and look at the mirror and the pinch weld. He stated that the factory glue on the mirror gave way (owned the jeep 11 years and it lives outside never had a issue) and that he's not sure if the jeep slid on the post or not. I inspect my vehicle regularly since I do offroad it and know the damages aren't caused by 4 wheeling.  If the pinch weld was pulled out from hitting rocks there would be rock rash which there isn't any and I know for sure my mirror was intact when I dropped the vehicle off for service. Here's the worst part I warrantied out a set off upper control arm ball joints since I was told they had in ward and out ward play. Come to find out the ball joints are still as tight as there where when I had the control arms installed. Definitely won't be returning to this garage and definitely won't recommend them to anyone I know read more

After getting the run around on what is going on with my transmission, including through the dealership, I am so happy to have found K-Motion per recommendation by a friend. Greg was able to get me in right away and correctly affirm that there were indeed issues with the transmission. He also worked as the middleman between the dealership to get the repairs completed under warranty. On top of that they were able to provide me with a vehicle while my car was getting repaired at no cost. I cannot say enough about this place, they made the stress of vehicle repair painless and easy. Lastly when my car was completed by the dealership Greg took the time to drive it and discovered something still was not right, again he worked as the middle man to get it resolved. My clock time was changed to the correct time and a light that was going out was fixed. I had my car in for other repairs, and I forgot to mention those two things. Greg, over charged me for services and changed switched my newly used balljoints and replaced them with recalled joints. I didnt even need the service and they scammed me out of 800.00 Dollars. They also damaged my CV joints on purpose and said it was something totally different. Not once was a diagnostics mentioned. Update* Turns out there's nothing wrong with our power brake booster and KMotion was not honest about the repairs needed! We replaced the master cylinder thru an individual for $110 and we are back on the road. Next we will have a mobile mechanic do the water pump for $400- that brings the total to less than $600 for fixing everything needed. KMotion quoted us at $3,000. But to be fair- I did find my receipt and the repairs needed are in small print at the bottom which I did not see. Regardless, I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere unless you want to pay to replace working components in your ride. If I could give zero stars I would. I highly advise against working with Greg from K Motion. A few days ago I called to see if they could take a look at a problem with the braking system in my motorhome. Greg told me they could, and to bring it on by in the morning. I did just that. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. Greg seemed really nice at first. They quickly inspected the brakes and Greg called me to the counter for a final report. New master cylinder, new brake boost, new water pump. Greg says it will be at least $1500 in labor. Right then and there I told Greg that we don't have that kind of money right now and we will need to save up. Greg says he will spend some time finding the parts and then call me with the final estimate in a few hours. Now, anytime I've ever been to a shop to have something diagnosed I have been given some sort of print out with the information on their findings for that service...so here's where I ask Greg for this paper....he again states he will call me in a few hours. (Which I thought was strange, he was clearly avoiding my question.) We leave, he calls me later leaves a voicemail, and I return his call yesterday, 8/6. Greg says "It's going to be $3000." I then asked for an email with their findings and the part numbers if possible. This is where Greg is clearly offended and turns completely nasty and says "Absolutely not!! I spent 5 hours of my time yesterday looking for these parts! You just want to shop around!" Mind you, I already informed Greg the day prior that we didn't have $1500 for the labor... So, why Greg? Why would you spend "5 hours" of your (paid, on-the-clock) time (doing your job) looking for parts for someone who already said the money wasn't there? And additionally, why would you expect that a consumer wouldn't want to shop around to make sure they're getting the best deal/service? I think that comes with the territory of working in the auto repair industry!! I asked Greg why in the world he would think I would want to come back to work with tbeafter I was treated so rudely and he didn't seem to have an answer. Finally, I asked Greg to send a summary of what repairs need to be done to my email, as that's what I paid $74 for and then never received. He said that he would do that yesterday and I still have yet to receieve any documentation from K Motion detailing their inspection findings (which I paid for). I will be filing a BBB complaint. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Now, I wonder if they even were honest about what repairs need to done. read more

