We have used them in the past month for 2 different vehicles, related to slow leak in a tire. One due to faulty tire valve and one due to a screw. Walked in on Saturday and the repaired/patched the tire at NO COST. Plus I was in and out in less than an hour. I've used Discount Tire on two occasions. Both experiences were outstanding. The most recent experience was with the Chesterfield, VA location. They matched a discounted price for a tire that was offered by Goodyear. Four new tires and an alignment later and the car rides great. I have total confidence now in my stopping ability in any conditions and driving in the rain and light snow. They had to order the tire but they got a day later and the crew on duty did a wonderful job in keeping me informed as to their progress while I waited. Horrible! Started by suggesting we purchased way more expensive tires than we need or could afford to, then they damaged a bold that they weren't supposed to even touch to begin with according to our personal repair man and the repair man that we hired to fix it. They did an alignment and it was worse after because of the damaged bolt, then they didn't even offer us compensation for the alignment or the broken bolt until I complained. No compensation for the bolt so that was out of our pocket, and the business that fixed the bolt offered an alignment for free. Ive gone to a few discount tire locations before but I do NOT trust and do NOT recommend this specific one, and won't be going to any others after this experience. If they don't upsell you they'll damage your vehicle and try and send you to their buddies next door to get it fixed. read more

Purchased my tires at a different Discount Tire last year although yesterday I found myself in the area with a punctured tire from a random piece of metal. William helped us and was able to get the tire repaired and air placed in all the tires at no charge. I was so grateful for them and their kindness. I spent over $1,160 on new tires here, plus another $122 for lug nuts and wiper blades. They called me twice once about my lug nuts being rusty and again to upsell wiper blades but never mentioned an alignment check, which is crucial after getting new tires. When I came in person, a guy who was dropping off keys for another car was walking in the door. I asked if they had done an alignment, and he looked at my paperwork and said no. I then asked, "Is that normally checked when someone buys four tires?" He responded, "I can check it for you now." As he walked out to do the check, the original salesman/rep who initially helped me walked in. I told him that the other guy was already handling it, then asked him why he never mentioned an alignment in the first place. I also asked if alignment checks were normally included. His response? "Our alignment tech is not in, so we don't push for that." To their credit, they comped the alignment, but only after I had to push for it. I didn't care about the price, but if you're going to upsell everything else, an alignment check should be standard too. It directly affects tire wear and performance, so it makes no sense to push things like lug nuts and wiper blades while overlooking something that actually impacts the longevity of the tires I just bought. If you come here, don't assume they'll check what actually matters--make sure to ask, or you might leave with incomplete service. read more

The time has come where I need to get my tires rotated, and I find myself scared and uncomfortable about potentially having to come here again. I came here last year to get my tires rotated, I was a 19 year old girl by myself and it was my first time ever getting my tires rotated, I told my dad I wanted to do it by myself this time- I got my dad to make the appointment, because I really know nothing about cars- and I felt that was obvious to the workers there, as I couldn't answer many of their questions without telling them I'd have to text my mom first. I don't remember his name, but one of the older male blonde white staff members was handling my car. While I sat inside doing homework, he rolled a tire out in the lobby to me and told me " this tire is too dangerous to be driving on, it needs to be replaced or you could get hurt, I can't let you drive on it." he said nothing else. I obviously panicked, the tire was clearly old and warped, even I could see that and he sounded very serious. So I called my mom and showed her, and the man explained to her how I needed a new tire because I couldn't be driving on it and we would have to buy a replacement, and she immediately agreed to pay for a new tire. After I left he called me and told me he got me the wrong size, and I would need to come back, I turned around and watched as this man, opened up my trunk, took out a tire that was there, and shoved in another brand new FULL SIZE tire. I didn't need that tire. I wasn't ever driving on that tire- it was my dads old spare, from the bottom of my trunk, that my dad put there for gardening. This man not only tricked me, but went and rummaged in my trunk, the tire was under the false bottom of the trunk and I had plenty of stuff on top of it. He also sold us the wrong sized FULL TIRE for my car, not even a new spare, so it wouldn't even fit in the bottom. I was so ashamed and embarrassed that I had been tricked and wasted my moms hard earned money, I'm scared of ever going to get my tires rotated by myself. Ladies, and parents of teenage girls- think twice about coming here to get your tires worked on, if you have to make sure to bring a man, as for some reason, my dad and my brother have never had this problem, but they sung the same song and dance when my little sister came in by herself. read more

