Very poor customer service and questionable ethics in "upselling". Never again. Do not recommend.

I've had to visit Discount Tire twice in 12 months. Although normally visiting a tire shop means bad news and stress, the person assisting me each time was very helpful. This last visit I came in hoping to be able to repair the flat, but ended up having to buy 4 new ones. Derek, (I believe was his name), was extremely helpful in recommending tires to meet my needs. I like the convenience of setting appointments online and the updates sent via text. This location has very quick service and the associates are very professional--which is much appreciated! No offense, but I hope I don't have to visit anytime soon; but if I do, I know I will receive excellent service! read more

I had a piece of metal in my tire. Randy and Alex helped me by taking a look at the tire. Unfortunately I purchased the tires at Costco. DON'T EVER BUY TIRES AT COSTCO!! I brought my car back after Costco couldn't help me. Ryan and Alex were concerned about how fast the leak was deflating my tire so they suggested switching to my spare tire which they did for me. They were awesome! Fantastic customer service and genuine concern for my safety. As a result, I purchased 4 new tires from Discount Tire because I want to be taken care of like that again. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Ordered my tires online and got in the next morning for the install. Arrived 10 minutes early and I was met in the parking lot. The truck was in the garage by the time I checked in at the desk. The tires were installed in 15 minutes and I was on my way. Seems like poor service is the norm since COVID. So it was such a nice change to work with these guys. Made my day much easier! read more

I went here to get tired put on my friend's Jeep. The service rep I talked to was super cool, nice dude. He looked at the Jeep and before checking it in asked if I just wanted to swap the full-sized spare to the one tire that was in bad shape. I appreciated his honesty but told him I'd rather just have all four tires replaced. The place was super nice, people were super professional and very fast. I have been a very good customer of Discount Tires for decades, but it was my first time at this store (18312 Lincoln Ave Parker, CO 80134). I needed a tire rotation and I now live close to this store. Erin McCarthy at her discretion did not ask me to come into the shop and look at all of my tires (I later found out why). Instead, she brought one tire in the waiting area that was severely worn on the inside, and it did not have any tread. I asked her if all of my tires were as worn on the inside; Erin said they were as worn, and she recommended replacing all four. She seemed very nice, honest, and I have never had a bad experience at any Discount Tire location; so, I asked what she recommended. The tires were expensive at $340.00 EACH (about $1,350.00 installed). She said she could have all four tomorrow, so I said OK and made an appointment for installation. I went into the shop to get my car and asked Jack about my tires. To me, two looked bad (worn inside) but to me the other two looked OK and had tread on the inside of each. I asked; are these two tires safe, and don't they have life left? He agreed they were still safe and had remaining life. But Jack said to keep an eye on them. I am a senior and not sure if Erin thought I was blind, too old to bend over to look for myself, or that I did not care about spending that much money. Regardless of her dishonest motivation, she was wrong. I am not buying those tires and I will go elsewhere. I do not recommend this location, or at minimum trusting, Erin McCarthy. read more

These guys are seriously incredible! Every time I come in whether it's an air check or repair they are always super friendly and get my car done quickly. They keep you updated throughout the whole service so you know what's going on and have an estimate on when it will be completed. Their customer service is truly above and beyond! read more

Had a tired that needed to be sealed after getting a nail stuck in it. I called Firestone first and they said they could schedule me a week out. I can't drive on a spare tire for a week so after calling discount tire they got me in immediately and we're super friendly over the phone. I spoke with Randy on the phone and Thomas was able to help me in person and they were very efficient and kind. The service cost me nothing (fixing and replacing my tire) which was amazing, but of course I tipped whatever money I had on me. Great help! read more

I like that this place offers free tire checks and air checks. We purchase all of our tires here and have always experienced good friendly service. For this last visit I needed new tires. They generally offer the ability to install tires same day or make an appointment. I chose to make an appointment a few days later. I dropped off the car, signed up for text message updates and left to go run errands. In right about an hour, got a text message that the car was ready. This place does get busy but you never have to wait long to speak with anyone. The free tire rotations for customers and free air checks for anyone is great. Highly recommend! read more

What's not to like? I had a screw in my tire and they fixed it for free because I bought my last set of tires there, even though the tire they fixed wasn't purchased there. (I had bought a new vehicle in the time since I purchased the new set of tires.) I had to wait about an hour for the fix, but a longish wait is to be expected when you go to a popular place with no appointment. It was free, so I was very happy. Have lived in Parker for over a decade. I've been using discount tire for about the same. Last year I had such a bad experience, I stopped using them. They broke my wife's wheel locks off while switching summer to winter tires. When I went to swap them back, two of the five bolts were busted, stuck in the wheel hub. Discount was the last one to touch the tires, but assumed no responsibility, other than offering a menial $400 credit towards my $3000 repair. I'm still owed $2600 by discount tire and will never receive it. read more