When I first discovered this place, they were great and I felt like I finally found a good place to get my oil change. As time when by, I felt like they were striving to find things wrong with my car and overpricing me. My brother is a mechanic so I would run by all their suggestions with him, and found out that they were just fishing for money. They are the worst repair shop in colorado. They had my truck for 5 months. Never repaired it but charged me over 2500.00 They then after they charged me for the service I found out they stole parts off my truck. Wow, ripped off, is to say the least. Never go there. My truck needed an alignment took it into these guys and they came back with a quote to replace everything on the front end of my truck for $3,200.00 I didn't have any shaking or juttering it was just the alignment that needed to be done it was a bait and switch and wasn't very pleased makes me wonder if they wanted to do the work at all! read more

This was my first time using K-Motion. they were recommended to my by a friend of mine who said they were great. Took my jeep into k-motion for an alignment . $89.99 out the door after the alignment, print out reading, and centered the steering wheel. They did a great job - the tech came out and explained everything to me that was wrong and what he fixed. You could tell that he is very good at communicating with customers. Skip sears and go here - sears will try to sell you 6 month and 12 month warranties on their alignments and you can spend $120-$150! I also sat in the lobby while my jeep was getting worked on. The shop lobby is small so you can hear every word the service advisors (ken and Greg) said. During the 1.5 hours I sat there, not once did I ever hear them push a service or a product on anyone that they didn't need. You can sit in a Grease Monkey or sears for 2 minutes and hear all of that you can stomach. I was really impressed at the honesty they offered to everyone. One of the guys, Ken, sat with a lady who brought her truck in for an oil change (probably a $30 service) for at least 25-30 minutes talking with her about her vehicle an answering questions she had. Not once did he ever shove an invoice infront of her and ask for her credit card. When she was done talking she was the one that finally said, "ok, guess I'll pay you now!" They were busy to, it wasn't like their weren't phone ringing or people not coming in. He clearly had things to do. Then Greg surprised me when this little old lady came straggling in the shop with an air tank she wanted filled - and she wanted it filled for free obviously. Right after she walked in, paying customers walked in right behind her, but he didn't hesitate one bit. He kindly told the paying customers, "hang on just a second while I help this lady get some air and I will be right back." I would put money that 9 times out of 10, most shops would have made that little old lady feel like a criminal, but these guys didn't. These guys are a dying breed. I will definitely be back. K-Motion is a great shop. I needed more than a grand worth of work done on my car and after getting quotes from four different shops they came in hundreds of dollars cheaper than the others. I felt very comfortable and welcomed at the shop and they were very accommodating and patient in answering all of my questions. The work was completed in the same amount of time and at the cost I was quoted. They even sent me a card thanking me for my business afterwards. I was in there to get my oil changed and had them do an inspection in the process. I received a call while my car was there and was told I needed new brakes both front and back, and new brake calipers in the rear. That's plural when I say calipers. I knew I needed new front brakes, everything else seemed suspicious. I questioned the calipers because my car had less than 60k miles and I know those do not go out that often. After further inquiry into the calipers, I was told that the left rear one was bad, but they were going to replace both because "the other will eventually go out too." That didn't sit well with me AT ALL. Furthermore, the guy telling me this got more and more agitated the more I questioned. My dad operates an auto repair shop going on 35 years. I called them and told them what K-motion told me. I found that brake calipers hardly ever go bad, so I took my car to my dads shop, had them inspect it, and found that I did not need new rear brakes as urgently as the person who called me made it sound, and I did not need any new brake calipers whatsoever. That's a lot of extra money I would of wound up spending had I simply believed them and didn't look further into it. Since, neither of my rear brake calipers were bad, I question whether those would of actually been replaced, or if they would of charged me and never replaced them since they didn't need to be replaced in the first place, and how many other people were told this before... Seemed like a convenient way for making an excuse to get my rear brakes replaced too, even though they weren't needed at the time. It's been nearly a year and I still haven't replaced my rear brakes. read more