I love the business model at Discount Tire at this new location off Mall Drive near Costco. No pressure to buy tires or get other tire-related packages. These techs measure your tire tread, get your car into the shop, and do their magic super quick. I drive a Tesla, and these cars are heavy and require tire rotations every 6250 miles. I love the communication via email and text through the entire process from appointment scheduling to car pickup and electronic invoice. The shop is super clean, and techs are very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoyed the customer-oriented approach! beware they damaged my vehicle twice and had to send to another shop and in turn was found to be damaged 3 times upon addressing the situation instead of fixing the damaged part they denied it and claimed end of life for multiple parts. Upon obtaining the vehicle back they confirmed the could not take care of the issue for me HOWEVER MAGICALLY the issue was fixed...personally I would not trust them touching your vehicle there is absolutely no honesty in the staff or manager who handled the issue. basically the damage was clearly fixed quietly which I don't understand at all why go through all that just to fix it anyways. Never again...nothing is taken seriously here it's mostly young kids treating it like a playground throwing things around I witnessed two workers almost get hit as other workers flew into the garage with vehicles , not a safe working environment. read more

Excellent service m experience today. I noticed a nail in my tire pass this place all the time going to Costco. Having 21 inch run flat wheels, and I figured I was probably going to get taken. Not the case. In fact, the service was completely free. I left within about a half hour with a patch in my and didn't pay a dime. Also, I really appreciated them inspecting all of my tires and provided a coat estimate if something went wrong wile patching. As far as I'm concerned they earned a lifelong customer. Thai place is a scam - they try to get people to buy tires after only 25k. I'm in sales too but I don't try to talk people into buying things that aren't necessary to make more money. I will never be back here. I watched a gentlemen come in and ask for a manager and he was nice about it. They had sold him tires and then at 25000 they told him he needed new tires again. I stood as the clerk patiently heard a customer ramble at length about an issue with Teslas that had nothing to do with tires, but the clerk was patient. Another clerk seeing the delay in line resulting, came out from behind the counter and began working down the line on foot. Thus, the Telsa-rambling customer enjoyed the empathy he was looking for, while the additional clerk provided the timely responsiveness of which others in line would have been otherwise deprived. We took our car to discount tire on mall drive to get service, immediately upon arrival it was a scheduling conflict and after driving 16 miles we had to leave and come back three hour later for an appointment. Carl and anthony handled the matter in such a rude way conflict was involved. But still after being long time return customer I came in for appointment as agreed. But the very next day I noticed two of my valve stem caps gone and the other two were positioned on the last thread or two and about to fall off also. My concern is that ANTHONY AND CARL would act out against a customer in this fashion to set up him to lose the factory valve stem caps of a 50k suv with only 5,500 miles. My wife is feeling unsafe to drive vehicle as maybe they did more unseen damage being nasty. just going to take to ford to make sure all is well. Dont trust Carl he is the manager and he acts this way. Dont trust your vehicle in the hands of someone who would purposely case the loss of a customers vehicles parts as we have to go to dealer to get replacement unless we want plain black ones. read more

Karl is the man! I am blown away by the customer service. Not only did Karl answer the phone at 4;59 on Saturday but he also answered it at 8:01 on Monday when they opened. I had wheel studs break during a rotation and they covered the whole thing and sent me to CBA where I am now a forever customer due to the amazing experience I have had. Despite my car last being touched by a different discount tire, Karl took ownership due to my vehicle being so close which helped save me money on the tow.