Do lots of business at discount tire but absolutely do not come to this location. No attention to detail. Couldn't even do the couple things I asked. Put dirty tires in back of my Infiniti in bags that were not tied on a wet day. Then got a half ass apology. Also watched them turn down 7 customers due to high volume which I have never seen from this amazing company. Like I said love discount tire but this store lacks management and organization took them 5 minutes to locate my summer tires to find out they were in my nice car after telling them I'd bring pick up truck for them. This visit began with a phone consultation with Devon to choose a tires that met my needs. He made it easy and made sound recommendations based on our conversation. I made an appointment for Saturday 10/30/2021 to have my winter tires put on. I had also purchased two new front tires by the advice of the Technician when I had my All Weather tires put on the season prior. When I checked out on Saturday, 10/30/2021 the Technician Brolin did not review my bill with me. When I arrived home to put up my bill I noticed I had been charged some warranty I did not ask for. I called and spoke to Dylan and then I went back to get refunded. I did not drive my car again until Sunday, 10/31/2021, when I drove it there was a warning light and blinking TPI indicator that said "TPI Inoperative". I called on Monday and Dylan advised to bring it in, I went back on Monday 11/1/2021 and Dylan proceeded to re-set the TPI indicator--however he was not sure how to reset it so he asked me where the 'R' button was. I was able to show him, he said it might take a few minutes for the light to go away. I drove for over 15 miles and the light was still on. I called Dylan and told him that there must be something else wrong as the light and "TPI Inoperative" was still there. I mentioned that perhaps the technician did not put/reset the TPI sensors in the new tires...he said no the TPI is in the wheels and he said it could be the sensor needs to be replaced, but to bring it back on Tuesday 11/2/2021. I arrive Tuesday at 9:15am (PT) and asked Dylan how long it would take to resolve the "TPI Inoperative"..he said 30 minutes to one hour. Dylan was in my car trying to do something...but I knew that in order to address fix the problem they had to look at the wheels. I told Dylan that and he said he was waiting for a Bay to open up. In the meantime, I saw 3-4 bays open and other cars pulled in. I advised Dylan that if he could not get my car in soon I would need to return as I needed to get to work. I then saw another 2 cars pull in the bays, I told this to Dylan and he proceeded to say he needed 20 more minutes. At this point I said no, I have given you 4 days and I am not waiting any longer. I demanded that he give me my keys, he tried to say just a minute and I demanded that he give me my keys again, this time very loudly. He then proceeded to give me my keys and I left. I have been coming to this store for over 15 years. I will not anymore. I googled "TPI Inoperative"..and it said: a really common problem with the TPMS sensor is that a careless garage may forget they are there. This means that sometimes when tires are changed the garage may not transfer the sensors, may damage them which results in the car not being able to recognize or not being able to finds the sensors. I asked Dylan who worked on my car so perhaps he could ask them what they did...he said they do not capture that information. I have an appointment with another Tire Company on Thursday 11/4/2021, I am CONFIDENT they will be able to determine and fix the issue. read more

Never had trouble at this location before, but had a terrible experience today. TPMS light came in, so I had them check it out. When they finished, the light was still on, and when I told them that, they said to "drive around for 10 minutes, and it will turn off." I did that and the light stayed on, so I returned to the store. I was ignored for a couple minutes, so I went to Brakes Plus. When they checked my tires out, I found that one was over inflated by 9 psi, and one was under inflated by 12 psi! Thank you for being thorough Brakes Plus! read more

I've been going to Discount tire for 27 years, long before this store opened. They've always treated me* well and have been competitive on prices in almost every case. My latest experience has only strengthened my appreciation for the staff at this store. I want to give special thanks to Shawn and Zach, who both helped me through a tire fitment concern with some aftermarket wheels and larger than life tires. They were patient, understanding, and above all else, Zach personally saw to the mounting and fitment checks and kept me informed and involved at every step. They put my car on a low clearance unibody lift rack as it should be instead of using jacks like some other shops have done (and caused damage). They used a fancy wheel-tire mounting rig and took great care to ensure my wheels (used but not abused) were as nice as when I brought them in. Job well done guys, way to go above and beyond! * We used to run a small fleet of company cars in the 80's and Discount was our goto tire shop as well. read more

Come right on and ask for Sean. I've been buying tires and having service completed on my vehicle for years and it's been great up until recently. You know it's bad when another associate reaches out and apologizes on his behalf about how unprofessional he was. It's unfortunate that companies with a great reputation can let an employee who doesn't fit their culture or mission ruin their business so quickly. I recently bought new tires from Discount as I always do and had an unfortunate circumstance happen with one of the wheel locks breaking while the tires were being changed. This could have turned into a negative experience with a potentially lost customer. However, the manager Zach and team stepped up and did the right thing. Just came in to get a screw fixed in a tire. It took them 15 minutes of my standing at their desk to tell me that the wait for my tire repair would be 2 1/2 hours, and they don't even have an appointment until next Monday, a week from today. I'm not comfortable rolling on my spare that long. This is certainly my last stop at this Discount Tire, and I may be done with Discount Tire in general after this set of tires (I still have to use them because this set has a warranty through Discount). I used to use them because they were convenient; now they're the opposite of that. read more

