More than a headache, they turned buying new tires into a journey. To begin with, they sold me alternative-sized tires instead of the factory-recommended ones. The car was riding less than desirable, so I went back to exchange them for the correct size. They tried to charge me for installation AGAIN, and instead of prorating the extended warranty I already purchased, they tried to charge me for a second one. I finally got the correct size tires, but they were shaking worse than the first set! I took it back the next day for them to rebalance. The salesman asked if I went to get them balanced somewhere else after I left last night. That question was so idiotic that it took me a minute to register. He said there were two different sets of weights on the rim and one set wasn't theirs; he basically admitted that this was the first time they balanced my tires, even though they were supposed to be balanced at the time of purchase. Their corporate team reached out to me after I left a Google review, stating that someone would contact me within two business days. It has been four days, and I still have heard nothing. Response to comment. That's fascinating, because I didn't have any missed calls from that location. Maybe that's the philosophy of that location? Claiming work that wasn't performed? Cody's offered to refund the difference when I reached out to ask for the GM yesterday. I suggested that he have someone come to the Ford dealership to pick up the tires for a full refund; I no longer have faith in your company's work and would rather get new tires from a more reputable business. The fact that the newly purchased tires weren't balanced at all--not just once, but twice--is more than a little unsettling. Whether it was oversight or cutting corners, it put my safety at risk while driving. read more

Made an appointment for 300 dollars worth of tires. They refused to do the work unless I replaced ALL of my lug nuts not just 1 or 2. Somehow total it cost me over 800 dollars. A few after later I notice one of the brand new tires is low on air. I fill it up and move on. It leaks constantly during my work week. Am finally able to return to get them to inspect it. They find the rim is cracked all of the sudden. Manager argues with me and acts like a bully swearing they didn't crack it but never leaked air until a few hours after they worked on it. I inspected the rim at home and there is a clear impact mark from the tech missing the tire and contacting the rim when removing old tire. Manager is a complete bully I would avoid this place at all costs. I used to use discount tire for all of my vehicles but at this point I would go anywhere but here. read more

I have in the past recommended these guys and maybe 1 bad experience shouldn't curtail that, but the extra time spent and days without a car are maddening enough to write review. I was having trouble with tires losing air thru the Christmas /NY's time frame and so waited to post that (aside from the daily air adds to 2 tires on my car) and set up appt at this location on Staples Mill right after NY week. So appt ends with tek telling me they found no leak and was good to go and there was issue on tire rim causing this and needed to take back to Dealer/CarMax to address via warranty. And so thru the cold weather days I continue to spend time to add in air as needed and find a spot to drop off car @ CarMax which happened about a week ago. Within 1 visit and next morning after getting car --they found 2 small leaks / in both front tires and patched them for $20 and did my car yearly inspection too for free and was glad it was fixed finally but really wasted my time with misdiagnose by Tek or just bad at his job or just didn't give a ________. issue fixed and moving on but all these companies out in the world today really need to take stock in whom they are hiring and outwardly facing with clients seeming doing the bare min to get by vs truly going above and beyond or the minimum just doing their job to 100% . the work ethic in today's world is bad and seemingly just another brought to light example here . over and out Michael read more

Worse customer service ever!!! The on duty manager was very disrespectful. I recently purchased 4 tire for over $1,000 dollars. I had them for a few months and I wanted to get them rotated. I was told they couldn't rotate them because I had a plug in one of my tires that I put in the other day when I had a flat. Discount tire was close, so it wasn't like I could get them to fix it. I don't see why they couldn't rotate my tires and to be as disrespectful as they were about. The whole situation is uncalled for. read more

Made an appointment on a Saturday. Got there 5 mins before appointment time. They didn't take my key until 20 mins later. Informed me would take 45mins to get tires rotated. 40 minutes go by and my car still isn't in the shop. No thank you. It's obvious to me they don't value people's time or appointment times in general. People were nice but if you can't do like you say you will do, that's worthless. Won't be back. read more
