I've been coming to the store for over 15 years and I get the nagging feeling that something is now wrong here. From an initial visit to simply put on summer tires I usually swap out where a mysterious "bubble" was found in a tire forcing me to purchase 4 new tires, to more recently finding that a puncture on one of those new tires was actually a gash (not in sidewall) which could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. NOTE: discount tire bought tire rack. You should at least get a price match to tire rack when buying new tires. My experience buying four new tires at this location: Me: so how much are they? Sales guy: Price is "x" and it will take a week to get them. Me: really? I can see the tires on tire rack at "x-25%" and they can be in in two days, don't you guys own them?? Sales guy: oh I guess I should order them from there then! Unfortunately I was never offered insurance on the tires...although it was an entire new wheel/tire package...and I forgot to ask for it. So I just had to replace one of those tires for a strange puncture in the tread which they said could not be fixed. They told me it would be a week to get the tire...then called me two days later that the tire was in. I go in to get the car in a bit of a rush get the quote for the single tire...hmmm....sounds high but I trust and pay. Just looked up the same tire on tire rack....15% cheaper. And this treatment after I buy an new set of 4 high performance tires and wheels. On top of all this i recently discovered that a jeep I had been bringing to them for a 5 tire rotation (using spare in mix) only ever received 4 tire rotation (so spare is brand new while the 4 will need to be changed). I had a tire blowout on the highway and I was able to limp the vehicle to this location and Sergio was kind courteous and efficient in getting me taken care of as soon as possible. I had called a few other shops (pep boys, big O, etc) but this discount was nicest to me over the phone, and had the best prices for the tires I was looking at. I went in and spoke with Greg Fairbanks, who helped me compare the tires I was looking at and offered to go through the rest of them with me. He was very respectful and not once tried to push me towards something I wasn't looking at. As a woman I appreciated his willingness to listen to me and not attempt to push me towards something because it was more expensive or because I wasn't sure what I wanted. He went over the mileages/all season benefits with no judgement, and I felt like I chose good tires with good overall benefits. Service was fast, it was busy but it got done in about two hours. The service was fine, and the wait time wasn't long however, here I am one year later, and I have a flat tire, for the second time after using discount tire am I unable to remove my tire because the discount tire cannot seem to actually use a torque wrench to spec bolts. My Lugnuts are so tight that these things have to be over 150 foot pounds of torq on each one. For anyone who doesn't know what that means that means these things are extremely over torqued. I'm not really sure how a normal human being is supposed to do any roadside maintenance on their tire if they can't even get it off ‍ I would absolutely love any explanation from anyone at discount tire as to why this is proper protocol ? Or if your techs are just lazy? There is no reason why I should be stranded AGAIN with a spare in tow .... because y'all can't get the torq wrench out and get em right. read more

I wanted new tires, and they went out to check the old ones, measuring the tread, checking mileage, etc. Brian placed the order for my tires after talking with my vehicle maintenance company. 3. They scheduled an appointment for faster service. They called when the tires were in. I came on the day of my appointment, and was able to leave my vehicle. I Love so many Discount Tire locations (Parker, Co, Smoky Hill Rd in Centennial, but the one on County Line Road today was horrible. I needed air in my tires and so did a few people in front of me and they told us we would have to go into the store to ask-when we went into the store there was such a long line and the man at the desk said he could get someone to put air in our tires in about 45 minutes....what? The one on Smoky Hill Rd. just lets you line up and there is someone right there to put air in your tires-cheerfully. I needed a new set of tires for my vehicle and found a set that I liked on Discount Tire's website. When I called the store I talked to Greg (store manager I believe). He told me that they would need to order them and that it might take 3-4 days to have them shipped. When I called back after 4 days 2 of the tires hadn't arrived yet. Greg found 2 tires at another location and had a courier pick them up and set me up to have them installed the next day. When I arrived at the store for my appointment, I realized that I didn't have my wheel lock key and had to search my house for it. Greg called me to see if I had located it (which I did) and then he squeezed me in to get the tires mounted and installed that same afternoon. He also gave me a discount since he felt bad that I had to wait an extra day for the tires. Great service and great customer care. read more

Discount tire installed new wheels and tires on my truck. They told my wife that a brake clip was scraping but they fixed it. Once I get in the truck I hear a fairly loud metal-on-metal scaping noise. I take my truck back to discount tire and they blame the person who worked on my brakes previously. I told them this was 8 months ago, and there was no scraping before I brought it in here. A mechanic looks at it and we find that the new wheel is scraping the brake caliper because there is less clearance on the new wheels). Since this new wheel does not fit over this brake caliper, I tell them I will just take a refund and they can put my old wheels and tires back on. They tell me that my wheels and tires have already been destroyed and I will not get a refund. I'm told my only option now is to go get un-needed brake work done and see if the wheel will fit after that. I was relying on these guys to be the tire experts for me, but they really let me down. One more thing. At first, I was told Sage was the manager, then I was told Greg is the manager, then I was told Garret was an assistant manager. I'm not sure if they were lying about who the manager is or if everyone is a manager. I don't know if I ever really talked to a manager about this or not. read more

