With all the crazy weather one day 50 next two days 15-27 degrees and the below zero and all the snow my tires alert on my car came on, and my goodness, my tires were really low! The roads were icy and covered, and my commute is like an hour so I had to get some air in my tires. I pull up to Discount Tire and ask if they can assist me with checking my tires and putting some air in them and the answer was yes! No if ands or buts! Mind you it was like 7 degrees outside. I pull into the garage and was greeted by such an amazing young man!!! I believe his name was Chase or Chad something like that but he was so pleasant, greeting me with a good morning just as cheerful in the cold and then he and his guys took care of my tires. The customer experience is everything to me and needing my tires checked and be safe is my Number on priority and they took care of me at no charge! I will definitely go back and give those two young men a gift card just as an appreciation of their excellent service! Bought a new set of chrome wheels from this store 2 1/2 years ago. Make it easier, snow tires on the Black OEM wheels, summer tires on the new chrome wheels. Last year on changing out to the summer tires, they didn't use the chrome lug nuts that they sold me with the chrome wheels, they used the OEM Black lug nuts. This year I told them specifically to use the chrome lug nuts. Go to pick up car, again didn't use the chrome lug nuts. When I ask them to fix it, they tell me the chrome ones don't fit, but they can sell me new chrome lug nuts?!?! Pretty strange how they fit the first summer, and now they have to sell me new ones?!?! This location is new and unknown yet! That was the fastest, best tired experience I have EVER had. Store is spanking new and beautiful. My 2 year old said she liked the seats because "they're nice and comfy." They fixed the screw in my tire free of charge. Pulled it into the bay within 3 minutes of me getting there. I was able to visit the fancy French bakery in the same shopping center during the fast (20ish minutes) wait. Super easy, fast, and friendly. The kids working there were all sharp and eager. South Parker location has the best service you will find anywhere. Today I dropped off a tire and when I went back to pick it up the person that helped me earlier in the day was already coming out of the garage with the tire before I even got to the counter. Earlier this year I took a tire to get replaced and drove in the parking lot at 5:32 PM, I was driving out of the parking lot at 5:50 PM with the new tire mounted on the rim. Super disappointed to be writing this. My family and I have been only buying tires from Discount Tire for the past 20 years. We have always had such great customer experience which has kept us coming back time and time again for our tire needs, up until now. Every single time we have purchased tires, we have always purchased the damage warranty. On our most recent purchase, we asked if they would price match Costco's prices (which we always do - every time!) and they did. However, it was assumed that since Costco also offers a damage warranty as a part of their tire purchases (and again since we always purchased it historically - it has been either offered or added automatically) that it was included. We got a puncture in our tire requiring it to be replaced, which I thought to myself "good thing we are with Discount Tire" and we always have that warranty... come to find out, they did not include it and are unwilling to honor, even if we offer to purchase it now. Sadly, we could have gone with Costco and paid $100 more than Discount and had the same tires and obviously, better warranty, but instead we are stuck paying $332 extra and working with a store manager who is unwilling to work with us even given our years of customer loyalty and recorded history of purchases. I have been using discount tires for quite a while and this new location is fantastic. I bought new tires at the beginning of the year (Feb 2022) and by now (oct 2022) two of them were balding. The employees got me credit and new tires (a different kind) for basically just the charge of labor and the insurance (GET THE INSURANCE). They are always helpful and have even brought out the mechanic tech to talk to me when I requested a more in-depth explanation. A+ customer service and excellent prices. They will price match as well. read more
