I have had issues numerous times at this location and had never said anything. This time is BS. I take my vehicle in to have the tires rotated. After they rotate them, it drives unstable on the way, the next day really bad. Can't be the tires right? Heck, just had them rotated. Took it to my mechanic, a tire is separated on the inside, you can actually see it. Take it to Discount, only to find that 3 of the 4 separated on the inside. How the heck did they not see this when they rotated the tires????? I felt it with my hand. Now they tell me they can only give me the prorated discount on 3, not all 4, yet all 4 are under 50k miles. Why would we think the 4th is not separated or soon to be? They put on 3 tires because they have to order the 4th. Of course never called to tell me the 4th came in so I had to call them. Take the car in to get the 4th new tire paid at full price, put on. Come home, open the trunk, the spare tire is thrown in, not put in place, not bolted down, covers thrown on top not put in place. 3 tires without the chrome caps on the air valves. Absolutely total BS and with no regard. I've been buying tires for 3 vehicles at this place for 9 years. Good guys but taking my business elsewhere. read more

Kind of funny when you make an appointment for 11:30 AM and he tells me it'll be a little over an hour to change one tire and then the person behind me who is a walk in without an appointment gets told the same time. I will never go to any Discount Tire ever again. Every time I go in there, it's an argument!!! Whether it's where on my car I want my new tires placed, if my tires are too worn to be rotated, or how to rotate them. They WANT me to believe they are concerned about my safety, but what it really is is a liability issue. Don't try to sell me new tires when I already told you I don't have money for tires. If it REALLY is a liability issue, why didn't they ask me to sign a wavier?? So here's my experience, I purchased a set of tires for my silverado ( very courteous and quick service) once I got home, I noticed the tires were a decent amount smaller in diameter than what I assumed they would be. So I called in and explained I wanted to go with bigger tires and if I could bring the truck back in. They were very understanding and said that would not be a problem. I went to Discount Tire last week for my BF last week. He had taken his car to BIG O tires first who told him the tire couldn't be fixed and that he needed to buy 2 new tires. They are a special size tire. He called Discount Tire and spoke to Johnny who got them ordered and delivered by the afternoon. I brought it there for him and Johnny assisted me. Great customer service skills and on it!. I came back after going to eat lunch and he asked if my bf was available to call. Johnny advised him he was able to save the tire and plug it . Also that he didn't need 2 new tires. Johnny saved us some money for sure . We appreciated that he was honest and advised that the tire could be fixed and no need to buy 2 tires. I've had 2-3 vehicles in the family which have been serviced by Disount for the last 20 years. Recently, I've become pretty turned off while waiting for service and listening to the sales' pitches. Talk about used car pitches. People hear "Bridgestone Dueller" and think, wow great tire. Does the sales rep tell the person about all the different "Dueller" grades? NO I have an oversize aftermarket tire on larger wheels on an SUV. On the most recent 4 stops to check air pressure, the new employee who has to fill air is instructed to go to the door frame for manufacturer tire pressure recommendations. Too bad they don't know which tires are stock versus significantly larger. In addition, I had three reps all recommend different tire pressure ranging from 32 to 38. In addition, the reps are pushing for the new tire pitch and neglect to tell me the tires are supposed to be good for another 10K miles! These guys have lost knowledge of the basics. Too much success and their just pushing for revenue and volume. read more

I purchased a new sports car & within 3 days got a screw in right rear tire. UGH!! My Husband took car to Discount Tire. Unfortunately tire needed to be replaced, screw was to close to side wall. (as we thought). He ordered tire Friday morning, it was at shop by afternoon. We went in Saturday morning, there were a few people in front of us, but employees acknowledged all of us they'd be with us soon. Wally greeted us with a smile & apologized for the wait (which was less then 4 minutes). Wally was professional & very helpful. He gave us details on Road Hazard Warranty. There was no pressure to purchase it from Wally, but my husband & I discussed it & bought it. (Reminder had car 3 days when tire was damaged). We were told it would be about 45 minutes. We sat & watched all the tech's in garage working hard. It looked like a pit crew for a race car, everyone seemed to have a specific job & they were doing very well. (It was over 100° already). Michael was our Tech & got us out in no time. We watched him work with speed & precision. We always use Discount Tire, they're always professional & helpful & they care about their customers ! Had been to this place once before for repair of a puncture in one of my tires. The repair was done free of charge even though the tires had not been purchased there. So this time, another flat but instead of a puncture, I had part of a utility knife blade in the middle of the tire. Didn't think it could be fixed but what the heck. I called first thing in the am and Michael told me to bring the tire in. I did this and no surprise, it wasn't able to be fixed. It was about time to replace my tires anyway so I looked into this. I normally get tires online or through Costco and found the prices here to be comparable and most importantly, in stock. I am wheelchair bound and rely on my 12yo son for help and need the security of knowing that things are right and working as they should be. I am no longer able to do much on my own and changing a tire is impossible. Wally & Michael made sure that my tire purchase and install were handled in a professional and efficient manner. They determined my spare was too old to safely put on my truck, so they put a loaner tire on my wheel until my new tire came in. I honestly don't know if this is the SOP, but I was impressed. Even though I made an appointment online (super easy, btw) I called and asked if I could bring it in early. So even though I got there 2 hours before my appointment, I was still outta there in 45 minutes. And there were a ton of other vehicles there.