Installation techs broke two of the center caps on my wheels. My wheels are discontinued and I cannot find replacements. The salesman, Sage, and Manager, Greg, only offered to supplement the replacement cost of the broken center caps off the purchase of new rims (roughly $50). Unacceptable. read more

Yet another amazing experience at this location, i'm on my way home from work tonight I hit something on Broadway and instantly lost air in my tire. I was I was able to get the spare on and get to Discount tire where I purchased the tires. I was greeted at the door with a warm friendly hello from a man who said, don't worry, we will get things taken care of. I apologized for getting there 15 minutes before they closed as I know everyone has put in a long day, he said don't worry we'll get you taken care of. Fortunately, I had purchased the road hazard warranty. The puncture was too large to repair and the tire had to be re they had the tire in stock. They graciously put the tire on re-packing the spare tire back in my trunk and I was on the road within 20 minutes. I cannot say enough about the service at discount tire. It is always superb and excellent, that's why I continue to buy tires there so many people use this venue to complain about service. I want to give them a five star rating for how awesome I am always treated. I did not get the gentleman's name who helped me all I see on my receipt is he is employee number 21. Bought my tires at this location with the guarantee of service and free air checks. I gave a tire low on pressure so I ran in for a quick fill on air since gas stations can't provide enough pressure. I was told it will be at least an hour and a half before someone could help. I mentioned I bought my tires there in hopes their promise would come to mind. I was told they had tires to sell and everyone in the lobby came first. Fair enough I suppose. The 20 seconds it would have taken would clearly show favoritism to a previous customer. Ordered a set of four tires over the phone with an expected install date on the next day. Got a call a couple hours later, the tires were there. First off, I only spent $500 (yes you can find a set of $500 tires), I was met with a hand shake in the lobby. They promised 1.5 hours to get the tires done, they were actually finished in 45 minutes. The place is clean, plenty of chairs, everyone smiles and laughs and gets along. As I went through the bay to find the lock for the lug nuts, the guy I was with shook hands with employees as he walked through AND the guy I was with was MAYBE 22. I called discount tire about a week and a half to two weeks ago and negotiated with them to get a tire price and install set up. They did not have the tire available so they had to order it and then they set me the first available reservation. I confirmed with them while on the phone to make sure the pricing was all saved to my phone number and Josh the tech said absolutely it was. When I showed up today to have my tires put on they could not find the pricing in the system and would not honor the pricing they had given me during that phone call. The guy Dylan tried to convince me he was doing me a favor by meeting me in the middle price wise. Is this bait and switch or just a situation of poor process? I have been a long-time fan of Discount Tire, but I plan to drive a bit farther to go to the location on Red Cedar. My tire pressure indicator light was on, so I pulled into the air check here. It's on the back corner of the building, which is unusual. I waited probably 5-10 minutes, and no one came despite a handful of employees walking in and out of the store helping customers. They all looked over and ignored me. I got out of the car and asked one of the employees if someone would be attending to the air check. He said, "We help everyone in line before the air check." By this point, there were 7 or 8 people lined up at the counter, several of whom came in after I pulled into the air check. I replied, "So if more people pull into the lot and get in line, you will tend to all of them first even though I've been parked there for a while now?" I was surprised that he was not at all polite, even snappy, in saying back, "We help all the CUSTOMERS first. Be patient, and someone will get to you." I said, "I am also a customer. I've gotten all my tires at Discount, and it's likely I need a new tire." He again said I needed to be patient and someone will come out to the air check eventually. Apparently, people pulling in for a free air check aren't worthy of service here, because they aren't real customers. Well, I am indeed a Discount Tire customer, and this location lost itself my patronage for good. Discount Tire has always been great to me, but I will not come to this location. I left and went to the gas station nearby to air up my tire on my own. The $1.50 for air was more than worth my time waiting on them. read more

I have always been super impressed with Discount Tire, unfortunately I don't have one close to my house. So before seeing a movie I stopped by this store to get my slow leak front tire looked at. My car is strictly my winter car, I drive it only in heavy snow storms and less then 2,000 miles a year. The last time I had this car looked at my car he said my snow tires were good for another season I was worried when I brought my car in they would try and sell me a 1,000 worth of snow tires for a 1,500 vehicle. Quite the opposite, dropped it off, told them I would be at the movie theater for atleast 2 hrs and would pickup after. I went to the Dollar store to pickup movie snacks and went to the theater one mile away. I received a text that my car was done walking into the theater. No way, it's been like 15 minutes tops Saw the movie, went to pickup my car and everything was all squared away and they even balanced and put air in the other 3. I made the mistake and have went to other tire places BUT unless I absolutely have to I always try to go to Discount because those guys are awesome and always take care of their customers read more
