The associate was incredibly helpful and attentive. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was how he talked around the core fee and how it works. You know how you catch someone in a lie and they take detours instead of providing a straight answer? He was honest but very indirect about it. The math on the screen told me everything I needed to know. The core refund is just a wash, not a discount on the price of the battery, i.e., they added $22 to the price of the battery and then took the $22 off. Anyways, he replaced the battery very quickly and we were promptly on our way. As easy as it is to change a battery, I still hope they never stop offering this gratis service.

They had a battery in stock and I agreed to purchase. The young man was about to replace ; however a store manager would not allow him to replace. Her excuse was that due to the year and model of the vehicle that they could not replace it. It had been replaced by an Advance Auto Store employee in the past. I refused to due business there and went to another Advance Auto Parts location were it was changed without any issues. The gentleman and the lady went into the back for a moment and I overheard her saying that "we are not going to sell something at that price. It's supposed to be $90."