WORST SERVICE I've experienced! DISHONEST! DISHONEST! Purchased new tires in December 2021 and purchased warranty. A couple months later, I had a small leak in the tire from a nail. My wife took the car in to have the leak fixed and tires rotated. After only having the car in the garage for a very short time the manager came out and told my wife that we needed to buy 4 new tires because they were worn down. She told him that we had just bought the tires. He went back to recheck. Came back and told her that their "machine was broken" (BIG LIE) and that the tires were fine and that they had rotated the tires and she was good to go. Next day, the same tire has low pressure again. THE MANAGER LIED TO MY WIFE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE TIRES, ABOUT FIXING THE TIRE, AND ABOUT ROTATING THE TIRES. We returned the following day and the manager tried to tell us that they had done everything the day before. THE MANAGER IS SO DISHONEST AND LACKS ANY INTEGRITY WHATSOVER!!!!! Today, we had a blowout. Tires still under warranty. We called to see when they could get us in to fix/replace the tire. They told us that the only location that has this common tire is in California and that we would need to purchase two new tires. PRETTY CONFIDENT THEY CONTINUE TO BE DISHONEST!!! I've had two experiences with this shop, a shop that I don't usually use, let alone recommend. However, after receiving superior customer service both times, I will never go anyplace but here. First experience was at first a minor fail, with some instructions not being followed, but it was taken care of (and then some!) by an incredible manager whose name I now forget. He gave me a free tire after the minor complaint and, despite my trying to downplay it, he kept to his word and said that "it needs to be done right the first time, every time". Then, this past week, I went in with a low tire and Jack, a service person, took care of me like I was the most important person in the world. He was thoroughly professional, almost too kind, and I got a flat fixed for free in about 15 minutes. I cannot say enough about this place! Go there for some peace of mind. read more

Made an appointment to have a slow leak fixed on one of my tubeless tires and when I showed up at the scheduled time, was told that it would be 45 minutes before they could get me in. After insisting on service, they pulled my vehicle in, inspected the tire and told me that it was not repairable as the nail entered at an angle that could not be patched or plugged. They also could not insert a tube in a tubeless tire with the explanation that the tire would not "ride correctly" if they did as it was a tubeless tire. They also could not mount my spare tire as it was more than ten years old even though it has never been used. My only option was a $300 replacement. I went to Les Schwab, had the technician pull my vehicle in immediately, only had to apply a small patch on the inside of the tire after removing the nail that was only bent to appear at an angle, and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes AT NO CHARGE !!! Even though we bought all our tires at Discount Tire in the past for pricing reason only, I would much rather pay a little more for good customer service. Don't bother making an appointment....you'll still just stand in a line three or more deep for 15 minutes plus, while the guys at the counter ignore everyone. They don't even bother to acknowledge the line of costumers while they answer the phones, diddle their computers and check their pockets. My advice is to go somewhere else. read more

Lousy customer service. Wouldn't help me with my flat from tires I purchased from them. Last week I showed up there with a low pressure gauge on. They nice young man tested my tires to find one very low and a wire in the tread. I had patients in homes to see and needed my car. He suggested I go back inside and stand in line to see if they could help me. The man behind the desk said I would have about a 4 hour wait to fix it. I asked if someone could switch out my spare. He said it would be a 4 hour wait or next available appt would be the following week. Crap. And they belong to Parker Chamber. I will contact them to complain as well. Really?! My go-to for tire issues. I like that the employees are very courteous and professional and the lobby is clean.

Overall, I am pleased with the level of service I have received from this location. I have been buying tires from this store since they opened, nearly ten years ago. They always have the best pricing, and only twice have I purchased tires elsewhere for less money. My peeve is that there is a ton of "slick" salesmanship going on in this location. They push the high profit tire certificates that add about a hundred bucks to the sale even before you decide on a tire. Educate yourself before you go in on what tire you need and what you should be paying for it. Don't let them switch you into a higher profit tire. They are masters at this, and will even try and substitute a different sized tire on your car if they don't have one in stock TODAY. They couldn't find the exact tire for my BMW last week, and tried to push me into a different size. Since I was skeptical, I used my friend Google, and called around. Within ten minutes, I found the correct size in stock at the Colorado Springs location. I then called the store to inform Matthew I wouldn't be buying tires from him. He acted like I shot his puppy, and asked why I wanted to "waste all that gas" to drive to the Springs. He wasn't too happy he lost the sale. I politely explained that I wanted to the correct sized factory recommended tires on my car. Don't fall for the hype. You will get a good price, but be prepared to defend your wallet against a salesman trying to squeeze you for every dollar available.
